About: My momma hated animals while growing up, and you know why? Shedding, mortal enemy of every pet owner. We changed her mind and finally convinced her to adopt a dog when I turned 19, and wouldn’t you know it, she also fell in love. Now, we’ve got 4 dogs in the family. Life happened and I had to move from AL to PA. It definitely broke my heart that I’d also part ways with the family doggos. But dont worry, folks, I found a way to bring some animals back into my life. My partner and I got a playful kitty and fluffy corgi! If you dont know how it feels to have a cat purring on your lap while your doggo is snoring by your feet, you haven’t lived. 🥲😂 Life’s just way better with animals! On the weekdays, I work remotely, and I’m available for boarding check in after 1 pm and after noon during weekends. Please let me know if there are medications or other special care for your babies. Our house is fenced and has a mini fence wherein your doggo and mine could play together or do their business. A crate is also available if necessary.
About: Who can love your little ones as you do? I was licensed for child daycare in Colorado for over 10 years. We are animal lovers and guardians of two little dogs. Adults who love and understand the needs of little fur babies. We would love to get to know your special one too. Please make sure you add all of the info for the vet you use. All dogs will need to be current on vaccines and flea and tick care. Please keep in mind when you pay for one day it covers you for 24 hrs. So if you bring your baby at 6 a.m. you will be covered till 6 a.m. the following day. Any hours after that is $6.00 an hour. If you book for more than a weekend, I can be flexible (1 to 2 hrs) due to flight delays, etc. Thank you! I'm currently not working outside home so no matter what your little ones will have someone here at all times. I feed everyone seperately and we walk when weather permits. We have potty pads available for comfort in between outings. I allow access to my whole home and will enjoy a walk once a day or more weather permitting. We have a great time individually and daily with all our little ones.
About: My wife and I have loved animals our whole lives. As a kid, I was always bringing strays home or helping the neighbors take care of thier pets. My wife used to walk dogs for extra money as a kid and grew up in a household where her family fostered dogs. We both like to think we have a natural gift, especially with dogs. We firmly believe that dogs need stimulation and socialization, which s in part why we decided to join Rover. Our German Shepherd, Luna, LOVES other dogs and is always looking for a playdate. We take her to the dog park nearly daily and she also gets 2 healthy 1-1.5 hr walks a day, one around the neighborhood and 1 at one of the many walking trails in the area. We also have a fenced in yard. When you choose to leave your furbaby with us, you can be assured they will not be bored! We run our own business and make our own schedules which allows us to work our schedules around caring for animals. We also work as a team so no matter what, one of us is almost always available. We have a two family house that was converted into a single family. There are plenty of rooms with plenty of pet gates so if needed, our cats can escape to a dog free area and if for whatever reason, your dog wants to be alone, they can. We have a fenced in yard. We only use it for in between walk potty breaks or if the dogs get a little rambunctious, we will take them outside and throw the ball around or watch them chase each other. We do not leave them unattended.
“Wade was absolutely amazing with Rex! I had never left him with a sitter before and was extremely nervous, but Wade made the entire experience stress-free. He sent multiple updates and pictures, took Rex on long walks every day, and treated him like his own. I know Rex is going to miss him! He did incredible with him, and I could not be more grateful. I would give a million stars if I could!”

“Stayed at my house with my two pups and did amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of and I couldn’t have been happier. She sent updates and pictures throughout the days as well :). Great sitter!”

About: I have taken care of my own dog for 10 years, giving me hands on experience with daily routines, behavior, and long term care. My friends, family, and neighbors all trust me with caring for their pets whether that be through walking, feeding, and overall care. I am reliable and attentive, making sure everyone feels safe. I am currently working a part time flexible job so it will be very easy for me to have an open schedule to care for peoples pets. I always make sure whatever pet I am around that they feel comfortable with me. I will carefully listen and understand a pets routine making sure their routine doesn’t get off track. Safety of the animal always comes first to me and making sure they feel comfortable in the situation they are in.
About: Being a child of a veterinarian, i have a life time experience understanding how to understand and take care of a variety of animal especially dogs and cats. I have a lot of patience when it comes to puppies tho I do not have experience in training. But I have experience in specialized senior care. I do have some recorded vet assistant qualifications, I am able to administer many medication up to and including SQ fluids with confidence. It depends on the temper of the animal but I am willing to do basic grooming like nails, basic bathing and brushing. I am not a professional groomer but I have patience, skills and the love to keep animals clean and happy. I am an undergraduate student who is balancing classes and a part time job. Night time, mid day if possible, and morning check ups are going to be a constant schedule and easy for me to get to without much negotiation. Longer to overnight stays are possible but I have to disclose that it would be difficult to stay 100% with the animal especially during the week. I personally live in a small apartment with a cat so I would prefer to work out of clients homes if possible. I think it is important for any animal to feel comfortable, being in their own home would be the most comfortable environment for a pet when the owners are away. If at a clients house, I will follow what the animals personal schedule. For an example, if they get up at 7am every day and go outside to do their business, I will be there at 6:45 to make sure they go out on time. My first priority is the animals comfort and health and I believe that can be achieved with understanding how their life is when the owners are home. Routine is important to animals, even more important for senior animals.

