“Sadie was so helpful. We got into a bind with Callie, got ahold of Sadie last minute and immediately came out to help us. So much appreciated. Callie really enjoyed her company. Definitely will do it again!! Thank you”

“Marissa was a fantastic sitter for Isla. She can be a shy kitty for strangers, but Marissa sent great photos her everyday, which means Isla warmed up to her quickly. It was a relief for us to know that our kitty was well looked after while we were gone. We will definitely try to book Marissa again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a good cat sitter. Thanks Marissa!”

I will come in and check up otherwise if requested I can stay at the home and keep them company! I am flexible and willing to work with your specific requirements as our dogs are our family! About: Hi there! I have had raised dogs and cats since the age of about 12. I love all animals and am now teaching my 2 young girls to love and nurture all creatures 🥰 we love dogs and cats and are happy to help u with all your pet care needs ☺️ I currently WFH in the evenings and me and 2 little ones love being out and about during the day, we would love to stop in and feed or walk your pets or have your pup come stay for the day to get lots of pets, love , and cuddles I live near menominee park in a lovely quiet neighborhood, I have a lead for outside and we have plenty of space inside. I do have 3 cats, when dogs are in our home they stay upstairs and I make sure they and the dog have the space they need.
About: “God speaks to the creatures through the creatures.” -Dr. Chase. “All you need is love.” -John Lennon. Plenty of love I have to give, but I also have the experience of 35 years as a science teacher. I’m well-versed in how animals like dogs and cats talk to us through their gestures. Dogs evolved with humans, and I understand that relationship and how dogs meet our emotional needs. Please read my first four reviews which I received from pet owners that I served even before signing up with Rover. The pet owner decides when treats are allowed, if table scraps are allowed, and how much food to give. The dog decides when it wants to go potty. 😉 Just in case, I usually take the dog out before it decides and always before any discomfort. Snuggles welcome. 🐾🥰😻 When serving you and your pet, I like to send pictures. We can also use FaceTime or Zoom to check in. 🐶🤩 At age 61, I’ve been a retired teacher for 3 years, and my activity level allows me to run or play with your beloved dog. In your home, I follow instructions and do the routine for your beloved just like you would. However, if I’m allowed to give more snuggles, or more walks, or more training than you normally have time for, I’m at your service.
“Sarah did a phenomenal job checking on our cats. While we were on vacation our home experienced severe weather (totally unexpected) and lost power. Normally, I would have been an anxious mess. But, Sarah was great and her updates made me feel comfortable......so we enjoyed our family vacation! Thank you Sarah!”

About: I've grown up with dogs, cats, and other small animals in the home all my life. I also have years of experience with equine care. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I've had dogs of all ages, so I have experience with both seniors and puppies. Though I have a part-time job, my availability is still quite flexible. Your pet will be housed with mine and treated just as my own. I have a spacious fenced-in yard and plenty of indoor space. My two very friendly dogs will keep your fur baby company. Crates are also available if needed.
“Very reliable! Katie took excellent care of our cats, bearded dragon, frogs, hermit crab and fish while we were on vacation. She sent pictures every day and communicated about how they were doing.”

About: Let me know if your dog has any special needs, medications, or behaviors that I can account for or help with. I would love to help. If you have plants that need watering, mail, or packages that need to be brought in, I can help with that too! I'm retired and love traveling around Wisconsin and the world. Slow traveling is my favorite. I can explore new neighborhoods, cities, and local attractions without being rushed. I will follow your directions for your house and loved ones. Let me know the extra duties like watering, mail, or garbage routine. The house is left cleaner than I found it.
About: I've been taking care of pets since I was 8, it started with a cat and grew to dogs and snakes and more, working with animals is my dream job. I work factory Monday through Friday but Friday night into Sunday I am available for pet care. I have 2 cats and a dog at my own home, but I am more than happy to dog sit at others homes. I make sure my cats litter boxes are kept clean, I keep their food bowls filled, and I keep their water filled. I walk my dog a lot and I take her out every couple hours to use the bathroom.
About: I’ve taken care of a variety of pets for 20 years. Old pets included. I have no issues with giving medication needed for pets or bathing them if needed. I am a stay at home mom of 1! So I have plenty of free time to hangout and take care of cute fur babies! I have a fenced in yard that allows for safe roaming around. Plenty of green grass to roll around and enjoy. Great neighborhood to take dog or cats on walks.
“It was a true blessing to come across Bryanna to help with drop in visits for our 2 adult rescue dogs and outside cats. Our dogs are seldom left alone over night and this was their first time having somebody come in to care for them. Bryanna came out to meet the dogs and learn of the routine and responsibilities a few days before. During the drop ins, Bryanna sent pictures and would respond to messages promptly. Although our dogs would bark at Bryanna when she came in, they were fed, let out and were given treats. They were in good hands. Bryanna was prompt with her care and time with them. Thank you Bryanna!”

“Mercedes did a great job! She let me know when she arrived at our house and left our house. She sent daily pictures and let me know how our Zoe was doing! I’d use Mercedes again!”
About: Hi! My name is Lensy, and I’m excited about the opportunity to care for your pet. A little about me: I am in grad school (online) and work a hybrid job which gives me flexibility/ allows me to be remote a good amount so your furry friend isn’t alone day! I have plenty of experience looking after neighbors’ pets, from playful puppies to full-grown dogs. I also have experience with birds and cats. I can’t wait to take your furry friend out for walks, keep them entertained, and meet their unique needs. I understand it can be hard to trust someone new with your beloved pet, so please don’t hesitate to share any concerns or specific instructions. I’m here to make both you and your pet feel comfortable! I’m flexible, understanding, and passionate about keeping pets happy and active. I look forward to meeting your little companion! PS you will see a lot of photos on my profile of my family golden doodle Coco, who is my whole world😌 I I often have the flexibility to work remotely and do grad school online which allows me to be quite adaptable. I am available to do in-person visits and check-ins throughout the day, though I’m unable to provide lodging. My weekends are currently free, so I’m happy to arrange care for your pets during that time as well. Please feel free to reach out to discuss how I can best accommodate your needs! When caring for pets in my home or in my client's home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment tailored to each pet's needs. In my client's home, I want to be sure to know their routines. I focus on providing a stress-free experience, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and cared for in familiar surroundings. At home, I have a pet of my own, a mini golden doodle named Coco, who has taught me a lot about pet care and the importance of personalized attention. I ensure a calm, pet-friendly space where all animals can relax and feel at ease. I also maintain consistency in feeding times, play sessions, and any special care routines. I always ensure their safety and well-being is my top priority, no matter the setting.
“Yolanda was wonderful. Very thorough. I wasn't afraid at all because I knew she'd be there to take care of KIDDEY! I would definitely suggest Rover to a friend and have them choose Yolanda”

About: My mom’s friends have always trusted me to watch their pets. I have had to take care of senior dogs including my own having to give them their pills. After work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and the weekend until I can make enough money to do this full time! I want to be a able to quit my current job to do this full time! Giving them enough attention whether it be playing and taking them for walks getting them outside as much as possible. Feeding, bathing, training. Making sure to not leave them alone too long.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
