“Allison did amazing! She was so great walking Fenway and with excellent communication. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone who needed some trustworthy pet care:)”

About: What sets me apart from other caretakers is the care and attention I give to every pet. Each pet is different they have there own personality and needs. I make sure that your pet feels loved, comfortable and is safe. I am dependable, patient, and committed to following your pets routine while keeping you posted for a piece of mind. I currently have a small business and I am a college student at UTSA. Right now I am on summer so I am flexible to walk your pet at any time. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter box, plenty of attention, and playtime when they want it. I also keep owners updated and make it a priority to be reliable, respectful of their home, and on time for every visit.
“Tim is timely and when he arrives he quickly leashes and starts walks. The dogs are excited to see him and they are eager to head out the door. They do the loop in the neighborhood and each dog gets one on one for the walk”

“Wonderful! Nardo instantly took to her and they played nonstop! Ella is super sweet and professional I definitely recommend and will call on again and again! :)”

About: I’ve worked in a Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel Technician. I know how to administer medicine and how to work with most dogs and cats. I’ve often before pet sit neighbors cats and dogs before. I am a full time student at UTSA. I can easily work around my classes when needed. On Summer and Winter breaks I have more flexibility in my schedule. I have 2 big dogs and have worked with many small and large animals. I respect them in their own homes and the clients home itself. I will do my best to make the job with as little stress to the fur babies while respecting everyone around.
About: I have been pet sitting for about five years now and have experience with many different sizes and breeds of animals! I raised a lamb, goat, and a guide dog in high school and personally, I have owned a Cavachon, and a Labrador. I used to work at a dog daycare for about a year and I volunteered with Animal Defense League! Currently I am on summer break and so I have full availability! In the fall, I will only go to school on Mondays and Wednesdays. I never take my eyes off of a pet, especially if we are outside. I always make sure that they are next to me when passing someone else or another pet on a walk and redirect them is needed. I always greet animals I do not know calmly and gently, I never want to overstimulate them.
About: I have cared for several breeds, both big and small, over the past 10 years. I am a very active person and will have no issues keeping up with your dog. Starting in August, I will be unemployed as I transition to a new position. I am an early riser and can care for your pet any time of day. During drop-in visits, I always make sure that the pet has adequate food (based on their feeding schedule) and water, and that they have toys/TV to occupy them while they are alone! I like to take very active pets on walks during drop-in visits to get out their zoomies.
“We love Marla, she takes such good care of our pup and she is very accommodating to our changing schedule! It puts our minds at ease to know someone comes to visit Layla while we are at work and we know she looks forward to Marla’s visits :)”

“Sam was very attentive and helped out greatly when we requested small details for the dogs. Definitely will be using him in the future and highly recommend him.”

“Yaretzi is wonderful. She’s a great communicator, punctual and so great with our Australian Shepherd, Sadie. She can get very excited for her walk and Yaretzi handles it with such patience. Highly recommended her!”

About: I have a dog currently and have had a cat in the past, as well as pet sat for neighbors with both!! I love playing with pets and am great at remembering specific care instructions and personalizing experiences! I work part time( typically the PM 6-11 shift) so I have a lot of free time for pet sitting. I'm fully off 3 days a week. I'm available for overnight sitting at your place or drop-in visits, whichever is most convenient!! I know every pet is different and I care for them based on their needs. I am comfortable giving pets medications and extra care when needed. I enjoy walking dogs and doing play time with pets as well.
About: I have lifelong experience caring for dogs and cats, including energetic puppies and multiple dogs of my own. I provide loving, patient care and treat every pet like family. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily work around your pet's needs. Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy, and I love making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I currently only provide pet care services in my client's home so pets can remain in a familiar, comfortable environment and keep their normal routines. I prioritize building trust with both pets and owners by following all care instructions closely, maintaining a safe and clean space, and giving each pet plenty of attention, patience, and affection while their family is away.
About: Howdy! I've grown up surrounded by all types of fur babies and have been caring for neighborhood pets since I was about 8 years old. Over the years, I've looked after dogs, cats, hamsters, and even ferrets for friends, family, and neighbors. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from puppies as young as two weeks old to senior dogs up to 18 years old. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I'll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I treat every pet like they're part of my own family, and I'll love and care for your fur baby like the king or queen they are. I'm currently a university student with a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet's care. Since I'm not working another job, I'm able to accommodate a variety of schedules, provide frequent potty breaks, and give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. Whether you need daycare, overnight care, drop-in visits, or walks, I'll do my best to work around your schedule and your pet's routine. Your pet's comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and go outside whenever they need to. At home, I typically let my own dogs out every 2–3 hours and spend time playing with them outside, so any dogs staying with me will receive the same level of care and attention. I also love taking dogs on walks, especially early in the morning when it's cooler outside, so they can get plenty of exercise without having to deal with the Texas heat. I'll always follow your pet's usual routine as closely as possible and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
“So thankful to have found Abby on Rover! I just moved to the area and had to start over with finding someone to walk my dog while I worked long shifts and Abby is the perfect fit! My little dude is very shy and Abby has been so patient with him, gives me peace of mind knowing he’s getting well taken care of ❤️”

I am currently a senior at Texas Tech and I only have class on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11-12:30. I have lots of free time on my hands! I have a dog and cat back at home and I take care of them with my parents. I have fostered cats many times and helped trained multiple puppies.

