About: Hi, I would love to care for your dog! I have over 15 years of professional dog training experience, both in the DC area and on Long Island. During those years, I did extensive dog sitting. My approach is always loving, and caters to the personality and needs of your particular dog. I am just getting back into the business of pet sitting. I was a caregiver for my mom for a long time and did not the time. I do have a cat, but she prefers dogs to other cats! I am currently retired from a career in journalism and social work. I am a musician and a songwriter, which I do from my home mostly. I am able to take frequent breaks. I can provide a good neighborhood for dog walking, I know how to crate train. I do have a cat who is friendly with dogs. I can help identify and solve behavioral problems. I will undoubtedly become good friends with your dog!

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

About: I have always loved animals and I have my own as well. I take care of my senior pup along with caring for friends and families pets as well. Always a good time with extra love to give. Reliable and fun. I work five days a week at a marina however, I am always open at night and on my days off I am more than happy to care for your animals. To care for my own pet I take him out multiple times a day, I walk him, feed him, bathe him, and so much more but with other animals it varies, depending on the instructions given by the owner is what I will do along with extra love.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and love taking them on walks or for a hike. My dog Koda loves the snow so we're always out when it's snowing. I'm available a lot! I'm a part-time student, but online, so I'm available most of the day to hang out with your favorite fur animal. I have a fenced in yard so they can play outside most of the days when it's nice or even just raining. I have 1 dog, a shepsky who just loves to play with other dogs. He is super nice and gentle, not aggressive at all so I'm not able to take any aggressive dogs.

About: From the excited, to the reserved, to the elderly, I have a depth of experience to care for your animal kin. I've helped care for senior dogs when they struggled to walk down stairs, when food requirements changed on a whim, when the house has to be changed to reduce trips on tiles, and even when they can start wandering past bed time. It was not easy to care for them as puppies and it's not easy when they are elderly. But if one loves enough when they are babies, then they love enough to do the same as they are seniors. I'm between jobs and actively looking, so I have plenty of time to care for all your animal family members beyond a stop to fill bowls and empty boxes and the like. It all comes down to the first meeting. Not the first job. I want to know what you, your pets, and your house is like so I can do my very best to be attentive and observent in caring for them. This includes setting up a person emergency plan for common emergency care should it arise. Preparedness beats panic after all!

About: I’ve been an owner of golden retrievers and cats since I was a child and have been tasked to care for them from a young age. I’ve always have a kindred way with animals which is why I’ve been asked to pet sit for friends, family, neighbors since childhood. I’m fun loving, safe, reliable and a good source of energy for your pet. I would be grateful to assist you. I’m currently building a business on my own hours which means I have a very flexible schedule and can help with last minute cancellations, as well as short or long term assistance. I’m more interested in assisting in the clients home as I have multiple animals in my apartment and I share it with a couple roommates. About: As a mom of 5 teenagers, I often prefer dogs to people! (Though I am sure my girl dog, Harley, is picking up some attitude from them!) I’ve had dogs most of my life, and I have often cared for my friends and family’s pets, as well. I currently have three dogs, including a 15-year old Yorkie. Experienced with feeding, giving medicine, crates, walking, play, and, of course, petting and loving! I’m currently off for the summer, so I have lots of time to help with your dog(s)! Walking, playing, feeding, keeping them company - I am happy to make it work! I understand the importance of consistency and schedules, so I am happy to follow your rules and preferences for your dog. While I will love them as if they were my own, I won’t return them as if I sent them to my Grandma’s to be spoiled! I believe in positive reinforcement, treats if you do them, lots of love and positive words, playtime, and meeting them where they’re at.

She stopped by AFTER a full days work, which was at least another 20 minutes in the opposite direction from me. Despite these logistics, Emily showed up consistently early evening immediately after her work day. She performed all the duties necessary during each visit, plus she performed some special handling for a package that arrived while I was away. I would not hesitate using her again, and would recommend her.”
