Dog Walkers in Howe, IN

About: There has never been a time in my life where I was not a doting caregiver for at least one dog in my home. I am proficient in any tasks included in caring for any canine! This includes poop scooping, accident clean-up, brushing, adhering to feeding and walking schedules, and more. I am also open to, and comfortable with, medical situations such as administering medications or accommodating the needs of a disabled/older dog. Above all else, I challenge myself always to allow dogs, and all animals, to find a space of comfort around me. I volunteer several times a week caring for dogs at local animal shelter, and I will soon be seeking employment there. This opportunity has allowed me to gain experience being comfortable with dogs of varying sizes and temperaments on walks and maintenance. I'm currently home from college for the summer, and right now work part-time in pharmacy, and part-time at the animal shelter while making time for Rover bookings. With that being said, my schedule is pretty flexible! Both my workplaces are very understanding that my schedule can be odd and adjustments can and will be made to provide the best care possible for your pet(s). Due to the presence of one dog who does not like strangers at my home, I only offer dog walks and drop-ins currently! I have worked in a variety of home environments and am willing to work in any situation. My phone is on at all times for owner concerns, and I am willing to send pictures of the animal at request! I strictly follow rules and guidelines pertaining to animal care, and aim to make it a comfortable and positive space for me, the animal(s) and the owner at all times.

About: For several years I owned a Doggy B and B where the dogs were part of my family. There were no cages or crates which the owners really appreciated. They slept in bed with me, jumped and lounged on all the furniture, watched TV, ate plenty of homemade treats, went swimming in the pool and don't forget the car rides to the park and river. Every weekend I would shop for new, safe and tough toys. We celebrated holidays and birthdays with homemade pupcakes, presents and costumes. They also got a "report" card saying how their day was and what they did that day or weekend. There were lots of pictures taken and shared too. Areas and toys were thoroughly inspected each day to ensure a safe and fun playtime. I love pets! All kinds of them. Your pet will get my undivided attention. I bring toys & treats plus send lots of pictures while you're away. That way you can enjoy our pawty too. Since I can't have pets in my home, I'll come to your pet's home. I care for them like they are mine. Give them lots of pets, play with toys inside & outside, walk them on a leash several times a day, watch TV with them & most importantly, share the bed at night. I want your pet to feel comfortable & loved by me.

About: I’ve had dogs for over 10 years, especially small dogs, as well as cats for the last three. I enjoy taking care of all creatures, great and small, and I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking. I do have a standard 9 to 5 jobs, but they are OK with pets in the building. I am easily able to take them outside for potty break. I have a neighborhood with only one entrance before cars, and is extremely safe. It is the perfect area to go for a walk. About: I am an outgoing, active, and loving person who prides herself in going above and beyond for animals and people. I aim to please and make the time away from your animals as easy as possible with no worries on the attention and care they get from me. I am currently a stay at home mom with a very flexible schedule and can fit anything into my schedule. I would like to keep my clients close to home for emergency purposes and also to keep costs down for everyone. About: I am very caring and will provide a family like atmosphere. I will make sure the best possible care is given, i have been pet sitting since i was 10 years old for family and friends. I have 1 cats currently. I am a mother to a 7 year old boy, a 2 year old boy and have my cousins 7 year old daughter. I have experience with animals with social and separation anxiety . I have dealt with special needs animals as well. I am a huge animal lover and will always make sure that every animal is treated as kindly as possible. I will always make sure you will not being walking in on a mess or a hyper active dog who just wants to play when you would much rather rest after a long day. About: I have grown up taking care of many different dogs and cats most of my life. Walking, feeding, grooming and playing! We have boarded animals for family and friends many times. We have lots of love and attention to give your pets when you need help! We currently do not have any other cats of dogs in the home unless we are pet sitting to give more attention to your animals! Any food, crates or specifics you have for us to use while having your animal we will keep safe and separate for easy transfer. We have a clean home and smoke free!

About: I have experience in working in a vet clinic and on a local farm of large animals. I have been trained to minister care for all cats/dogs of all breeds/sizes. If your pet has any health issues such as diabetes or has hit senior years, no worries! New puppy paws running around? Glad to be of assistance to help them learn better manners and play til the nap! I am a full time student at Michigan State University but am off for the summer! I am very flexible and can provide care for your pets around my schedule. I’m free on the weekends as well. I am in the Kalamazoo area until August 14th, 2025 due to having to go back to school for clinicals. Since I am not able to keep your pets in my home due to space, I will treat your home with all respect. If you have places and boundaries that are set, they will be followed accordingly. If your pet or myself makes a mess, it will be cleaned up immediately! I have a pet cleaner machine and products to get pet stains out in a jiffy!

