“Jared stayed at our house to care for our pets for 8 days while we were on vacation out of state. He took amazing care all of our dogs and cats! He took the dogs for walks everyday and played fetch with our needy GSD everyday too. He sent daily updates and pictures. Having him stay put out mind at ease knowing they were being taken care of so well while we were away. We highly recommend him and will definitely be using him in the future!”

She met him in advance and did great with him. She kept me updated and send me photos and I would definitely recommend Erika and use her again in the future. She even brought her vacuum over to clean up my dog hair! How awesome is that. When she came back to get her vacuum the dogs went nuts over her. I hope to see her again in the future. I am currently in college so my schedule is very open throughout the week. I go to the gym often. I can always make arrangements. Make sure doors are open, always on a leash when being walked. If the client has a fenced in yard, let them run free but always keep an eye out.

About: I have had pets all my life, I have house, pet and plant sat for almost 15 years now. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and cats. Medications are no problem. I enjoy walks just as much as the dogs! I typically travel through a house and pet sitting site. I love it so much I thought I would make it my job! My schedule is flexible and I am willing to travel anywhere in the US or Canada. I care for pets in their own homes. Rover insists you start out boarding in the sitters home but I do not offer this service. I pet sit in the clients home only. Thanks :)

About: Hi! I’m Kari, a lifelong animal lover with a deep passion for caring for pets. Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other animals, I’ve always felt a natural connection to them. I currently have three dogs of my own— a 9-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier, a 5-year-old male American Pit Bull Terrier, and a 4-year-old male German Shepherd/Boxer mix. While I’m relatively new to professional pet sitting, I have years of experience caring for my own pets and have also helped friends and family with dog and/ or cat sitting, walking, and playtime. I’m a recent graduate of Central Michigan University and now teach 8th and 9th grade English at Manistee Area Public Schools. I’m committed to both my career and to providing the best care for pets. Through my experience with my own dogs, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to manage different personalities and behavioral needs. For instance, my youngest dog developed anxiety and reactivity at around 1.5 years old, which has required daily medication and thoughtful management of his interactions with my other dogs. In addition to my dogs, I also have experience caring for a variety of animals, including four hens and a rooster, which has further expanded my knowledge of animal care. About: I have experience in taking care of pets both personally and professionally. I have helped raise our family dog into her senior years which has involved administering medications 4 times a day. I have also taken care of family members’ puppies. More recently, I worked as a professional pet care specialist for a company which involved taking care of a variety of dogs ranging in age, size and breed. I am open for pet care on the weekends and possibly in the evenings on weekdays. I will be able to work most holidays as well! I am dedicated to providing safe care for your pets! I currently do not provide in-home care at my home, but I can do care in your home! I always make sure to be attentive during visits. I can provide lots of cuddles and enrichment or I can give your pet some space, it all depends on your fur babies’ needs.

Jewel would get her daily exercise, was always fed the appropriate amount (and kept on her diet) even with her food restrictions, and was always returned to me as a VERY happy pup. He even gave her a bath for me once when she got very muddy while they were playing outside.”
