About: 🐾 More Than a Pet Sitter — A Lifetime of Love for Dogs ❤️ Hello! I'm a lifelong dog lover from Brazil, and caring for dogs has been one of the greatest joys of my life since childhood. Eight years ago, after losing my beloved dog Rebeca, I found myself struggling with the emptiness she left behind. I missed the little paws around the house, the happy greetings, and the unconditional love that only dogs can bring. Instead of letting my home remain quiet, I decided to open my own dog hotel in Brazil, creating a place filled with love, companionship, and wagging tails. What started as a way to bring that happiness back into my life soon became my greatest passion. For eight years, I cared for dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs, building hands-on experience and learning how important patience, kindness, and attention to detail are. Even after moving to Ireland, I knew I couldn't leave this passion behind. ❤️ Today, I share my home with my own little Lhasa Apso, Simba, who reminds me every day how much our dogs mean to us. As a dog owner myself, I understand that leaving your beloved pet in someone else's care requires trust. I want every owner to feel confident that their furry family member will be treated with the same affection and respect I give my own dog. 🐶 My experience and what I offer: - 8 years of professional dog care experience running my own dog hotel in Brazil. - Experience caring for senior dogs, understanding their need for extra patience, gentle handling, and individual attention. - Experience administering oral medication according to the owner's or veterinarian's instructions. - Loving, attentive dog walks tailored to each dog's pace, personality, and needs. - Home visits filled with companionship, playtime, feeding, fresh water, and updates for owners. - Access to emergency transport if needed, so I can help arrange prompt veterinary care when an urgent situation arises. I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved, and understood — never just looked after. Whether we're out enjoying a walk, spending time together during a home visit, or simply keeping your dog company while you're away, my goal is to make them feel comfortable and cared for. Rebeca was the reason I began this journey, and every dog I've cared for since has reminded me why I continue. My love for this work hasn't faded over the years; it has only grown stronger. Every wagging tail, every little paw, and every trusting cuddle means the world to me. ❤️🐾 I'd love to meet your furry best friend and give them the loving care they deserve. You can count on me to treat your dog not just as a pet in my care, but as a little member of my extended family. Because to me, caring for dogs has never been just a job. It's love, with four paws. 🐶❤️ 🕒 My Availability I'm available every day of the week! 🐾❤️ I attend classes from 1 PM to 5 PM, so I'm available in the mornings and again after 5 PM. I'm happy to arrange dog walks and home visits around my class schedule and will always do my best to find a time that works for you and your furry friend! 🐶💕 ❤️ Safety, Trust & a Loving Environment Your dog's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority. With 8 years of experience running my own dog hotel in Brazil, I understand how important it is to provide attentive, responsible, and loving care. As a dog owner myself, I know that pets are family. I treat every dog with patience, kindness, and respect, always paying attention to their individual needs, routines, and personality. During walks and home visits, I follow your instructions carefully, keep your dog safe, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection. I'm also experienced in caring for senior dogs and administering oral medication according to the owner's instructions. I believe trust is built through communication, reliability, and genuine love. I'll keep you updated during our time together, so you can feel reassured knowing your furry family member is in caring and experienced hands. 🐾❤️

FAQs for Pet Sitting - Tipperary

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Sitting in Tipperary on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per Visit (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or toilet breaks occurred, for doggy day care, home visits, and dog walking services. You can also message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available by email or chat if you have concerns.

Of course! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Tipperary pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Tipperary choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
