Does the background check perform a soft or a hard pull on my credit history?

Looking to gather information on the effect of the background check since there isn't much information on the help article.

Note: Would be helpful to have it added

They don't check your credit score. It is just a permission thing where the credit check is mentioned but Rover doesn't actually check anything that has to do with your credit, they are just doing a criminal background check.
