We were in town for a tournament and he was very understanding when our last game ran into double overtime causing us to be 1/2hr late for pick up. I needed a last minute sitter for a trip and it was seamless getting a meet and greet scheduled. The meet and greet was quick, and my pup and I felt comfortable right away. It was a no brainer to accept her as our sitter. She sent photos throughout the day and informed me of any and everything that happened. You can really tell that this is not her first rodeo with dogs or humans because everything was so easy. While at daycare, my plans changed and I needed to board my pup for the night. So I asked and my request was granted within a few minutes. Alexcis is really phenomenal at was she does so when I’m in Augusta again, she will be my go-to sitter if she’s available. So, If you’re deciding between her and someone else, choose Alexcis. My main concern when I put my pup in the care of someone else is if my timid pup will be okay and she was comfortable immediately. That says a lot about the atmosphere and the people taking care of the atmosphere. 10/10. 5/5 stars. ♥️”

About: I've had dogs of all sizes and ages since childhood. My husband faithfully walks the dogs at least once a day. We have two small dogs who love to play and run. We would love to have your dogs here with us well-taken care of while you are away! Tessa is a stay-at-home mom who occasionally babysits or subs at school. If we accept your reservation, she will be here at home to take care of the dogs as needed. We have a fully fenced yard. We usually leave our doggie window open except in extreme weather, so your dog can go in and out as desired. We have a dachshund mix and a shiz tsu/ poodle who would love to keep your dog company

I accept one dog at a time. 🐶 I have a dog, Dolly, who is 9 years old and very sweet — she is getting older and becoming less patient with hyper dogs which is why I'm only accepting older dogs or those with a similar temperament. 🏡 My home is 100% dog friendly — they will have access to couches, a fully fenced backyard perfect for sunbathing and running around, and a sunroom where they can relax even if the weather is bad. I work from home full time and have a flexible schedule. 🌿 As an avid walker, I enjoy taking long walks and will give your dog opportunities throughout the day for a good walk around the neighborhood, or if they're up for it, along the Augusta Canal which is accessible from our house. ✨ I always let dogs set the pace and give them time to sniff as much as their heart desires — sniffing and exploring can be as physically exhausting as running! ⭐️ Dogs are always kept on leash during walks to ensure their safety and minimize risks. Dogs can be unpredictable, so I avoid interactions with unfamiliar dogs. I don’t do dog parks. 💊 I am experienced and comfortable in administering medications of all forms. Your pet's health and safety are my top priorities, and I will follow any necessary guidelines or instructions with precision and care. I am First Aid Certified for Dogs and Cats with the American Red Cross. 🩺 take great care to ensure that the pets receive their medications on time and in a stress-free manner. It takes some animals a while to warm up to a new person administering medication, so I'm happy to take my time the first few visits. ⏰ I work from home on a very flexible schedule and have freedom to structure my day as needed. Your pet will never be left alone longer than an hour if I have an errand I need to run! 📸 Communication is key and I'll always keep you informed about your furry companions. I provide regular updates, including photos and detailed notes, so you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is well cared for. Your dog will have access to all surfaces in the home — whatever makes them comfortable! I separate your dog from mine during feedings to make sure no accidents happen — my dog can be snippy around food so I take precautions whenever it's meal or snack time.
