About: My 10 year old and I love it when your babies enjoy a swim in the lake in the summer and/or a walk around the lake with us. Rest assured your fur babies will be happy and healthy while you are away. Our standard poodle is my daughter’s best girl. We go for walks at least once per day around the lake (1.6 miles around). Sometimes we even go more than once and we all get a good workout in! We usually care for dogs here at home, however, I am open to caring for your fur babies at your house, if you prefer! I currently work from home and have open availability for caring for your fur baby while your away. I live on a quiet dead end street and a fully fenced in yard. We currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I have an active 7 year old son who loves animals who loves all animals. For our shy friends- who need privacy and some space, there is a spare bedroom for them. Animals are free to roam around and go on our furniture and be let out as often as needed. Do not hesitate to ask me any questions. Currently, working part-time and have open availability during the week, weekends, and some holidays. I can drop in for a visit or boarding at my house. When I dog-sit, visiting dogs are welcome to interact with my own dogs as long as they are dog-friendly and show appropriate behavior. About: Your dog becomes part of my household, which already includes a Border Collie and Jack Russel. I would not crate any dog unless absolutely required for short periods. Therefore I need to meet the dogs before commitment to ensure they are friendly and fit in for a visit. I am running my own farm business and is at home almost all the time, taking care of animals is my day-to-day activity. I only take in 1 or 2 animals at a time and already spend a lot of time walking and playing with my own dogs, adding 1-2 additional is part of the daily activities. I have 2 dogs already, they are never crated (since initial house training). I would not expect to crate any visiting dog either, unless there are specific circumstances raised by owner or if dog is destructive in the house when running free. I am the only carer for visiting dogs. While there are other people in household, I will be the sole carer and only person signing up with Rover.

I believe in, and practice a positive reinforcement training and reward system. I will provide a safe and fun and social experience for your dog. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am also well versed in the “crate and rotate” situation in the event there are animals in my home that don’t like each other. My schedule does vary and I do work weekends but animals are never left alone for more than 4 to 6 hours. Crate trained animals are required to stay in my home. I am happy to help with that sort of training.

About: We’ve taken care of cats and dogs since we were younger. Lucy has grown with pets all her life. We have cats who are independent and a lab puppy they’re all very friendly. We love both dogs and cats! We have a home with a fenced yard. We have small children who are also gentle and have had pets around since they were born. We’d love to watch your pets! We can send pictures, have potty breaks often, go to dog parks, accommodate to your pets needs. :) Lucy is at home throughout the day so she will be mostly watching your pet during their stay. Hopefully your pup or cat is okay to be alone for 1-3 hours while I’m out running errands on some days. Our home has a baby gate that separates our rooms and bathrooms from rest of the home, our cats are most of the time in our room area. All pets are allowed everywhere, but will mostly be in the living room/kitchen area. You are more than welcome to come see the house before deciding to leave them with us. :)

About: I have grown up with pets in my family my whole life. I started out with cats and eventually got my own dogs and I’ve been caring for both for 30+ years. I love animals and it shows in everything I do. I have four dogs of my own and I volunteer with a local rescue where I try to foster dogs and cats and do as much as I can to help out. I have administered vaccinations to pets when needed. I have all the necessary tools to care for animals in my home. I have a fenced in yard and which I take the dogs out to play. It’s like camp for doggies! Ask any of my friends, relatives and previous dog sitting customers… I will treat your pets like my own. I typically dog walk mid-day any day of the week. When boarding, I am home most of the day and all night with your pets to take them out and feed them and give them whatever they need. I have a fully fenced in yard in which dogs love to play. The fence is 4 feet high and I can be out in the yard with them at all times to watch them play and interact with each other or I can just have your dog out in my yard by his or herself if that’s what your dog prefers. If you prefer crate training for your dog, I have crates and I have separate rooms that I can keep your loved one(s) in if he/she prefers some alone time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 15. I also owned a German Shepard,& Labrador. I love taking care of pets as if they were my own. I am pretty flexible all around. Tell me the day and time and I can make it work. I am open to weekdays and also weekends. I have a large backyard as well as a crate if needed. I can meet my clients need according to what they would like done.

About: I have experience in raising a puppy to adult. I have taken care of small dogs to large breeds. I can promise plenty of play time, water, love, and snack time for your family member in my care. I also understand as an extended family member your instructions matter most of all. My dog is off the leash trained so, I am more than happy to assist in additional training needs. I have worked remotely the last 4 years.I am currently a business owner with flexibility in their schedule as I work later hours. I love animals and having the ability to make money and provided good care to our four legged friends is important to me. I never leave my animals outside without supervision. I have a leash stake if necessary to allow adequate excerise without my holding a leash. My dog is off the leash trained and never leaves our property so a fence has never been necessary but, I never her let her out of my sight.

About: I love dogs, big and small, and enjoy building relationships based on love and trust with dogs I meet. My friends know how much love and attention I show their dogs whenever I visit, and frequently have asked me to care for their dogs while they're away, whether it's a week or longer vacation, an overnight trip, or simply needing someone to feed and/or walk their dog either as-needed or on a given schedule. I have experience with older and special-needs dogs, and have given dogs eye drops, given pills and liquid medications (including dogs who weren't eager to eat), and I've even given IV infusions to one dog I was caring for. I work fully remotely so dogs in my apartment are almost never left alone, and if they are, it's never for more than 5-10 minutes at most. My schedule is very flexible, so if your dog needs to be walked at exactly 8am, noon, 4pm and 8pm, I can generally accommodate that or any other schedule. I try to maintain consistency with how your dog is cared for by you, so if you allow him or her on furniture, he or she is welcome on mine, but if you don't, I'll make sure he or she stays off mine. If there's a specific route you'd like me to walk your dog on, I'm happy to follow it, and I'll follow any and all instructions you provide related to treats, feeding, etc.
