“Tabitha is an incredible sitter and companion for my dog Scout. I can see the care and detail she takes in playing with him and making him feel important. I travel a lot for work and it’s just me so it’s always stressful knowing I have to leave my dog behind. But I’m always assured he’s in great hands with Tabitha. Thank you for all that you do. It truly matters.”

“Madison is fantastic! Reliable, timely, and great with our dog. She was even able to help us in a pinch when we had an unexpected travel change! Thank you Madison!”

“He is wonderful! My dog loves him. He does a great job of being friendly and sweet with my animals but also keeps him in-line! He doesn't let him pull or run all over the place! He's also very respectful of my house and towards myself.”

“Priscilla has been watching Jake for almost a month now and she is great. Jake adores her, he loves walking and playing with her, and she takes great care of him. Priscilla communicates very well with me before and after she walks Jake, and she sends several pictures and video. She also asks a lot of questions about any special care or needs Jake might need. I can tell she really cares about Jake, and animals in general, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog walker/sitter”

“We've used Jaicy for a while now and she's incredibly reliable and cares greatly for our dogs. She boarded our last dog and walked him frequently. He loved spending time at her house and playing with her dogs. When we adopted our current dog I knew he'd be in good hands with Jaicy and he took right to her during our meet and greet.”

“A true dog lover ! So communicative and sweet. First person to ever watch my dog outside of my family and I really had peace of mind knowing he was okay. She goes above and beyond and my baby is always so tired after a walk with her”

About: UPDATE: WE’RE GETTING A FENCE ON 8/29! We’re lifelong dog lovers with two pups of our own. We’ve had many opportunities to care for our friends’ and neighbors’ dogs, so we’re experienced with different breeds and personalities. From post-surgery care to upset tummies - we’ve seen it all. Your pet will be treated like family! We work from home full-time, so we’re around throughout the day to give pets lots of attention, walks and care. We also tend to stay in on weekends, making it easy to stick to your pet’s routine and provide consistent companionship. In our home, your pet will get plenty of love and attention alongside our two friendly dogs for company. We can crate your dog if needed and always follow your care instructions. While we don’t have a fenced yard yet, it’s in our future plans - until then, all dogs will be leashed while outside and outdoor time is supervised. We also only host one family’s dogs at a time to ensure a calm, personalized experience for your pet.

“Mel is fantastic with Molly and Buz. She’s very flexible with my crazy schedule and ready to help with visiting family’s pets ranging from an American Lab to a couple of Boston Terriers. She also kept my plants going when I was unexpectedly out of town.”

About: As an avid animal lover, I've had extensive experience taking care of various pets of all ages and sizes. My experience ranges from the more common dogs and cats to birds, hedgehogs, lizards, horses, fish, etc. I've been fortunate enough to care for pets of my own and been entrusted with the care of pets belonging to friends and extended family. I've also had the opportunity to spend over a decade volunteering at animal shelters in central Maryland. As someone who has used Rover previously for petsitting services myself, I understand how nerve wracking it can feel to leave your loved one in the hands of someone new. You can rest assured that I will provide the same love and devotion to your pets as I do my own :) If you're interested in booking any services with me, I would love to do a meet and greet with you and your pets. This allows me to get acquainted with everyone and have a full understanding of their needs, habits and schedule to ensure the most positive experience for them. My schedule is open so I'm able to provide much more flexibility to accommodate your schedule and your pet's needs! Please see my calendar for specific availability :) While in my care, I can provide pictures and updates on how your pets are doing as often as you would like! Prior to providing any services, I would also love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet(s) prior to providing any services. This will allow me the chance to meet your pet(s) with you present and gain a full understanding of their needs, including dietary and medical (if applicable), habits and any preferences they may have. I will be sure to carefully follow all your instructions so I can ensure your pets have the safest, happiest time in my care :)

“Yeji came three time a day to walk Eilidh while I was recovering from surgery. She was friendly, communicative, and arrived on time. Most importantly, she treated my fur baby well, giving her affection and some much needed exercise/potty time. I will definitely reach out to Yeji if I ever need help again.”

