About: Friend to all animals.✨ I have walked and dog-sat two pitbulls (ages: 2 and six months) on a weekly basis since the fall of 2022. My additional clients include mutts, a pug, a belgian shepherd, dobermans, and more, ages ranging 10 weeks - five years. I have stuck with some clients for over a year until their schedules changed or they moved, and with some dogs on a temporary basis. I am intent on working with the owners to adapt to their training methods for their fur-babies and enforcing those gently. Walks are enjoyable for both the dogs and me: I keep it lax and adapt to what they want in that moment. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and fur-babies alike since I was 15, when I would dog-sit and walk for family friends. I’ve had varying dog sitting and cat sitting gigs (both day visits and overnights) since then, some of which included overnight stays. Pet care is great supplemental time with pets and additional income while I full work remotely. I am flexible to work with clients on their schedules/their adorable pets schedules. I am also available some nights and weekends. My top priority besides providing love, fun and stimulation to your pets is their safety: both for their sake and my own. Making sure that we discuss your yard set up especially your fencing, and indoor set up (do you have animal gates/baby gates set up, areas they’re not permitted in), etc. Communication is key and I would love to know what works for your animal: what boundaries are set and what they’re comfortable with.
About: I have had family dogs all my life! It has always been a passion of mine to make sure they get the best level of care. I have my own year old pup and have seen all the ins and outs of dog care! I am most comfortable working on nights and weekends with occasional holidays! I get up with my dog early in the morning and walk everyday! I have a fenced in yard and a quiet neighborhood that makes so for a safe and welcoming environment for pet sitting and pet care!

About: I’ve had animals since I could walk. They have always been a part of my life. I worked at an animal shelter for a few years, working with dogs, cats, horses, and even goats. I bathed dogs, took them on walks, and even administered medicine when needed. I am currently a stay-at-home mom so I have a ton of time to spend caring and playing with your furry friends! My daughter loves animals as well and treats them with respect! I have big yard with tons of space for your dogs to roam! If you would like, I have space for their crates as well.

About: I am available to walk/do drop ins/some house sitting &/or overnight stays & cat sitting/drop ins anytime in the Shandaken, NY area. I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I work part time on my own schedule so my availability is flexible & I can work with you & your needs! I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc.... Right now I work at a job that has changing hours so my availability shifts. An additional bonus is that I create my work schedule. My dog is my world and I treat him like gold. “Where to start with Alexa. We absolutely love her. I was a little nervous to use the Rover site, as I am picky over who watches our dogs, but Alexa has become a part of our family. We started using her about two years ago to walk our puppy pitbull. Ryder was not an easy dog to watch or walk at first. He had behavioral problems and was terrible on his walks.
