“Lexis was an awesome pet and house sitter. She was great with our very old (18 yrs) girl. She made sure she was taken care of, Rx administration, food consumption, and bathroom. Our girl wasn’t walking too well and she picked her up and took her everywhere (14 lbs). House was a minor perk that our girl was able to stay home while we were out of town to minimize disruptions and came home as we left it. About: I’m in my mid 30s and been responsible for at least one pet since I was about 8. I love all animals and have personally had cats, dogs and fish. I graduated from A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology and am currently working with marine mammals. I have experience in dog and cat training, this includes harness/leash and behavioral. Because of my degree I have a background in animal behavior which I use to help talk to and understand animals. I have worked with pets, dolphins and wolves in the past. I absolutely love animals and find it the most rewarding teaching and interacting with them. Please let me help you love your pet. I work full time on Sunday-Tuesday. So I cannot work those days. The other days I have the occasional volunteer project but can work around any Rover commitment. I live right next to a park and the beach so it’s very easy to take dogs for a walk. If I am staying at a clients place I have a truck to take the dog to a dog park if there isn't one nearby.

About: As a teacher and mother, I’m a natural caregiver and there’s nothing I love more than caring for dogs. I have a gift for understanding them and providing the right kind of love and affection. I’ve worked at a vet, helped dog rescues in Korea, and have been a dog sitter since childhood. Our dog Prim lives a splendid life in our new fenced backyard. We brought her to Maui from Korea and have showered her with love. Along the way we’ve watched many buddies for her, always making these dogs feel like part of the family. Let me put your mind at ease, give your dog a safe and loving second home, and provide you with some cute photos too! I am a teacher so I’m usually home by 3 pm and have a lot of holidays off. My husband works four days a week. We’re always home on the weekends and have a great setup when we’re not here so that pets can enjoy both the house and the backyard. My yard is fully fenced in and live on a quiet cul-de-sac. We are very aware of potential dangers and try to always have a plan in case it’s needed. We’re informed on all feeding precautions and exercise care during play and meal time. Both our kids, even our toddler, are careful and kind with all animals. I passed my dog whisperer genes on to them!

About: I grew up with all sorts of dogs. I currently care for Malu, an 11 year old border collie, and Ruby, a 2 year old Australian Shepard. I’ve pet sat (dogs and cats) for about 9 years now for friends and family. Their pets are always well cared for as if they were my own! I work full time but am usually free after 2:30 during week days and any time during the weekends. I am usually around during holidays as well and have no problem taking care of animals for an extended period of time if you’re off island! I make sure that pets are well taken care of in your home. I am abundantly cautious to make sure your pet and home are taken care of. I have no problem following any procedures and routines you have in place for your pets!
