About: I have grown up with many cats, dogs, and fishes since I was young. I have science knowledge, that might be useful to look after your cats. I stay at home most of the time since I am currently working from home. Hence, I can look after them and make sure they are healthy with my roommate. The room is always cool, plenty of water, food will be served on time, doors are locked and closed, and we will play with them.

“Emily was a pleasure to work with! She was patient and gentle with my dog, who has never had a walker and was initially very scared. My dog visibly gained confidence as they went on more walks, as Emily took the extra time and effort to get her comfortable. I would recommend her anywhere.”

“Cady is a phenomenal walker and person! It was my and my dog's first experience with a walker, and Cady was very patient and went above and beyond to work with us. She was kind and patient in working with my initially terrified dog, and she made extra effort to befriend her and get her comfortable. She is also very calm and communicative, and I would trust her with my keys, my dog, my sourdough starter, my passport, and my favorite hair tie. 10/10”

About: I have always had dogs growing up, and if I could own 40 dogs, I would. I have grown up walking and playing with all of the dogs in my neighborhood, and I would frequently house sit and dog sit for my grandparents when they would travel. When I was 13, I trained my dog to do special tricks, including shake, spin, stay, sit pretty, circus, dog, roll over, play dead, and I even trained her to be in our local musical Annie, as Sandy. I take her hiking frequently, because I love the outdoors just as much as she does. I love dogs more than anything on this Earth and I truly believe every dog deserves the love attention and spoiling I have to offer. I have also worked with older dogs that require specific medication and have disabilities. I believe no matter the age, every dog is a puppy, and playing with them always brings out my inner child. i’m currently working part time, so I have lots of time to hang out with puppies! I would like to spend as much time as I can with dogs, because I also do a lot of of my work online, so I could stay with dogs even longer. I will care for your pet and whatever way fits your home and your pets lifestyle. I am happy to adjust to how you handle potty, enrichment activities, cleanup, etc.

“Julian was a wonderful walker for my dog—he learned how to handle Gumbeaux quickly and worked around my schedule. I appreciated the thoughtful photo updates and detailed notes, which always kept me at ease. Punctual, professional, and genuinely caring, Julian exceeded expectations and I’d happily book him again.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 8 years old and have always loved being around animals. Growing up, I helped take care of our family pets daily, from feeding and walking to playtime and cuddles. Now that I’m older, I often watch my parents’ pets when they travel, sometimes for days or even weeks at a time. I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy and caring looking after your pets while you’re away, and I’m excited to offer that same level of love and attention to yours! I’m currently a student at UNC Charlotte, but I have the summer off and a very open schedule! Since I’m not working right now, I’m available most days and can be flexible to fit your pet’s needs. Whether you need daily check-ins, long walks, or extended care, I’m ready to help whenever you need me. Creating a safe and trustworthy environment for your pets is my top priority. While I can’t host pets at my apartment, I’m more than happy to stay at your home if you need overnight care. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their familiar space, and I will treat your home and your pets with the utmost respect and care. You can trust that I’ll follow your instructions closely and provide lots of love, attention, and updates while you’re away.

“I could not be happier with the care my dog received from Xandra while I was out of town for 4 days. It was my first time booking her so I was a little nervous, but she showed up on time every day and sent multiple pictures, reassuring me that my dog was fine. My dog is usually apprehensive of strangers when meeting them for the first time, but during the interview, she warmed up to her immediately. Xandra is a very sweet, caring, and dependable person to entrust your fur babies with and I will definitely be booking with her for our next trip.”

About: I’ve been working for rover almost 4 years now and have gotten to meet some wonderful people and pups along the way! My main option on here is drop-in visits and dog walking and love to take your doggos on long walks and new adventures:) I’m currently working Monday - Thursday 9-5pm and Fridays during the summer I work 9-12. On the weekends I have an open weekend to watch your pets. With so much experience with animals, I am able to keep your animals within the limit of your yard or keep them on leashes when going for walks. I also have been able to put dogs in crates if required upon your request as well as spend lots of time playing with them.

“Dave was great and was very accommodating with my last-minute request. My dog is pretty shy with new people and he managed to get her to go out (that’s a big deal). I really appreciated Dave’s quick responses and the pictures! I will definitely reach out to him in the future.”

“Victoria is a literal angel sent from above! Freddy (a very energetic working lab) absolutely loves her and she always manages to tire him out on his walks with her. She's flexible and very conscientious and Freddy loves it when she takes him out ❤️. Cannot recommend her enough your dog will be delighted!”

About: I’ve worked with dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, and horses my whole life. For the past year I’ve been a veterinary assistant and feel comfortable taking care of your pets every need! Administering medication, following specific dietary instructions, and making sure your pet is safe and happy, I can do it all! I am free this summer to help you and your pet in anyway I can! With my open schedule, I feel as if I can accommodate many different times. I believe the best way to care for your pet is to keep them to their usual schedule. I can play for designated times in your backyard or take your dog to the dog park if that is what you prefer. I also love to go on long sniff walks or just short potty breaks. I can crate your dog before I leave or leave them in the living room with their favorite tv show on. Whatever works best for your dog!

Van L.
“As a pet owner who is way too attached to her cat, I enthusiastically recommend Van as a conscientious and caring pet sitter. I know that she will care for my Rose as I would. I am more comfortable leaving Rose with Van because she really relates to each animal individually. I know this because I’ve seen her volunteering in Vet and pet shelter, and I observe the way she learns the personality quirks of each one. Every single one she keeps forms a bond with her. When I leave Rose, it is important for me to know that more than her physical needs will be satisfied. The affection that she receives from Van makes her separation from me less stressful.”
