I've always been an animal person. Back in India, I have a dog of my own Shadow, he is 6 years old now, he was a very big part of my everyday life, so moving here for my master's degree and being away from him has been really hard. I miss him a lot, and pet sitting feels like a beautiful way to fill that space while giving love and care to other pets.
I have hands on experience caring for animals, i looked after my own dog for six years managing his daily routines, walks, feeding time, grooming and emotional needs. I have also babysat a cat for a week, and after coming to the UK, i babysat a dog for 5 days, so I'm comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether it's going for walks, sticking to feeding schedules, playing, or just sitting quietly with them for company, I make sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for.
My walks are usually 30-60 minutes depending on the dogs breed, age and temperament. I am available both on weekends and weekdays any time of the day from 10am to 8pm. (Timings are negotiable). I make sure the leash is not too tight or too loose and the dog walks beside me. I adapt my approach to each dog’s behaviour, using calm control for reactive dogs, patience for anxious ones, and engaging, structured walks for high-energy personalities. I can give dogs oral medications. I handle emergencies calmly, responsibly ensuring your dogs safety first while contacting you immediately with clear updates. I also provide regular updates like photos and videos so you know how your dog is doing.
I handle one pet at once for walks as I want to give my full attention to them while outside, and 2-3 for house sitting. I offer constant updates to owners every 30-60 mins as the owner suggests.
