About: I have experience working with all kinds of dogs: big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, sick dogs, and dogs with behavioral issues. I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, and fish. I’m detail oriented, patient, and am always aware of my surroundings to ensure both my and your pets safety. I have experience with dogs that need special attention or extra care including those with behavioral issues like anxiety, fear, or reactivity. I have 3 Australian shepherds that keep me on my toes and 3 cats! I routinely take the dogs for a walk or hike while the cats nap around the house. Right now, I am available most days and times to check in on a pet or take them for a walk. Almost anyone with an Australian shepherd will tell you that they can be quite particular and high energy—I know that mine are! I’ve taken several classes to learn about safety during walks, how to recognize cues before a reactive incident, and how to control a dog if they get out of control. I will always check in with you before taking your pet somewhere and be sure to follow any directions you give me.

About: I am pet boarding certified. Can show proof! I’ve been taking care of dogs and other pets for as long as I can remember! I currently have 4 dogs of my own! Experience with dog training, emergency situations and have vet experience! I currently work at feeders supply and we do boarding/daycare there. (Per your approval!) For boarding I am available every day! Just send me a message and we will work something out!! As other services go, please contact me and I will do my best to satisfy your needs! I have a huge fenced in yard, gazebo out back for easy shade and comfy lounging. About: Hi! I’m a passionate animal lover with 6+ years of experience in the animal care industry. I have worked in animal shelters & boarding facilities, and I love dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have lots of experience with shy/nervous dogs, as well as experience training basic manners and working through leash reactivity and anxiety all through positive reinforcement. In between working part-time and taking my own dog on adventures, I have plenty of time to build a relationship with your pet. I am available Sunday - Tuesday before 12pm, & Wednesday - Saturday anytime. I have a golden retriever who loves other dogs and would love to become walking buddies with yours! Although my dog goes most places with me, it is absolutely no problem to leave her at home if your dog prefers to be alone.

“Taylor was a joy to have come for a pet meet and greet with my kids. I have a dog that is very possessive and suspicious and not very friendly to new people but after she gave him many treats and was very calm around him, in just a short time he was all over her kissing her and wanting pets and attention. My other dog is a natural human lover so she didn’t have any problem with her. I want my boy in particular to become comfortable and at ease around her ahead of time in case I need her services. Thank you, Taylor !”

“Angela took great care of my cat, he was happy and fed when I got home :)”

“Tyler is always our first to go to when we need a drop in visit for our animals! He sends us lots of photos and takes great care of our animals!”

“Highly recommend! Even though I booked last minute, my mind was at ease that Roscoe was in great hands. Right on time and excellent communication.”

About: Never had my childhood home had less than 5 animals. I've grown up taking care of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rats, mice, gerbils, bunnies, and turtles-most of those under solely my care. I've always loved caring for my animals and watching them grow. I'm currently not working outside of the home. I am a stay at home mom so I will be available for your animals full time! We have a 3200 sq ft 2 level home with a large unfenced yard. I have one friendly 8 year old female labradoodle, one very sweet, friendly, and energetic 1 year old newfoundland mix, and another very nonchalant 5 year old male cat. I also have a 8 year old son and a 2 year old son who both love and respect animals. Our home is a very comfortable space for any kid friendly animal to enjoy. We feed 2x a day, let them out to potty at least 4x a day-I will leash if necessary.

About: *** Please feel free to message me if you are concerned about rates or would like to set up a different form of payment *** There has never been a moment in my life where I didn’t have animals. We have had dogs, cats, horses, and chickens and I have loved all of them equally. I have been helping to take care of my grandpa’s coonhounds since I could walk. Throughout my life, I have been able to work with these strong, high energy dogs. I have experience with walking them, as well as teaching them how to walk on the leash with minimal pulling. We have also raised MANY litters of puppies, so I have experience with puppy care as well. I have had the responsibility of giving puppies their parvo/puppy shots to ensure they don’t become ill when weaning from their mother. I have also had my own dog, Sally, for about 10 years now. She is a French bulldog, and she does need a little extra care sometimes. She has some skin irritations, so she has a special food that has helped. She also has a gentle shampoo that she is bathed with that will not cause her to itch afterwards. I also keep her face and wrinkles clean to keep any irritation at bay. I am a student at Morehead State University, where I am part of an organization called 4Paws for Ability. We work with service dogs in training where we socialize them in public. These dogs learn to not be afraid of new things, and to feel comfortable and confident in a public setting no matter where they go. I have been a part of this group for two years, and for a year and a half of this time, I have been able to dog sit many of these dogs countless amounts of time. I had the opportunity to work with and be responsible for one of these dogs named Gingko. I was responsible for his care, and a lot a lot of his basic commands. My main goal was to socialize him in public, which included things like meeting new people/children, being able to walk by dogs without a reaction, going shopping at Walmart, hearing new sounds, or even just a walk through a park. In the summer of 2022, I volunteered at the Owen County Animal Clinic where I had the opportunity to work with all sorts of dogs and cats. Often times, I would comfort and hold animals still for any injections, nail trimmings, or basic inspection that needed to be done. I enjoyed my time there, and I especially enjoyed giving love and comforting many of the scared and stressed animals. I currently have a part time job and will be working on some Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as Saturdays and Sunday mornings. I won’t be working all day, so will still have availability on those days, but not a full day. Otherwise, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are open all day! I do help my grandfather exercise his hound dogs on occasion, but nothing that interferes with creating a schedule. I have a pretty big yard so my dog gets to run around as she pleases. She isn’t kept on a collar or leash as she is very well trained to stay in the yard, but she doesn’t like to be alone anyway so she stays near me. But I do understand that not all dogs are like this and may need a very watchful eye. When my grandpa raises a litter of coonhound puppies, they need to be watched during outside times so they don’t wonder off into the woods or close to the road.

Makena G.
“Makena is a life long lover of all animals. I have frequently called her "the animal wisperer." She somehow has a second sense about her that even the most timid, anxious, abused, and neglected animals seem to connect and immediately feel safe with her. My super protective and anxious Australian shepherd would go absolutely bonkers at the mention of her name. They had a special connection that not many could develop with my crazy guy! Her huge heart for the love she shares with animals has made her an amazing person. Sometimes the love of a pet and their love for you is the best connection and one of the most meaningful types of relationships we develop in life. Blair her dog is treated better than most humans and Makena is her best friend! She loves playing in the water, taking rides, going on trails. Makena is the owner, but Blair is the boss! She does anything and everything to keep her at her happiest. Makena's extensive history for working with other people's most precious pets makes her an exceptional candidate for this position. I have no doubt that Makena will excel! As I have noted, with her love of animals, devotion to the happiness of animals, and caring heart, she will without a doubt win over her client's and their pets!”
