“Krista is fantastic! Her whole family is helpful. My dog has so much fun when she visits them. Their fenced in yard is so nice! I also really appreciate how Krista always has our dog’s items all packed up, by the door, and ready to go for when we pick her up.”

“Our dog Levi had the best time! Amy and her family were so loving to our boy and kept us very well updated! Absolutely will be sending him back to play and stay again! Grateful for all they did!”

About: Hi! ❤️ I’m so excited to meet you and your furry best friends! I know that pets are family and finding someone you can trust to care for them is so important. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, comfortable, and right at home while you’re away. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone by their side, I’m happy to give them all the love and attention they deserve! I’ll take the time to learn your pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs so they receive care that feels familiar and stress-free. You can expect plenty of affection, patience, updates, and adorable pictures while your baby is in my care! 🥹❤️ I want you to have peace of mind knowing your pet is being treated like one of my own. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pup! My goal is to make you feel confident booking with me and make your pet excited for their next visit. 🐕💕 Your pets deserve the best, and I can’t wait to spoil them with love! 🐾 I’m a stay at home mom so I will be home full-time minus errand running here or there so you can expect your fur baby to be fully enriched with constant company! We will play outside, go on trips and of course walks including hikes if you are comfortable with that! I also have a puppy so they will have a built in bestie!
“Brionna was very responsive and was great with our Maple! She kept in contact with us by sending photos and videos. I would recommend her to anyone and will be booking with her in the future when needed! She definitely treats your pets as her own!”

“Billie provided exceptional communication throughout my dog’s stay, particularly when handling an unexpected marking issue. She sent detailed updates about my dog’s behavior and daily activities, which proved especially valuable when the unusual marking behavior began. Since my dog had never exhibited this behavior before, the sitter’s thorough observations and frequent updates helped us quickly determine that a vet visit was necessary. What impressed me most was her attentiveness and detailed documentation of my dog’s behavior changes. She sent regular photos and updates, activity levels, and any concerning changes. When the marking incident occurred, she immediately reached out and provided clear information about the situation.”

“This was my first time using the app and Jordan made it seamless! She communicated timely and made me feel at ease leaving my baby with her for 5 days. I got pictures and updates throughout my trip and I loved that she was willing to come over and meet us prior to booking. Highly recommended!”

“Cassidy and Cody are always great with Stella, and she loves being able to play with their girls and dogs. We always get her back worn out and happy! Would book again!”

About: I have been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. Since 2017, I have been actively house sitting and caring for friends’, family’s, neighbors’, and other people’s pets. I have cared for a wide variety of animals, from dogs and cats to horses and other animals, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I am dependable, patient, attentive, and genuinely love getting to know each animal I care for. Whether your pet needs lots of playtime and exercise, extra patience and reassurance, medication, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you are away. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind knowing your pets are in good hands. As a stay at home dog mom to my dog, Draco, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I am able to take them outside frequently for potty breaks, playtime, walks, and fresh air. I love having animals around and will make sure your pets get plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day! I am happy to follow whatever routine and preferences you have established for your pets. I understand that every animal is different, and I want to keep them as comfortable and consistent as possible while you are away. I am comfortable following crate training routines, feeding schedules, walking and potty schedules, medication instructions, and any other specific instructions you provide. I also have experience caring for neighbors’ animals and am comfortable handling different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. My goal is to follow your instructions closely and care for your pets the way you would!
“Our dog Henry stayed with Betsy and Ron for 6 days June 2026. They were fantastic in every way. Very friendly and interested in making sure Henry (and my wife and I) were completely comfortable with the arrangement during our vacation. We received frequent text updates with pictures which we truly appreciated. We would gladly book with them again in the future.”

About: I've always loved dogs but that love grew stronger once I adopted my own dog! He inspired me to take a chance on myself and begin working with dogs, professionally. I've had extensive training and care for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve been working (professionally) with dogs for 5 years and caring for them is something that comes natural to me and is something I LOVE being able to do! I recently graduated from CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and am now Certified as a Dog Trainer! Every day is a good day when I’m around dogs :) I currently work full-time and am a foster/volunteer for a local rescue so weekends will be my main availability but can consider services during the week depending on my availability and your needs! Due to having my own dog and fostering dogs, I prefer to care for pets in their home. The health, care, safety, and comfortability of your furry family member is my top priority. Communication with clients is also very important to me because I understand how hard it can be to be away from your furry family member. I care and love for every animal as if they were my own!
“I felt very good about the care I was receiving from videos and pictures. I felt max was in good hands and it showed a very well organised house with a fenced in yard in the back. I will definitely use him again. Thanks again”

“Megan And Vince are awesome and how they care for my dog Gracie. They are very attentive to her, they send me pictures of her playing and just how she is settling in with the pack. The yard is a perfect atmosphere for her to just be free and enjoy her other dog friends. I highly recommend Megan And Vince for watching anyone’s pets.”

“Alexandra and Robert did a great job with my dog, Baxter! He is a German shorthaired pointer and has a ton of energy. he had plenty of safe space to run and let all that energy out. He sent photos daily and told us how he was doing. He seemed very happy and would love to stay there again in the future. I will have Baxter stay with them again and highly recommend them to anyone!”

About: I am a retired science teacher with a very flexible schedule. I was a Great Dane mom for 20 years and have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. I am recently retired and still building my "new" routine, which currently has lots of time to care for your dog(s) either in your home or possibly mine. I currently have no pets (my dog in passed in July, 2023) and I hope that my work with Rover will bring some extra joy to my days as well as those of your dog(s). I also enjoy hobbies such as golf, daily workouts/walks, and reading. At my home, I have a beautiful back yard that is great for quick walks or potty breaks on leash. The local park is only a 10-minute walk away. My large deck is a great place for dogs to get some fresh air, weather permitting. The main level of the home is mostly hardwood floors. I have plenty of space for a crate and food/water bowls. I am a respectful, responsible individual and will follow your instructions for pet care and visits with care and the greatest attention to detail.
“Donna was amazing! She kept me updated with pictures and funny stories about my pup Molly. I knew she was in great hands! She and her husband walked Molly and incorporated her into their daily lives. I highly recommend Donna.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hallam
Krista and her family take excellent care of Rembrandt. He likes going there and has started to “feel more at home” with them. He comes home happy and calm, and he especially likes CeCe who is one of Krista’s daughter and he also enjoys being with Krista. I have never left Rembrandt with anyone prior to boarding with Krista and she deserves a 10+ for her care. 5 Stars also

Kara provided a great place for my dog Ellie to stay. She was very accommodating and thorough with our needs and her requirements. She sent cute pics of Ellie, who is very skiddish of people and she looked very comfortable. If she will be able to take Ellie again I would be happy to use her services and I know Ellie will get great care!

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Hallam can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Hallam home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Hallam.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
