“We are so grateful to have found Brian to care for our two very special dogs, both of whom come with their own quirks and sensitivities. Our sweet and playful pup, Abbi, gets anxious in new environments, while our 13-year-old, Hank, is mostly sweet and playful but can also be a bit reactive when startled, especially by fast movements or unfamiliar people. Brian was incredible with both of them. Hank warmed up to him almost immediately (something that rarely happens) and seeing him snuggling his head into Brian's hand during one of the daily video updates was a highlight for us. Brian’s calm, confident presence clearly helped both of our dogs feel safe and happy. They had plenty of space to explore, lots of outdoor playtime, and were cared for with patience and attentiveness. In addition to putting our dogs at ease, he also managed to put my husband-who tends to be quite anxious about leaving them-at ease, as well. About: I am home a significant amount during the summer and can provide all the love you would if you were home with your own pet! I know it is difficult to leave them behind, and will make sure they have all the love they need. I am a caring, dog-loving person with children. Your pet will be treated like one of our own. I do have a friendly Golden Retriever who loves making new furry friends. As a teacher, I'm home all summer, so your dog will receive plenty of attention, playtime, companionship, and love throughout the day. I provide a safe, loving environment where your furry family member can feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. Days and times will vary August-June as we head back to school. Though I do not have a fenced in yard, I can provide ample yard space and wooded areas both behind and on the side of our home. I do live on a side country road and do not receive a ton of traffic. I will also walk or use a tie out as requested.

About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. My heart is full around any four legged friend and I strive to care for them, show them the deepest love, and teach them as I do my own children. It’s in my blood! I currently work as a home health OT with a flexible schedule during the day. I also have windows of time during the evenings and weekends to care for any pet. Teaching my sons responsibility and skills required to care well for animals are just an added bonus! I own my home with a large yard in the rear of the home. I’m also able to provide in-home boarding as I do not currently have a pet in the home. I also am able to offer drop-in services to address any home needs (mail, plant care, shoveling or vacation mowing), dog-walking, and light housework. Additional services like dog-walking upon request- let’s make your time away painless without concern at home.

About: Ive taken care of dogs every size. teaching new tricks, going on walks, and ice cream is something I enjoy doing with a fur baby I currently work full time night shift. I work 12 hrs shifts so my other 4 days during the week are open to helping other animal lovers with their babies. Because without the help I receive on my work days I would b very stressed. I have an unfunded yard but I love going on walks. Me and my dog ( henny) are always going hiking, fishing, to the dog park, or just out for a car ride. Henny loves all dogs and has lots of energy to play.
