“Came to walk Ace last minute tonight while I am sick. Ace came back happy and tired. Very very sweet!”

“We are so blessed to have found Maria to walk our dog, Aria. She's been walking Aria 3-4 times a week for a year now, and she loves Aria like she's her own. I could not speak more highly of her. We love, Maria!”

About: I have 3 dogs of my own and have cared for many! For long periods or short periods, I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your pups. My house is completely dog proof at this point. They will definitely be in good hands! I started rover because as a pet parent, the thought of boarding my dog makes me so nervous. I really want to ease others minds and know their dog is in the hands of someone who LOVES to do this. I really enjoy making these dogs happy and seeing everyone run around and play. I truly treat them like my own, which is like my children! My husband and I work opposite shifts so there is always someone here with the pups for the most part. They are always kept separate unless supervised. There is a good chance you will meet my husband during pick ups or meet and greets. My dogs are very friendly and like playing with others. Each of my dogs are AKC certified CGC (canine good citizens). My yard is fenced in and completely secure. My house is doggy proof, no one is eating anything they shouldn’t on my watch! Everything that a dog could get into is put up. I have a pool opened in the summer with stairs that the dogs can go into, also separately fenced for the pups that can’t swim. Keeping a clean and sanitized house is important to me for my dogs and your dogs health. My couch covers are washed weekly and my floors and my dog’s crates are cleaned with kennel sol which kills most dog related illnesses. My dogs are vaccinated. You are more than welcome inside my house to see the set up!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for ten years. Four of these years in veterinary medicine. I am CPR certified and have experience bathing, grooming, pet sitting, bottle feeding, medicating, and overall caring and loving and playing with animals. I work a full time job in Richmond Kentucky at an emergency clinic! I would have to schedule pick ups and drop offs but that’s the biggest part. Your dog MUST be cat friendly. If they are not, I cannot accommodate as I have four and will not risk their well-being. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so I would have to leash walk but we are on two acres. I do have a dog park about 5 minutes from my home so I could transport there and back and that park IS fenced in. I am able to feed three times a day if needed and 2-3 potty breaks! Playtime is also important so I dedicate about 10-15 minutes twice a day (morning and night) for play. We have plenty of toys as well. For cats I have a separate room of the house they can call their own so I can only accommodate one kitty at a time as I have 4 cats myself.

About: I’m 26 and have been an animal lover my entire life! I’ve grown up surrounded by pets and can’t imagine life without them. I currently have two dogs of my own—a playful labradoodle and a sassy little corgi—who bring me so much joy. Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I treat every pet like they’re part of the family. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just some good old-fashioned snuggles, I’m here to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved. I work as a nurse three days a week, but I have plenty of flexibility on my days off to provide attentive, loving care for your pets. On the days I’m working, my partner is home and able to help with care as needed, so your pets will never be without attention. I’ll always make sure their routine stays consistent and they get all the love they deserve! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. My home is fully pet-proofed and set up to be a safe, cozy space where your furry friend can relax and feel at home. I also have a secure, fenced-in yard that’s perfect for supervised playtime and potty breaks. I make sure all interactions with my own dogs are closely monitored to ensure everyone gets along and feels safe. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I follow your instructions to the letter and do everything I can to keep your pet’s routine consistent. I’ll treat your home with respect and your pet like one of my own—with love, attention, and plenty of care.

About: I have lived with a variety of animals my whole life, and began regularly taking care of family and friends' dog and cats when I was 17. I am very attentive to the needs and body language of both dogs and cats, and adapt well to their unique behaviors and routines. I have experience with aloof/aggressive pets, senior pets, and young pets 6 months or older. I only work a couple days a week so I am comfortable with providing constant care to pets who cannot be left alone. I like to operate on a schedule so I am good about keeping up with bathroom breaks, feeding times, medications, etc. I am consistently available to care for your pets Sunday-Wednesday, and may frequently be available Thursday-Saturday as well (I do my best to update my calendar appropriately as far in advance as possible). I will request information about your pet's personality and care requirements prior to meeting with you. I ask that you allow me to meet your pet outside under your supervision before the stay begins, for both mine and your pet's safety and comfort.

About: I have been around and took care of animals most all my life. I currently have 4 dogs. A shih tzu, golden doodle, and two aussies. I have also had cats but recently ours has passed. Staci C.

“Let’s see where to begin. Staci is the only person I would trust outside of my immediate family to take care of my dogs. She is absolutely amazing with them and they love her so much. My little dog was paralyzed for awhile a couple of years ago and Staci was there to help him gain his strength back. He now runs and plays and loves her. She is ultimately trustworthy, kind, caring and safe. Anyone would be lucky to have her take care of their animals.”
