For boarding, your pet will have free range in my home with easy access to food and water. I have a gated yard for them to run around and play in. Pets are allowed on the furniture if that is okay with their pet parent. I am comfortable administering medicine, and I’ll make sure that all details about care are attended to. Drop in visits will be much more than simply letting your pet out to do their business. I will give them love and attention, and I’ll be happy to send pictures to say hello. For housesitting with pets, I will follow all instructions and make sure that your pet(s) are cared for in their own space. If asked, I will bring in the mail and make sure that waste in the yard is removed. You can rest assured that I’ll return your home to you in pristine condition. We only accept one family at a time unless we are familiar with the dog(s) and have specifically gotten permission from each family to have a crossover in booking - we never attempt to book more than one family at a time. It’s important to us to provide the utmost, quality care for each family and we will always be transparent with you! Because we homeschool, I am home for large chunks of time throughout the week. We are home almost all morning and early afternoon but even in the evenings we are popping back in here and there between activities. Each pup is different and has specific preferences for play, attention & sleep. We have had clients all over the spectrum! We play ball & frisbee in our backyard, we put sheets on our couch to allow all dogs to jump & cuddle if they want to and we are flexible with sleeping arrangements at night. We have space to accommodate several different arrangements.

I work from home and have plenty of time throughout the day to play and go for walks. We treat dogs like a part of the family and they have full reign of the house. I work from home and live an active lifestyle which is great for your pets! We take plenty of walks with my mini-aussie, Olive. She is extremely friendly and welcoming to our guests dogs. We treat dogs as part of the family. I don't believe in restricting access to parts of the home or leaving them home alone for too long. We are always at home and going to parks nearby which takes up all of our time and keeps our pets engaged and properly tired at the end of the night. Feel free to bring anything to make your pup feel more comfortable!

“I appreciate Sam and their family so much for taking such awesome care of my puppy while I was away! From the start, I felt totally comfortable leaving her with them. When I picked her up, she was so happy and full of energy. Clearly, she had a great time! She came back nice and content, i can tell she was also well fed. All her stuff was neatly packed and clean, including her leash and bed. Sam and their family were super sweet and kept us updated with pictures and videos every day. They also made sure to check in with us about anything they were unsure of. It’s clear they really love animals and treat them like their own.
