About: My name is Emiko, I’ve been living on Maui for awhile now but new to Rover. I have a spaniel mix pup named Zephyr (after the wind in The Odyssey bc he runs like the wind), and grew up with both dogs and cats my whole life. I love animals and the healing energies they bring in their personalities and just love how funny they are. Getting a dog has been one of the most healing things in my life, he is literally my best friend, baby and side kick and I understand finding someone who will take the upmost care for your pet is a crucial decision. Especially if they come with baggage or little quirks (Zephyr is a rescue) or they need extra care like medication, etc. I will take care of your pets like they’re my own—feeding, walking, playing, following any other additional instructions and giving them lots of love to feel safe and happy 🤍 I am currently phasing out of my part time job that is three days a week to working remotely from home full time. Currently on the days I work, I will only be available for drop ins early morning by 8AM or after work at 7 PM Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow instructions closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure your pet feels secure and loved at all times. I’m attentive to their body language and needs, and I never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I’ll treat your pet like family—with patience, care, and lots of affection. You can trust that they’re in safe, reliable hands with me.

With over a 40 year diverse, holistic & professional background (massage therapy, medical medium, nutrition, Bowen Therapy) for treating people towards their own healing; I also found it only made sense to get trained to administer massage therapy (small animals and equine) & The Bowen Technique (respected as a medical modality in most countries; that originated out of Australia) for small animals. After traveling to many client’s homes to give them massage treatments, over the many years, their animals would get their turn first before the people. I only found it made sense to get licensed & certified in a modality of healing that is respected & highly valued at the dog shows for attaining “Best In Show”. All animals need healing, too and especially since they don't speak any human language to communicate their needs, it keeps them well. I offer a patient, compassionate, in-tune, special, kind, unique and personal touch to the relationship with your animals and you. Overnight at your home: I create a seamless experience in caring for your pet’s routine needs, helping them get exercise and have fun with them while doing it. *I add the bonuses of Bowen Therapy, massage, brushing their fur, singing and talking to them as needed. *cleaning up after myself and your animals and gently caring for your home (picking up mail, etc) as, if it’s my own sacred space. *I have amazed & delighted my clients with organic flowers and produce from my organic farm or the local farmer’s market & all laundry completed (that your animal & I used) for when the time aligned. For a number of reasons, I do not take them to dog parks, for the time that they are in my care. It’s imperative that your backyard is secure for when they are “off leash”. I lean to a more conservative approach to other animals and people while your animals enjoy their play time and outdoor time. Your animals & home will be well cared for & your home will energetically & physically be clean & welcoming for your arrival back to your home.

About: Having a dog or any animal in your life is a blessing and should be cherished. Throughout my years animals have saved my life and kept me company through the good and bad times. I currently don’t have my own dog anymore, she went to dogo heaven a couple years ago so now I’m taking the liberty to take care of others. I moved here a 2 1/2 years ago for work saying goodbye to my extended Rover fam in Cali. I have A-LOT of experience working with pets and owners on and off Rover. About: Your pup will be exposed to an active lifestyle. We walk an average of 5 miles per day and typically do so in green, natural and shady spaces like the makawao forest We walk before the sun is high near the coast line, makawao forest midday and beach at sunset This helps keeps us active safe and clean :) We play various games that keep mental stimulation. Pups sleep on their furniture pieces. But nap time is nap time. And by the time the morning or midday adventures are through they’re ready to nap.

About: I have taken care of dogs since around age 11, having households pets since then. Also have cared for other family members and friends dogs when they are out of town. I am looking to work part or full time with dogs or cats. I have a flexible schedule and am able to make last minute changes if needed. At home we have a fenced yard as well as taking the dogs on walks. For friends and family members I take them on walks as well as staying in the home to play with them.

I offer personalized care depending on your dogs needs/your wants! I’m currently working a part-time, so my schedule is pretty open. I was that tiny little girl who would bring home really big “scary” dogs to my parents in hopes that I could keep them. My parents were a little concerned to say the least! Although I’ve only had cats all my life, I’m a dog lover too. I used to work at the Maui Humane Society where I fulfilled my dog mom dream. I’m great with big dogs and small dogs. Size really doesn’t matter. Breed definitely doesn’t matter. I love em all <3 I’ve also had experience working with dogs who had behavioral issues as well as ex-hunting dogs. The brindle, Kama, who’s standing up against me used to be a hunting dog believe it or not! I’ve cared for all sorts of dogs and cats that at this point, I want to be around even MORE dogs and cats. I have experience with orally administering meds. I’m great with giving pets a bath, yes, even your cat too (; I can scoop their poop, give them cuddles, clip their nails, and love them as if I were their human too. Bring em on! Meet & greets are extremely important to me so that I get to know you and your pets needs prior to booking a service, as well as seeing if I’m a good fit for your furbaby. Depending on which service you choose, I would also like you to meet my family so that you are comfortable not with just myself, but anyone who will be around your pet as well. Strictly Servicing: Wailuku, Waiehu, Waihee, Kahului, Maalaea Fenced yard (mostly concrete) with two male dogs (one intact) already on premise to keep your pup company. indoor/outdoor options (i.e. air conditioning, kennel, etc.) with discussion. Able to physically check on pup minimum of 2hrs up to 4hrs; ability to monitor via camera.

About: Aloha :) My dogs and I would love to have your dog stay at our house in Olinda! We have a fenced yard and a few (partially fenced) acres of land beyond that for the pups to play and fetch the ball (depending on your comfort level with that, of course). Delilah is a sweet 3 year old golden retriever who loves equally to play and chill. Bear is a 1 year old golden Aussie who *always* loves to play and love on other pups! We live 10 minutes from both Olinda forest and Makawao forest so we usually go for morning walks there 4-5 days week. We would love to bring your pup along with us! I work from home during the day and work for ~ 5 hours in evening 2 nights a week. I am never gone for more than that 5-6 hour time frame at a time and on top of that, we have a doggy door for the dogs to go in and out freely in our fenced yard. I have a fenced yard for the dogs to hang out in and a few acres beyond that (partially fenced) for them to run around and get their energy out in. I’m always watching the dogs when they are beyond the fully fenced yard. I will also makes sure you are comfortable with your dog in this situation before doing so.
