I am an owner of a special needs dog (diabetic) and was wondering if Rover has a way to search for dog sitters who list injected medication administration under their skills? I spend a lot of time going through profiles looking for someone that can take care of insulin shots...a bit frustrating.

Came here searching for the same answer! Rover needs to add more search criteria; I could have sworn you used to be able to search for sitters who had senior dog experience, etc.

I love caring for senior & special needs dogs so my profile says it. What I always wonder is if you ask someone if they know how & they say yes, but it's not mentioned on their profile, do they really want to? Do they enjoy it or would they rather not? I think there should be a way to find them.
Under filter you can search by dog first aid certified. Most sitters who are certified first aid know how to do injected medicines as well
Search profiles. I have experience with any medical issues, whelping, special needs and medication that you could possibly imagine. But, I do agree that it should be easier to search.
