About: I've cared for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, giving medication, and providing enrichment through play. I'm comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and sizes, and I prioritize a safe, nurturing environment. I've also volunteered at animal shelters and helped neighbors with pet care while they were away. Growing up in a large household with pets taught me the importance of responsibility and companionship. I'm flexible with rates based on care needs and time commitments. I’m excited to be your pet’s new best friend! I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time available to care for fur babies! I’m very adaptable based on care needs and am happy to be flexible for each family. My focus is always on keeping your pet happy, safe, and comfortable. I follow their routine, give plenty of attention, and make sure they’re getting whatever care or exercise they may need.

About: I love animals! I was raised around animals all of my life. My parents had a hobby farm, complete with dogs, cats, chickens, goats, cows, emu's, sheep, ducks, pigs, etc. We bred and raised dogs of all kinds: huskies, dalmatians, chihuahuas, beagles, labs, golden retrievers, pugs, and so on. Since my childhood, I've helped feed, care for, and even administer medicine to our animals. I moved to Lexington KY in the Fall of 2010 and decided to take care of others' furry friends while they're away. I started and ran my own dog walking and pet sitting business for 7 years. I ended up closing down to do some traveling. But I sure miss getting out and spending time with my furry friends. Whether you're at work, on vacation, or just out for the day, it will be my Joy to take care of your pets. From midday walks and home visits, to puppy breaks and house sittings, I'll treat your pet as my own, and make sure they get plenty of lovin'. “Do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.” That’s what I try to live by. About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! I try to have what is best for my animals including fenced in yards and proper food, cages, and medicines. Although I do not offer boarding, I will make absolutely certain your animals stay safe in my care!

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: I’ve lived on a farm with lots of animals big and small so watching your pet would be a breeze. I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: I have experience with lots of different animals. I have dogs of my own and I also have a farm. I have 10+ years of experience. I work part time and would have lots of time to care for your babies. My dog and I have a daily routine and would love to add your pet into our day. I have a large fenced in yard with lots of room to play. I would make sure to ask boundaries about your home and pet, to meet the pets needs to your expectations.

About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.

About: I grew up in Wyoming where I was a member of 4-H for ten years. I raised pigs and rabbits for show and also grew up with two cats and a corgi at home. I have experience giving medication to each of these animals and even some experience giving injections. My husband, Orlando, and I love animals and work most of our Rover appointments together. At home we have two cats and a hedgehog! I’m pretty flexible and almost always have time in the mornings and in the evenings after 4 to stop by and check on/walk/play with pets. I am happy to housesit during the week or on weekends. While housesitting I am happy to make time for daily walks and try to be attentive to when your pet needs to go out. I’m very flexible and try to leave every home as I found it or better! If your pet has toys I will always engage in play time and try to keep them happy and entertained.

About: Dogs are my biggest passion! I used to be a shift leader at a doggie day care in Florida. I have experience working with hundreds of dogs of all sizes. My days there included paying close attention to detail and learning the characteristics of each dog. I worked with dogs of all ages puppies to seniors. I was in charge of watching and caring for big groups of dogs. Feeding all the dogs lunch and of course lots of playtimes! I am new to rover and have lots of open availability for your pups! I occasionally travel to Mooresville for a pet sitting/house sitting gig. Other than that I am in Boone full time. I prioritize the well-being and happiness of every pet I care for.
