Benny was so well cared for I am not sure he even missed us. We highly recommend her and would definitely use her again. Benny says Mahalo and sends his love.”

About: I have had pets since I was 2 years old, and growing up with them made me develop an unconditional passion. I decided to turn this love into “work”, I created a treats brand, and I also take care of the puppies as if they were my own. I have Monday and Tuesday off, so I can take care of puppies all day. My main job starts at 4 pm, from Wednesday to Sunday, so I have the morning free to play and take care of them 🥰 Tell me more about your pet, I’ll meet all their needs and I also guarantee that I’ll offer lots of affection and love. We will be best friends 🩵

About: Local to Big Island for the last 6 years, based in upper palisades but willing to travel up to 25 miles. I have 10+ years of animal experience - beginning with volunteering at my local humane society and animal shelters at the age of 16, to training service dogs for children with autism for National Service Dogs and later on becoming a certified dog trainer. While completing my undergraduate degree I worked at 2 different pet stores and dog walked & dog sat for cash on weekends. I have been house/dog sitting regularly for 4+ years for two local families - one of which with 3 elderly wiener dogs and the other with two high energy samoyed puppies turned adult pups. My undergraduate degree is in Animal Biology, and my graduate degree is in Animal Behaviour & Welfare - both completed at University of Guelph in Canada where I was born. Although my specialization was in African penguins, I have lots of love for fluffier animals too. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 3+ years as a vet assistant/technician, but since moving back to Hawaii I’ve moved into the tourism industry. I am comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and have experience working with dogs of all breeds and ages. I’m currently working part time in the tourism industry, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to accommodate Rover care needs for my clients. With plenty of experience pet sitting and house sitting, I realize that every situation is going to be slightly different — I try to match what the pets are used to first and foremost, the walks pet owners tend to take their dogs on and do activities that are already a part of the pets routine. Though I never let dogs off leash while dog sitting, even if owners usually do; the possibility of losing a pet is not something I’m comfortable with, so better safe than sorry.

About: With over 40 years of experience caring for animals, my love for pets is a lifelong devotion. I’ve shared my home and heart with dogs and cats throughout my life, and I’ve been a trusted pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience with animals of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—including senior pets and those needing extra tenderness or special care. In addition to hands-on experience, I bring a calm, grounded presence and a deep sensitivity to the emotional needs of animals. I’m trained in energy healing and often incorporate gentle, calming energy into my care when appropriate—helping pets feel safe, seen, and loved while their humans are away. My approach is intuitive, attentive, and heart-centered. I treat each pet as the unique soul they are, and I feel truly honored to care for them. I work from home a lot and I have the freedom to be available and present full-time. I’m devoted to being with your pet providing all their needs. I prefer to provide care in the clients home but I can also bring your pet to my home. I have a big yard and a deck that is fenced. Pets will are welcome.

“Ann was wonderful! She was able to sit for us on short notice and made sure she had time to come meet us and the pups ahead of time. She sent lots of pictures while we were gone! We will definitely keep her in mind for future dog-sitting needs.”

I work part-time but my shifts are never longer than five and a half hours. I am only available to come to your home and care for your animals' needs there + take them out for walks. Cats, dogs, horses, tortoises, rabbits, fish, you name it :) I am a very dedicated and loving caregiver, and I attribute much of that to my upbringing; being surrounded by animals my whole life, as well as being a mother and an empath. I am both a very clean and organized individual, and will leave your home and furry friend cleaner than when you left. Mahalo for choosing Pawsitively Bee Pet Care and supporting my business! Feel free to message for any additional questions :) Pet sitting is our main gig! Your furry friend will be fully immersed into our schedule as if they were one of our own. Ohana furever We have a fenced yard and our own puppy to keep your pup company:) We also provide grooming services, photography, play, feeding, walks and a whole lot of love!

About: I'm a friendly 32 year old animal lover. My husband and I spent years fostering cats, and now have a kitty of our own (we found her in a tree when we moved to the island a year ago). I grew up with dogs, and frequently care for my brother's dog (she's a classic island dog - mid-sized, mixed breed). I'm especially excited to take your pets on walks - even cats if they're up for it! I like jungle hikes and beach walks of all sorts. Of course for older dogs, I’m always on board for some relaxed cuddle time too. I also have several years of nanny experience, babysitting and house sitting. Happy to take care of other types of pets, or your children too (find me on Care)! I have another gig Monday-Thursday, 6am-2pm. Otherwise free! hit me up earlier for weekends, as I tend to make plans ahead of time. You'll find me caring for my kitty all hours of the day and often caring for my brother's dog (we all live on the same property). Giving them lots of love! I'd love to cuddle with your pets, but I also know how to take care of those that can be nervous or shy (I have a ton of experience with that from fostering). I also have lots of experience giving meds to pets. I'll certainly give them the best care possible.
