About: I grew up in Clare where we raised and bred greyhounds for racing. We always had dogs in the house and often had to walk some of them three times daily. I have also lived and cared for multiple dogs since moving away from home. I am working for a company with a very flexible working from home policy so I typically work from home 90% of the time. Living so close to the canal/ Castletown I like to get out for a walk every lunch/ afternoon so would like to bring some of your dogos out with me. I have a walled medium sized back garden to keep your dog safe. Also, happy to house your dog indoors and can facilitate your crate if preferred.

“Nala had another fantastic stay with Dylon and Seána! They handled all her craziness and constant zoomies, kept me updated, and took amazing care of her. She was so excited to go back, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!”

About: I have had dogs in my life since I was born - from collies, to greyhounds. The latest dog in my life was our beloved miniature schnauzer, Izzy, who passed away 6 years ago after the best and happiest life ever. I’m originally from Kerry, but since moving to Dublin 10 years ago, there has been a lack of dog in my life, which is why I would love to take care of your pet!! I live with my partner - we have no dogs and no children, so your pet would receive the full attention it deserves :) I am available to walk / dog sit your pet from 2pm - 8pm most weekdays and weekends! Just send me a message and we can work out our availability together! I offer dog sitting in my own home, which I live in with my partner. We have no other pets and no children. We would have no visitors when your pet stays, so they get nothing but full-attention. We also have a fully-enclosed back garden, so your pet will have space to stretch their legs!

“I was a bit nervous leaving Luna with someone new but Jenny and Maxi totally put my mind at ease. They took her on loads of walks and made sure she got plenty of playtime. But honestly the best part was how much they communicated. I was getting updates and photos and videos constantly, which meant I wasn't stressed at all while I was away. You could tell they treated Luna like their own baby, and honestly I think she was a bit spoiled! She came home absolutely knackered from all her walks and so happy. Already booked them again because I know she's in the best hands. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy dog minders!”

About: Hi! I’m based in Clonsilla, Dublin 15, and I absolutely love dogs. I have my own 11-month-old Cockapoo, who’s full of energy and loves making new furry friends! I’ve been around dogs all my life. I had a wonderful companion for 14 years before he sadly passed away. I also have experience volunteering at a local dog shelter, where I helped care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've also fostered many dogs from the DSPCA. In addition, I’ve often minded friends’ dogs while they were away, so I understand how important it is to make every pup feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are gone. Your dog will be cared for in a comfortable home environment, with plenty of walks, cuddles, and attention. I treat every dog like part of the family ❤️ The easiest way to check availability is to send me a quick message with your dates. I reply quickly and am happy to confirm 😊 I work part-time, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for dogs throughout the day. I have my own 8-month-old Cockapoo who gets regular walks, playtime, and lots of attention — so any dog staying with me will get the same love and care! My home is calm, comfortable, and full of affection for four-legged visitors. Dogs in my home are treated just like part of the family. My own dog is very safe, loved, and well cared for, and I make sure any visiting dog receives the same attention and affection. I provide regular walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day, along with plenty of time to rest and relax in a calm, comfortable environment.

About: I have been working for Pet sitting Ireland over three years and I’m a devoted animal lover. I have great responsibility to look after different kind of animals. I love dogs and enjoy the time walking and playing together. Different dogs have different personalities and I will try to understand them and give them the care and love they need! I have been doing dog sitting and dog walking a lot and I love to run with them and interact with them. I believe dogs need lots of outdoor time and they need to spend energy in the nature. They will be much more happier and calmer when they get enough exercise and attention. I have been working for Petsitters Ireland over a year and has been very responsible and accountable. I can walk different kinds of dogs, big or small. I know how to build up connections with different dogs in my own way and the secret is love.

About: I especially enjoy caring for small, friendly female dogs, as I have a little Chihuahua girl of my own at home and would love for her to have a gentle companion to play with. 🐾💕 Pet care fits well into my routine, and I’m available all week until 3pm, with full-day availability on Tuesdays,Wednesdays and Thursdays. I’m home-based and can give dogs plenty of attention, care, playtime and company throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm and loving home environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I always supervise dogs, keep their food and routine consistent, and make sure they rest and relax. I’m also very mindful of doors, gates and anything they could get into, especially with small dogs. Most importantly, I treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own Chihuahua.

