About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I am happy to help with any pet needs! I have recently graduated from college and am working part time working towards full time! Pet sitting and care fit well into my routine as I typically work 4 hour shifts at a time leaving great time to check in with pets! My weeks are flexible just reach out if you have any questions! I try to have what is best for my animals including fenced in yards and proper food, cages, and medicines. Although I do not offer boarding, I will make absolutely certain your animals stay safe in my care!

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. I recently retired and miss having a pup in my life. I’m available and flexible for daily walks as well as able to provide boarding in my home. I am very attentive and loving toward all fur babies. I’m a firm believer that exercise and interactive play is essential in developing a bond with each pup.

About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I am currently in summer break from my university and I have a rather flexible schedule! My hours available may change depending on the week, but I will have plenty of time to play with your pet! Once my school semester begins, I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 5 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

I’ve always dog sit and I thought I would continue on this app. I’m home for college so I have all the time in the world! Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.

About: I grew up in Wyoming where I was a member of 4-H for ten years. I raised pigs and rabbits for show and also grew up with two cats and a corgi at home. I have experience giving medication to each of these animals and even some experience giving injections. My husband, Orlando, and I love animals and work most of our Rover appointments together. At home we have two cats and a hedgehog! I’m pretty flexible and almost always have time in the mornings and in the evenings after 4 to stop by and check on/walk/play with pets. I am happy to housesit during the week or on weekends. While housesitting I am happy to make time for daily walks and try to be attentive to when your pet needs to go out. I’m very flexible and try to leave every home as I found it or better! If your pet has toys I will always engage in play time and try to keep them happy and entertained.

About: I have 4 dogs of my own, 3 are rescues and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I’ve also taken care of friends and family’s pets while out of town and used to dog groom with a friend of mine. I currently work a full time job in Boone, Nc. I would love to be able to take care of your fur babies full time instead! Three of my dogs are crated while i’m not home but after Im home they get to run around inside and they are walked before i leave, and while Im home. Once Im doing this full time they will not be crated as much. I do not have a fenced in yard so they are walked instead as much as possible! But could also put up a temporary fence if needed!

I also have a degree in wildlife rehabilitation which is helpful in pet care because I have experience with messy situations, baby animals and unexpected circumstances! I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies. My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner. I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a few years now. I understand your dogs are your babies so taking care of them and modifying to their needs is one of my biggest priorities! I have a lot of free time to take care of your fur babies! The summer weather is perfect for walks! My schedule is very flexible, I would love to plan some meet & greets in order to meet you and your animals! In my home, your dogs would be like a part of my everyday routine. About: I have grown up volunteering in my local humane society, but have been working in dog daycare for the past 2 years. I also have experience caring for other pets including cats, fish, and even lizards! I offer both walking and house sitting services, but will also train basic commands upon request. My schedule is pretty open as I am home for summer break and am available at any point throughout the day.