About: Throughout my life I have cared for two cats and a Bichon-Frise/Poodle Mix. I was involved in caring for my dog from the day he came to us: showing him how to use stairs within those first couple of days and teaching commands for the next couple of years. Inevitably he aged, and over time I developed a familiarity with handling the many facets of caring for an aging dog: arthritis, anxiety, mobility challenges, and mood shifts. I learned the tricks for keeping him calm in the car, and those for getting him to take his medications. In all those years I consistently played with him in our fields, took him for walks, and ignored his grouching when I bumped him in his sleep. I love all animals very much, but as an innately energetic person, and as someone who is convinced (like most) that I had the best dog in the world, I find I bond most quickly and most deeply with dogs. I would be thrilled to meet yours. I am a recent college graduate looking for work while I job search. During the day I apply to jobs on my computer. Then, at night, I apply to jobs on my computer. My schedule is almost entirely open. In general I do my best to follow the pet's pace/lead, prioritizing the animal's comfort whenever possible. I follow provided schedules in a regimented manner, and if a schedule is not provided, then I will develop one myself. I take things like medication management and potty breaks very seriously, aware that when an owner is gone, pets are often stressed, and this stress can exacerbate pain and/or behavioral struggles. Regardless of the weather I am always happy to move and be active, so regular walks/exercise with pets is no trouble. As a pet lover, quality time is never an inconvenience either. I am more than thrilled, if your pet is more of a lounger than a runner, to just sit with them and relax.

About: I grew up around dogs and have often been tasked with dog sitting, walking, playing, basically anything. Most of my family are dog people, and I was in charge of a lot for my childhood dog. I work nights, so I’m available during those busy days when you can’t find the time! I’m the perfect flexible carer during this hectic summer. About: I am a senior at 65 years old who is available for different time frames to assist you with your pet care needs, dependable, responsible. I can do visitations for your Dogs n Cats, no overnight stays or in house sitting. Thank You~! Currently, at home I take care of my 2 adults cats and one kitten now 10 mths old. Spoiled, very well loved, and cared for. I was a prior dog owner over 65 years of 3 dogs who lived long healthy lives. My cats are indoors, they have a rolling pet crate/pen used outside at times when weather permits. I live rural so its not safe for them to be indoor/outdoor cats. I had dogs all of my life and 3 dogs who were my babies for very long time. A lab for 16 years. A bassador for 13 years. And as a child 4 different dogs. All were well cared for even when having to move to an apartment after a divorce my dogs were often sent to doggie day care and also we visited pet parks as frequently as possible.

About: I have grown up with tons of animals I have had so many dogs growing up from blood hound to labs to rat terriers to Boston! I love dogs and cat! I am a nursing major, so during the summer I’m pretty much free! I have a wedding over summer but other than that nothing else! I would like clear instructions from the owners of what they are like with other animals as well as the dogs normal routine so I can perform it to the best of my ability!

About: I’ve taken care of small, medium, and large dogs my whole life as well as a big variety of cats and kittens. I love them and they tend to flock towards me. I’ve very reliable as I never would want a fur baby to go uncared for ever. I currently create my own schedule and I would love nothing more than to fill my time taking care of and loving your fur babies! I’ve always been taught that you leave a person’s home better than when you arrived. When letting me into your home to care for your pet(s), I treat everything and everyone with care and respect as I would want you to trust me with not only your home but essentially a member of your family.

About: I’ve always been around animals, and my family has owned several pets since I was around 12; everything from german shepherds to frogs and fishes. I’ve helped train, care for, and love all of our animals. I know what it takes to discipline, but also care for pets, while creating an environment that your animal is comfortable in. My outside experience mostly includes dog sitting for friends and neighbors, though I do not discriminate when it comes to any 4-legged furry friend! I currently work part-time nights and am in nursing school. This allows me to have most weekends off, a couple of days off during the week, and most nights. Creating safety and trust with animals is always key. With new animals, I’m always sure to let them sniff me out and feel the vibes before we move along with anything else. I am able to supply treats, leashes, or garbage backs if needed when walking dogs.

I have become my church and friends' go-to pet sitter for years. I not only provide the love and care that pets need, I am also a licensed pet massage therapist, so your pet will get extra love! About: I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs but and small ranging between chihuahuas to Great Danes. Another plus is for the past year I’ve been a dog groomer so my range of dogs is very high, I’ve had all ages of dogs. I’m currently wanting to make this my full time job and am available pretty much anytime right now! I love dog and cat and would love to take care of all different kinds. I have 2 dogs a toy poodle and a pitbull mix they are both very friendly and great with new dogs and love to play. They would be amazing to keep your dog company.
