“Aaron stayed in my home for two weeks looking after my diabetic older cat. While my cat is not on insulin, it was such a comfort for me knowing Aaron was there and he took great care of him! I believe Aaron has a way with animals and befriended my shy kitty after a day or two. I knew I had made the right decision when we returned and my cat was very content. About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! I try to have what is best for my animals including fenced in yards and proper food, cages, and medicines. Although I do not offer boarding, I will make absolutely certain your animals stay safe in my care!

About: I love animals and have had pets as far back as I can remember. I currently have 3 dogs, two shih Tzu's and a labor doodle. I enjoy spending free time playing outside with them. I work from home, so i spend countless hours with my pups and play with them on breaks and lunches. My wife also works part time and is able to play with our dogs along with taking them outside in our fenced in back yard. Unfortunately going forward I can no longer take drop offs or pick ups after 1030pm est or before 9am. This is due to my 1 year old son who requires a full night's rest. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For some reason if you cannot make that time frame please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate your situation. I have a fenced in backyard for your dog to roam around and play in. I also have 3 other dogs they could play with.

About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I am currently in summer break from my university and I have a rather flexible schedule! My hours available may change depending on the week, but I will have plenty of time to play with your pet! Once my school semester begins, I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 5 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

About: I’ve grown up with childhood dogs of all kinds from tiny chihuahuas and mini labradoodles to big breeds like Saint Bernards. I’ve learned that every dog is different, and their care really depends on their breed, personality, and routine. I’ve helped care for my siblings’ pets, looked after cats and dogs for neighbors, and I’m confident handling different energy levels, sizes, and needs. I’m also a runner, so I love taking active dogs on longer walks, but I’m just as happy keeping older or more anxious pets company and making sure they feel safe and calm. I’m currently working two on-campus jobs this summer, but I still have plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’m usually available for dog walks or check ins in the mornings, late afternoons, or early evenings, depending on the day. I’m great at keeping a routine and following instructions closely, and I’ll always make sure your pet is cared for on time. I live in a quiet campus dorm that’s clean, calm, and pet-safe. There’s nothing harmful lying around, and I’m happy to let pets on the bed or bring in a dog bed if needed. It’s a simple space, but I make sure it’s comfortable and welcoming. I’ll take your pet out for regular walks and give them plenty of attention while they’re here.

About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

About: Hi I’m McKenna! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 13 and absolutely adore furry friends. I’d love to provided cuddles & care to your pet. I’m currently a enrolled at App State and looking for a way to make some pocket change. My hometown is Waynesville, NC and i’m always up to visit. I will be in single apartment at the Finmore in Boone next fall which will open more opportunities for me to pet sit. There are beautiful trails here in Boone and surrounding Waynesville. What’s a better way to get some exercise than with a furry friend. Dogs will be leashed at all times when taken on walks and will be in a safe environment away from any high traffic areas. I also know those post cat nap zoomies can get a little crazy, so i’d love to spend time with your kitty and THEIR favorite toys haha.

About: I have grown up volunteering in my local humane society, but have been working in dog daycare for the past 2 years. I also have experience caring for other pets including cats, fish, and even lizards! I offer both walking and house sitting services, but will also train basic commands upon request. My schedule is pretty open as I am home for summer break and am available at any point throughout the day. I am a college student so I will be gone for some parts of the year, but am available when I am home for breaks. my main priority with caring for dogs is to make sure they are as happy and healthy as possible. that can look a variety of ways depending on the dog, but i prefer to offer endless snuggles and training of some sort to provide the perfect amount of stimulation.

About: Dogs are my biggest passion! I used to be a shift leader at a doggie day care in Florida. I have experience working with hundreds of dogs of all sizes. My days there included paying close attention to detail and learning the characteristics of each dog. I worked with dogs of all ages puppies to seniors. I was in charge of watching and caring for big groups of dogs. Feeding all the dogs lunch and of course lots of playtimes! I am new to rover and have lots of open availability for your pups!