About: Newer to Rover but very experienced dog walker/pet sitter. Very positive, kind, and patient. Familiar with many types of leashes, collars, and harnesses, and able to deal with dogs who pull. Have cared for and walked reactive and/or aggressive dogs. Available for ongoing services or one time/as needed. Dog and Cat First Aid certified by the Red Cross. Also experienced with puppies, seniors, and in dealing with surgical recovery limitations. Looking most for weekday dog walks or drops ins, and in-home boarding. Willing to do small amounts of training on walks (basic obedience, assisting with already started leash manners, treats/clicker, etc). Not willing to take dogs off leash (when off property) or to public dog parks. Comfortable dog walking in any non-emergency weather including rain and snow. Happy to put on dog raincoats, dog shoes, etc. Have also carried puppies in dog backpack carriers for short walks. For boarding situations, I have a half acre 4 bedroom house with a fenced yard (6 feet mostly, with a 5ft driveway gate). The yard has plenty of grass, a dog kiddie pool, lots of toys, a huge sandbox I built for digging, and lounging furniture on the back patio. I let dogs on most furniture in my home. I have 3 crates if that is desired or needed (one Xl wire, 1 XL fabric, 1 M wire, with beds/pads). I'm a non smoker and work part-time from home. I do already have an active 16 month old golden retriever who is very friendly to people and dogs. It would not be the best fit for a more tentative senior dog, or a dog-aggressive dog. House has tons of dog puzzles, toys, sniff mats, freezebones, kongs, pupsicles, flirt poles, etc for enrichment. I live in catonsville which has safe sidewalked suburban roads for walking, and I'm also extremely close to Patapsco state park for short hikes. I am not able to board cats for allergy reasons. I have a detailed and careful procedure for introducing boarding guests to my own dog. Contact me for more information about this procedure, and also for more details about a particular stay. I do ask for a detailed schedule for boarding guests. Boarded dogs receive plenty of supervised play time outdoors with my dog, plus several leash walks outside (distance varies based on dog's needs). I currently telework part-time some weekdays, so I am able to provide pet care almost any day/time of the week. For weekday dog walking or drop in visits, I am able to do 30 or 60 minute walks. I always make sure that items on counters are out of reach of pets. I ensure that doors and windows are locked when I am not home, and that pets are in their crate (or designated bedroom). I keep careful track of medication doses including writing down each administration in a log book. I can keep dogs crated during certain times if needed. I am respectful of the pet owner's wishes regarding pets on or not on furniture. I keep dogs away from other dogs while on walks and never have them off leash unless in the home or in a fenced yard. I also make sure to always use the correct collars, leashes, and harness when walking. I always have the owner's contact information, their emergency contact's information, and their vet's information on hand in case of emergency. I have made an effort to remove any potentially toxic plants from my yard, and fenced off a small pond to ensure no pet access. I bring treats on walks to reward good behavior and to offer a trade in case a dog picks up something off the ground on a walk. I have drinking water and large clean kiddie pool in the yard to stay cool, plus much of my yard is shaded. I have smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms throughout my home. I am the only person in my home during a boarding stay, and my own dog is the only other dog. I don't accept boarding bookings from multiple people at the same time. I take a lot of photos and provide a lot of updates to the owner, and take many steps to ensure a happy introduction to my own dog. Depending on the dog, I may also put up a couple of baby gates throughout my home to ensure safety.

About: I have been running around Catonsville taking care of friends and neighbors pets since I was 12. I love to see all their little snouts around and I try to say hi as often as I can. I love making sure your pets have the best company possible! I work part time and mornings, early afternoons, and late nights work best for me. I am super communicable so we will work out the best times that work for the both of us! I have a silver lab, Wally, but I don't bring him to your house unless you ask for a playdate with your dog, I would totally be open to that.

Esther & Yi L.
“I’ve known Esther for several years, and I can confidently say she’s one of the most thoughtful and responsible pet owners I know. Her two dogs, Peanut and Milk, are not only incredibly well-behaved but also so sweet and friendly, clearly a reflection of the love and care Esther gives them. She’s also helped take care of our cat, including feeding and giving medication, and she’s always been so gentle and careful. Odessa C.
“Odessa is so great with our dogs. We have had issues with people over the years not giving our dogs the attention and love they deserve, but this is not the case with Odessa. She is so kind and attentive that it filled us with so much joy when we saw her interact with them. We have one sleepy dog (lab) and one very active one (border collie). She handled both of their needs and personalities with such ease. We would recommend her to anyone as she is the best!!!!!”

Susan was a BLESSING for me and my dog when we needed a last minute check-in. She was so incredibly thorough and took great care to make sure she fit our routine and connected with Birdy. I recommend Susan to absolutely anyone who’s looking for competent care, a bubbly personality, and patience with an energetic and home-defending fuzz butt!!! We loved her!