About: Hello families, nice to meet you! I'm Esther, I'm 24 years old and I'm here in Ireland on a stamp 4 visa. I'm a childminder, content creator and I'm looking for an extra petsitter position. I've always liked animals, in 2019 I took a course to become a veterinary assistant, I didn't work in the area because then the pandemic came. However, I always had a dog the entire time I lived in Brazil, I have two girls “Dora” and “Duda” who live with my family in Brazil. I am very affectionate, attentive and I really want to learn more and more. I live in Lucan in a good apartment with my husband, so I am able to receive your pet at my house. My apartment has a good space and area to walk around the building too. I offer affection, attention, walks, I can teach commands that I learned to do to practice with my dogs in Brazil as this uses more energy than the walks themselves. Feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to help you. Thank you so much!! I work from home (by my own) so I have plenty of time to play, go out and etc. I stay alone all day so your pet will be a company for me too. Occasionally I care child’s in my house but I have security gate. I like to ask about dogs owner expectations and follow it, adding my knowledge too and always respecting your pet conditions. I have references from families and a verified profile on “Pawshake” pet sitter app.

About: Hello! My name is Angri. and I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life, fostering a deep-rooted passion and understanding for our best friends. Growing up with dogs, I developed an innate connection and love for them, which has shaped my life's journey. Back in my home country, I dedicated many years to volunteering at local shelters, providing care and support to dogs in need. This experience led me to become a foster home, where I opened my doors to dogs of various breeds and ages, offering them a temporary safe haven until they found their forever homes. Moving to Ireland I start to help few friends with their dogs while they were away. Now I decided to offer boarding and daycare services from my own home where your dogs will be kept inside and have free access to sleep in the couch or one of the 5 dog beds around the house. With a great closed back garden and access to a wide range of parks and green areas (St Catherine’s, Phoenix, Latchford and Hazelbury Park area), your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise and outdoor fun, with the best pals Shadow and Jinx. Whether you need a trusted place for your dog to stay while you're away or a safe environment for them during the day, I am here to provide the love and care your dog deserves. I look forward to meeting your best friend and ensuring they have a wonderful time in a comfortable and trustful environment.

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover and the proud owner of two cats who keep my days full of character and cuddles. For several years, I worked as a pet sitter in China through Sparelash (a popular pet care and sitting platform), where I earned many positive reviews from happy pet parents. Whether it's a bouncy dog who needs a good walk or a shy cat who just wants quiet company, I get them. I'm patient, caring, and genuinely tuned in to each animal's moods. Above all, I know how much trust you place in a sitter, and I treat that trust — and your pet — with the care it deserves. I offer walking, playtime, feeding, medication, and home sitting, treating every pet like my own. I'm currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week to give pets the attention they deserve. I'm available for boarding at the owner's home most days, so your pet can stay relaxed in their own familiar surroundings while you're away. I'm happy to take dogs out for walks anytime after 10am, with playtime, feeding, and cuddles fitting naturally around the rest of my day. Whether it's a quick check-in or a full day of company, I make sure pets never feel lonely. Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or at the owner's, safety and comfort always come first. I keep a close eye on pets at all times, make sure the space is secure before letting dogs off-lead, and stick to the routines and feeding instructions owners share with me. I'm careful to keep doors and gates shut, store anything harmful out of reach, and watch for any signs a pet might be unwell or anxious. When boarding at an owner's home, I respect their space and keep things clean and tidy, leaving everything as I found it. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely at ease, knowing their companion is in safe, attentive hands.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost of Doggy Day Care in Maynooth is €36 per day as of November 2026. Most bookings cost between €29 and €39 per day.

On Rover, sitters set their own rates based on factors such as their experience, the length of care, the number of pets and your pet’s specific needs. As long as your booking dates and pet profiles are accurate, the pri ce s hown before you confirm is the total, including any booking fee.

As of November 2026, there are 410 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across the city of Maynooth. About 83% typically respond to requests within 60 minutes.

Enter your address and booking dates to see which sitters are available near you. You can also message multiple sitters to improve your chances of finding the right care.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your working day. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalised environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-to-one attention, and same-day collection and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose 'can host' section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socialising needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters 'Doesn't own a dog' and 'Only accepts one pet at a time' to find the right care.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Depending on the sitter, their home environment and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities or supervised play with compatible dogs. Every sitter on Rover has their own routine and some may offer flexible activities suited to your dog. 82% of sitters in your city can provide daily exercise during dog boarding bookings.

These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the booking so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Many sitters on Rover can help with collection and drop-off! You can find the cost of collection and drop-off in their profile under 'See additional rates'.

If you found a day care close to your home in Maynooth, you can also explore dog walking as an add-on service, which allows your sitter to collect or drop off your dog from their home to yours. Add your location to the search field to find sitters near you and message them directly about transport alternatives.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three- or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-in visits, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
