Not hearing back from clients - No showing up as available - Help!?

I have two pending requests, one for a meet and greet. Waiting the hear back from the client to see if they are available this weekend. Also another one for 2 drop in visits this weekend. With that one we completed the meet and greet, agreed to services, and I sent her a message to confirm the booking. I am still waiting to hear back from her as well. I am supposed to watch her dog in two days. I have emailed her and heard nothing.

Two part question;

1) What do I do if the drop in visit doesn't confirm the booking before this weekend when I am supposed to 'drop in'? Also needing advice for following up with her again.

2) My profiles says, "Until this request is booked or archived you may not appear in search for these dates"... This doesn't really seem fair because I technically AM available. The one pending is just a meet in greet and the other is two drop in visits for 30 mins each. Do I archive these? Not worry about it or keep following up with the clients?

Appreciate any help and advice, I like Rover but am a little confused as to how this all works.

(1) Message the client again, explaining very clearly that the drop-in visit needs to be paid for before you can perform the service due to Rover's insurance, etc. I assume you don't have the customer's keys and/or access codes, do you?

(2) Just archive the requests. It is merely procedural. The customer can respond to you even if you've archived it.

Thank you- Should I text the client or do it through Rover using text as a last resort. I do not have the keys but I do know where the keys will be kept. Client is already out of town and has several people watching her dog. I got the weekend shift.

I do not know the other people helping the client. I am worried she will think I am showing up and I won' t and the poor dog will be neglected. This is my first booking through Rover. Can you tell? Im overly nervous perhaps.

Text her directly and through Rover's system. Is there any emergency contact info?
