About: I’m an animal lover who understands how important it is to know your pets are happy, safe and well cared for when you’re away. Whether your pet loves walks and playtime or prefers a quiet cuddle and some company, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection. I’ll take the time to get to know their individual personalities, follow their usual routines and treat every pet as if they were my own. I work full-time, so I’m mainly available for pet care during evenings and at weekends. I’m happy to arrange visits and walks around my schedule and will always communicate clearly with owners in advance. I understand how important routine is for both cats and dogs and will do my best to make sure your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my priority. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep their routine as consistent as possible and make sure they have everything they need. I’ll take the time to understand their individual personalities, feeding requirements and any special care instructions. I’ll also keep you updated during visits so you can relax knowing your pets are in caring and reliable hands.
About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up with dogs, taking care of them is second nature. For the last 10+ years, I've dog sat and dog walked for friends, neighbours, colleagues, and when travelling abroad. I've minded energetic puppies, dogs post-surgery who needed TLC when their owners had to go to work, high-energy grown dogs in need of plenty of walks and play, and elderly dogs needing a gentle stroll and cuddle. I've had my own dog, Inis, since he was 9 weeks old. He's almost 8 years old now and I've cared for him from energetic and nervous rescue puppy through to adult macho male phase and now to slightly older and slower hips. My priority is giving care and attention to your doggo no matter what stage they're at. I'm currently working flexible hybrid hours full-time. This means I can bring your dog for a walk or pop into them at lunch time or the afternoon for a house visit. I'm also available at selected weekends and evenings if you need a dog sitter while you're away. When pet sitting in your home, I make sure to take note of your house and dog rules so that your dog feels safe, and their routine stays the same.
About: I'm an animal lover and have always been around animals all my life. I own 2 rescue dogs who I treat like my babys. I have a secure garden , many different walkway facilities near me. I will keep you at ease by sending updates and pictures and treat them like my own while in my care. All dogs will sleep indoors ,no kennels or cages , a home away from home. I am available for dog sitting and walkies more than boarding in my own house currently for now. That will hopefully change soon. I'm new to this site, I have minded friends and family pets so I would love to help anybody out with minding their dogs and put their mind at ease knowing they are in the best care while your away. I live in Mullingar in an end house of a cul de sac, I have a secure garden that's quiet big for your dogs to run around and play.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for Pet Sitting in Mullingar on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per Visit (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting.
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or toilet breaks occurred, for doggy day care, home visits, and dog walking services. You can also message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available by email or chat if you have concerns.
Of course! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.
Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Mullingar pet parents with similar pet households.
Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.
Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.
For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Mullingar choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
