“Kourtney was amazing with our two dogs. We had been looking for someone to take care of both our dogs for quite sometime and we were glad to have found Kourtney. She did a great job looking out for our dogs while we were out of town. Her communication in every visit was spot on. I would definitely recommend her and we will be rebooking her for our next trip.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple animals since the age of 7. I’ve had 3 different dogs and dog breeds, and they were always loving and happy to be in my care. I currently have an 11 year old healthy yorkie who has had such a happy life filled with love, people think she’s a puppy still. I am naturally knowledgeable about important information when dealing with animals, and I’ve also been a temporary care taker for my grandma. Im currently an 18 year old who’s finished with highschool, aspiring to become a student in esthetician school so I have plenty of time for your adorable fur babies! I’m available from 6 am- 7 pm. I have a fenced backyard, an alarm system on my house, a quiet, clean home, and a calm, kind 11 year old female yorkshire terrier at home along with my mom and my 5 year old little brother.

“Nina is great! She was super flexible as my return dates fluctuated. Made my heart happy to know my crew was left in very capable hands! Will definitely use her again.”

“Katie was amazing for our sweet kitty!! She completed a meet and greet with both our animals before and immediately made friends. She is thoughtful and knowledgeable about animals’ needs and feeding patterns, and went out of her way to bond with our cat while we were gone. She sent daily pictures, stayed the entire visit and even got our mail! Thank you Katie for helping our trip go more smoothly and keeping our hearts at ease while we were gone. Will absolutely request Katie again in the future!”

“Rebekah was great! She had her hands full with all my cats and did a wonderful job caring for them and cleaning up after them. She spent a lot of time with them playing and giving them some attention. I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter!”

About: I grew up with both dogs and cats, so I've always been comfortable caring for animals. For about the past 10 years, I've helped care for pets for other families. I'm dependable, patient, and will make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you're away. I'll treat your pet like they're my own. I recently graduated from NC State in May and don't start my full-time job until mid-August, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I'm available throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, and can easily work around your pet's routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep them comfortable by following their normal routine. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, exercise or playtime, and lots of affection. I also respect your home, keep things clean, and provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for at least 10 years for friends and family. I also have three family dogs, Ribs, Biscuit, and Pete! I recently graduated from college, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day and week. I have experience both walking dogs and letting them play in a fenced in yard. My family dogs are create trained so I am also comfortable with that.
“Morgan is the best! Very reliable, and definitely goes the extra mile. I have a senior large breed that is also a diabetic and she did great with him and all his needs. Along with a chihuahua and cat. Definitely will be rebooking in the future. Thanks again!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and started informally pet sitting as a teenager — caring for animals has always felt second nature to me. I specialize in overnight and vacation care, and I'm especially comfortable with senior dogs. When I'm caring for your pets, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible — meals, walks, medications, and downtime on their schedule, not mine. I send updates and photos throughout the stay so you always know how things are going. My goal is for your pets to feel calm, cared for, and completely at home while you're away. Pet care is my full-time focus, not a side gig fit around another job. Since I run my own pet care business, I have the flexibility to offer consistent daily visits, extended overnight stays, and last-minute care when life happens. I provide care exclusively in your home, so your pet stays in their own familiar environment with their regular routine, food, and surroundings — no unfamiliar pets, no added stress of a new space. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, medication, and exercise, and keep to their normal schedule as much as possible. I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, including respecting any house rules around access, cameras, and specific areas of the home. You'll get updates and photos throughout each visit or stay so you always know how things are going.
About: Hello! I'm Beth, and I come from a family of dog and cat lovers, so I've been surrounded by pets my entire life. I genuinely adore every pet and would love the opportunity to care for yours! I am certified in dog grooming and have an Associate of Applied Science in Animal Care and Management Technology. Rest assured, your pet will be in safe hands with me. Even though I have speech difficulties and apraxia, which might make me a bit hard to understand sometimes, it never affects my love and dedication to animals—dogs understand and accept me just as I am. I promise to love and care for your pet as if they were my own. I’m a full-time maintenance worker at Walmart. I’m off Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, I go in at 7 am and get off at 4 pm. I'll watch your babies after 4 am Despite my hectic schedule, I’ll always take care of your furry buddies. In a few months, I’ll adjust the schedule. When you have time, please check the schedule and make a reservation with me. I'm a friendly person who loves dogs. Didn’t matter who it was. Walking your dog outside and sitters, I would always take care of your doggy.
“Summer is great! She was so flexible with me when booking and was great with Lilo. She even brought in a few packages that came. I will be using her in the future!”