About: I grew up in East Texas with 3 Bengal tigers in my front yard and a minuture potbelly pig named Bubba in our home. I currently have a Exotic Micro Bully named Gucci who loves all other animals. Your pet will be loved and safe with us. My life is Gucci and we would love to have your animal and promise to keep them safe. They will be walked and entertained. If your pet doesn't like other pets then we might not be the best fit. Gucci can handle just about anything but he is so socialized that I don't think he would defend himself even if he needed too. Please only other animals that are completely okay with other pets. We go to the Westmoreland County Dog Obodeience School once a week and will pass on all knowledge we learn to those that will let us teach them. Your pet will be loved and safe with us. My life is non stop pet care. You will have no worries of your pet being left unattended. Gucci is never left alone and neither will your pet. Lots of walks and love! If you would like your pet crated for whatever reason please provide it. We are a crate free home. I live in an apartment but it's a big one and we take lots of walks.

About: I’ve watched multiple of my family members dogs, ranging from big to little dogs. I enjoy spending time with animals and learning more about them. I also enjoy walking dogs around the neighborhood or to the park. I’m currently taking care of my grandma so I don’t really have a set schedule. So I’m always willing to help out. I have a dachshund and she is very nice towards animals and people so if I were to house sit she would also be very welcoming.
“Ruxin is a 13 year old weimerener with loving energy. His disposition matched Natalie’s personality and there were no hesitations from either of them; they bonded immediately. Natalie is a natural. She is reliable, competent and confident. Your pet is in good hands with her. I cannot speak highly enough of Natalie’s communication and ongoing commitment to keep our loved one safe, happy and healthy while we were away. This was the peace of mind that made the trip so relaxing. Natalie can be trusted without doubt or hesitation. She is thorough and seeks clarification if she is unsure of something pertaining to the uniqueness of your pet-this is the assurance that I admire and respect most in her ability to provide exceptional care. I know that Ruxin enjoyed his stay-cation from us as much as we enjoyed our time away visiting family. This was evident through the photos that she shared throughout. In addition to the great care that she provided to Ruxin, Natalie took outstanding care of our home. Upon returning from our trip, we were very pleased to find our house spotless! Thank you Natalie for your ongoing dedication to the pets and their homes that you care for. Ruxin sends his ❤️”

About: My motto is that it's my responsibility to make sure that each dog under my care is HAPPY and SAFE. Every day that I'm with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it's my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they're used to at home. I'm a huge dog lover, so making pups as happy as I can, just comes second nature for me! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having! I’m hoping to make Rover a full-time career! That’s how much I love animals! I’m very flexible with all your pet caring needs so if there’s anything I can help with, please let me know! Although I'm unable to watch your pups at my home, I'll make sure they're safe at yours! I make sure I understand the pups needs, routine, and any specific care instructions provided by you, the owner. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, ensuring their environment is safe and clean, exercising them, and administering medications or treatments if required.

“Jen was amazing, and it was such a pleasure to work with her! Her knowledge and experience with dogs, especially considering our high-maintenance Siberian Huskies, left us very confident that we could trust our babies with her while we were away for a week. We have four dogs—three young adult Siberian Huskies and an older mixed-breed. Our four dogs absolutely adored Jen. We've never seen them so attached to someone other than us. Jen communicated regularly and sent us pictures daily, and we could tell our dogs were being well cared for. She was respectful of our home and left it nice and tidy. She checked our mail, brought in our trash bin, and even let us know of a house issue that came up while she was sitting. I’m so happy we found Jen; she was the only reason we were able to enjoy our vacation stress-free without worrying about our dogs. If you’re looking for a professional, friendly, experienced sitter who will take excellent care of your pets, Jen is highly recommended. Thank you so much, Jen! We hope to work with you again!”

Lorain pet parents share their Rover experiences
Lydia is amazing and we know our fur babies will be well taken care of when she’s with them! We had back to back vacations and the communication before, during and after is superb. We felt so at ease leaving our dogs in her care. Not only does she take such great care of our dogs, but the house is spotless when we return. I’d highly recommend Lydia, she’s the best!

Lydia was amazing from start to finish! Great communication leading up to our trip and while we were gone… daily updates and pictures helped with our anxieties about leaving our guys for the weekend. The house was immaculate when we got home and all the dogs were well cared for. Would highly recommend Lydia 🐾