About: I have 3+ Years of Dog Experience & Hands-On Experience with Canine Healthcare. I’m a pre-med student with over three years of experience caring for dogs and a genuine passion for their health and well-being. As a proud weenie dog parent, I’ve personally navigated my own puppy’s medical challenges alongside him, including trips to the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital to help find solutions and get him the care he needed. These experiences have deepened my love for animals and strengthened my passion for canine healthcare. Your pup will always be treated with the same love, patience, and care I give my own!❤️ Here’s a polished version for your Rover profile: I work at a neurology clinic only two days a week and have plenty of availability for your pets! I’m available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays after 6 PM. I’m also available for 24/7 potty breaks and care on my available days, excluding Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your pup will be staying in a safe, loving, and welcoming home with my friendly 6-month-old Dachshund, who is well-socialized with other dogs and regularly enjoys trips to the dog park!
About: Hello! I’m Naomi — San Antonio born and raised, lifelong dog lover, and proud mom to two rescued pups: Ziggy, my fearless little tripawd Schnauzer mix, and Hendrix, my wonderfully quirky chihuahua/pittie mix (yes… that DNA test surprised me too). As a woman in her thirties with no human kids, my dogs are my babies — and I treat every client’s dog with that exact same level of attention, safety, and tenderness. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have worked with both Rover and Wag. I’m also the designated “dog person” in my family and friend group — the one who gets called whenever a pup needs meds, cuddles, or someone patient enough to gain a shy dog’s trust. When I’m not caring for dogs, I work full-time as a discovery paralegal in family law. In other words: I’m detail-oriented, responsible, calm under pressure… and yes, dogs are much easier than people going through custody battles. :) Send me a message anytime — I’m happy to answer questions, talk through your pet’s needs, and see if we’re a good match! I work roughly 9–6 on weekdays, so I can’t stay home full-time during the week. But I do have a flexible lunch hour that I can use to check in on your babies. If your booking overlaps with a holiday, I’ll let you know right away whether I’m off or not. When I housesit, I prefer to stay in the home as much as possible — safety first, always. I never bring my own dogs unless you specifically tell me I can (and only one client has ever requested that). I’ll keep you updated if I need to be gone for longer than normal for work purposes. I’m comfortable giving oral medications and following specific feeding or routine instructions. I never guess with a dog’s health — if you leave me a plan, I follow it exactly.
About: Hello! Ever since I can remember I have loved dogs and they have always been a part of my life! A few years ago I began to work from home, and I thought that it would be the perfect time to begin to foster and help dogs in need. I started fostering various dogs with SNIPSA(a dog/cat rescue organization) from timid adult dogs to playful puppies to litters of puppies(8+pups at a time), and I really enjoyed it! Now over a year later, I have hosted over 200 different dogs! I would love to take care of your fur babies and pamper them while you are away! I am home all day, so they will get lots of attention and potty breaks as frequently as needed. I also have two daughters who are 18 and 20 years old, who love dogs and will take the pups on multiple walks daily as well as play with them and love on them. While your fur babies are in my care I will treat them like my own and allow them access to the whole house and yard. Our yard is fully fenced in. I will also send lots of pictures daily and keep you updated on how they are doing. We have one dog who is a neutered 6 year old Standard Poodle named Shipley. He is very sweet and easy going. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks for looking!

“Will could not have been better! We really appreciated the pictures and updates in the report cards. Will really helped us out. I would highly recommend Will for anyone in need of a good friend for your pup!”

About: I grew up with all types of different pets in the household from dogs to guinea pigs to birds and even shrimp! So, naturally, I came to love for all animals! Loving them means to also care for them, so I had to provide care for each animal making sure they were properly fed, cleaned, and had a safe environment to sleep. What you can expect from me: * Quick responses * Reliable scheduling * Updates/photos during visits * Respect for your home and routine I currently work part time and go to school full time, but I still have plenty of time to dedicate to the loved animals of San Antonio. I promise to provide the absolute best care to your pets and to your homes. I will make sure your pets are kept safe and properly cared for. I also walk my dogs all the time, so I know proper handling and care when walking a dog.