About: Hello! My name is Katrina, I am an elementary school counselor currently saving up to buy a home! I have my own dog, Milo, a 4-year old lab mix but I have always loved dogs and have experience volunteering at service dog training facilities, shelters, and I have fostered dogs, as well! I have done dog walking and petsitting for multiple years now and have experience working with all types of dogs, small or large, reactive or non-reactive, all energy levels, and I love them all :) I will update you as much as you want on your pet when I am with him or her, I know it can be stressful to be away from them but I promise they are in good hands if they are with me! I currently work full-time so I am available after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends! I am more than happy to work with your schedule. I have a large, fenced-in backyard and my own dog that loves to spend time outside. Please let me know whether your dog is more of an indoor/outdoor dog and how I can adjust the environment to fit his/her needs.
“Megan is such a good sitter. My puppy absolutely loves spending time with her I can truly tell. Plays with her, does everything just like I ask. Wonderful and I choose Megan every time I need drop in visits. I 100% recommend her!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have experience giving oral medication, injections (insulin) & IVs under the skin. My Layla passed away in 2017 from encephalitis and she had to get IVs every day on top of other things. We got Bruce in 2018 & Rocky in 2019. They are two peas in a pod..I call them Batman & Robin. They are great with other dogs as my husband and I have had many different breeds and sizes at our home. If your fur baby gets dirty playing in the yard, we will give the a bath (with your permission of course). They will go on daily walks, have a lot of play time since I work from home and I will make sure to send you photos and updates throughout their stay. Communication is extremely important to me. We look forward to meeting you and your furbabies! I am a real estate professional and run a team here in the Triad. I work from home and have the time to care for your fur baby as a majority of my work is from my computer. Rocky and Bruce love having new playmates over as well and we have a large yard for them to run around in 😊 We have a large fenced-in back yard and a deck for them to lounge on. I never let other people’s dogs stay outside unsupervised. If they are outside, I am outside. It’s an extra step of care that is super important to me because sometimes, animals can be unpredictable, see a squirrel or a rabbit and jump the fence etc. We ensure your fur baby is safe.

“Lexie was great! She was really accommodating for a late-night potty break and followed all the directions perfectly. I appreciated her reliability and care with my two fur babies. Communication was above & beyond. I would definitely book again!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets of all kinds since I was a child and have a furry crew of 4 myself! I work full time as a pediatric nurse. Not all of my skills translate but it does mean I’m comfortable with medications and medically complex pets. I can’t wait to meet you and your crew! ❤️ I’m not currently working as a sitter I just can’t figure out how to switch over my account or open a new one with the same phone number. I have a small fenced in yard for my dogs but they much prefer to go to the bosque or other parks in the area.

“I’m so happy to have met Kat! She came to meet Remmi, our 125lb English/Italian mastiff before watching her for the first time. I feel it is important for everyone to feel comfortable in a house and dog sitting situation-not only Remmi and I, but Kat as well! I immediately felt comfortable and confident with Kat taking care of our sweet pup and home while out of town. We used Kat again soon after the first time..a VERY last minute trip. Kat responded right away and agreed to help us out-she’s wonderful! I could go on and on-she is a perfect fit for our mastiff and mainecoon kitty!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 463 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across East Bend. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in East Bend. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
