About: I’m reducing my current job schedule to part time as a mental health therapist in order to engage in my passions. With this in mind, I would love to direct my empathy, patience, and connection towards any animal(s). I currently own 3 cats and would want nothing but the best for them if I were to be away and so I will use this as my guide when keeping care of your pets. I have been around animals most of my life and have taken care of dogs, and cats primarily for family, friends, and strangers throughout my career experience. This is my first time on an app so please feel free to ask any other questions as it is welcomed! I’m currently working part time with a flexible schedule so I would like to say I am very flexible and can work with most schedules at this time. I live by treating others the way you want to be treated, so if I am at someone else’s home, I will be respectful on the space and property. About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. During the school year, I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. This means that my summers are very open and free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

I have been on Rover for a few years now and have experienced alot so far but I am sure that I will still get a surprise here and there! I try to take all surprises with grace and just learn from them! We have: bones, hard yak cheese sticks, frisbee, balls, soft stuffy toys, rope toys, bubble machine, dog pool and pounce sprinkler, lick mats, sniff mats, puzzle toys, we do some arts and crafts (typically on or near holidays), homemade frozen enrichment bowls, if you request a bath for your dog I have multiple deshedding tools. Blankets, crates, extra bowls and diapers if needed. I am investing a lot into my doggy business. I recently made a small indoor gated area that has mats layed down for optimal comfort during indoor play and sleeping. I am in the process of creating an additional fenced in area in my yard that will feature a sand pit for those that love to dig, turf grass to contain the mud and a climbing feature for king of the hill! I can give your dog the patience it may need for basic training along with draining out some of the coopt up energy so they can listen better! Training in wee hours doesnt bother me at all and can even be fun. I have kids that are not rough or overly involved with animals and that also know some basic training. Any medication or special request can also be discussed and accommodated. Any questions just feel free to ask. Thanks for reading and considering me for your fur baby. I currently work from home so am pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating what works best for my pet parents! My mom is also very helpful in the chance that I do leave home, she resides with me! I have a decent sized fenced backyard for being in the city. We love to play fetch and run perimeter. Inside we like to use our indoor manners. Typically all of the dogs sleep together with blankets and cushions that I provide in a space that is about 10x10. I do have crates to utilize if it is the pet parents preference or if we have concerns with potty or chewing issues (I may utilize a doggy diaper when in doors if your dog marks inside) . Some dogs do get to sleep in a separate space from other dogs or in a room with one of my kids if that is where they feel the most comfortable and behave the best.

About: My family always had dogs and cats while I was growing up. I sorted the pictures of the dogs I have known the longest to the shortest, with a photo of me at The Hemingway House in Key West FLA petting a cat. First is my childhood dog named Fezz who passed away in 2020. Second is my brothers beagle, Jack. Next is an old friend’s tan Pitbull named Louise. Then there is my dad’s white puppy named Piggie. The next photos are my friend Andy’s dogs. Two Bully Breeds. The white one is Biggie and the grey one is Gianna. I have watched them a few times and I walk them together. Biggie is a rescue and is considered a high risk dog. He has bit 10+ people, but he loves me so much and is very comfortable around me. I wouldn’t say I’m a dog whisperer, but I certainly have a way with dogs. I have watched my brother’s beagle as well a few times. When I lived in CO (about a decade ago) I watched a German Shepherd and an Alaskan Malamute. They were a handful and hard to walk together as they were both pretty big and strong, but I was still able to do it. I work remote doing life and health insurance, so I’m just looking for a side job to supplement my income until I build my book of business up. I could watch them at my house as I have a huge fenced in yard, but I would rather meet the animal at home where it’s most comfortable for them. When I watch Andy’s dogs, I watch them at his house.

About: I’m Kourtni! I’m looking for a part time commitment taking care of your pet! I am new to Rover but I frequently watch friends pets. My whole life, animals have loved me. They’ve always preferred me over others. I’m great with dogs, cats, and small animals. I live in a manufactured home park, so I frequently can take your pet on walks and by the river with little to no traffic. I stock up on treats. I can administer medication to your pet. I’m not claiming to know everything there is to know about animals, all I know is I love them and care for them well and they love me! If you think I’d be a good fit for your animal please get ahold of me. :) As of 12/27/22: I am now only taking house sitting clients that are okay with me bringing my pet as well. He is potty trained, listens very well and has never been around a dog he doesn’t like. I’m an independent contractor and run my own small business, so I make my own schedule with my typical work life. Therefore, I can usually work around different schedules depending on every animals different needs. My pet is alone usually around 6 hours per day. I usually give him some snacks to keep him occupied. I do not have a fenced yard currently but hoping to at some point. Living in a park, I keep my dog on a 40 ft in ground leash, but while dog sitting I usually take the other dogs out on their walk leash.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have helped family and friends by watching their animals while they are gone. I enjoy spending time with animals. I work full time. I am mainly available in the evenings and weekends. My work schedule can vary some days and I may be available during the day. My children love animals, if appropriate I would love to be able to bring them along at times to help teach them responsibility and to give your pet extra attention. Please know if you are not comfortable with my children coming that is perfectly fine and I will come on my own. I am not available to care for pets in my own home. My dog does not always get along with other animals. I can dog sit in your home.

About: Have had multiple dogs all my life. Each dog always required different needs. I understand the way dogs act or if they get jealous by paying attention to their actions. But love going on walks in my free time, so why not bring a furry friend! It's enjoyable for me! Night time walks/runs happen after work. If you have a pet safe wireless system at home. I do have a little tot that loves dogs and she is good about keeping her eye on them letting me know if they are doing something they shouldn't be doing.. Angel tolerates and does her own thing. About: My animal experience began as a child, having MANY cats, dogs of various sizes, bunnies, hamsters, Guinea pigs, turtles, and more as pets! As an adult I now have Siberian Huskies, German Shepherds, and a few large breed mixes. My boyfriend and I also raise Siberian Huskies and GSD’s. About: Animals are life! I have been an Animal caretaker since I was 15. I’m the animal guru everyone calls for simple solutions until they can go to the vet. I currently work at a dog resort, I’m very flexible with my hours and have plenty of time to help you out with the animals. It’s all about the safety of the animals.
