About: As a pre-veterinary student, I am currently seeking a little side business to help me pay for my education. I work as a veterinary technician assistant at my neighborhood animal hospital. I've worked in veterinary care for the last two years, dealing with animals. I've been working with animals for more than five years. I am able to raise awareness about the need of animal welfare. Additionally, I have a lot of abilities and can provide medication to any pet that is currently on medication if necessary. About: For the past 6 years or so, I have been trusted to take care of family and family friends' animals while they are on vacation, leaving them worry-free knowing that their beloved fur babies are well taken care of and comfortable. I also have cared for senior dogs and have no problems accommodating their needs to make them as comfortable and happy as possible. I'm currently working from home, so I will always be here with the pets and can keep them entertained throughout the day. My schedule is pretty open, and I have no problem working the pets that I am sitting into my schedule if something comes up. I have a massive yard at home with plenty of room to run around and explore, lots of toys too, so there is always something for them to do, and giving them their own little vacation away from home. Being in the client's home is even better, allowing the pets to be in a familiar place while also having a new friend to play with. Following a set schedule with feeding and activity is something that I love to stick to; this keeps everyone as happy as possible.

About: I had my first ever dog when I was in seventh grade, and now I'm currently about to graduate community college. My first dog, Nala, was actually a stray who came into my parents house through the garage during a movie night and laid with me. Nala and I have been best friends ever since. I helped her birth three pups, two girls and one boy. Nala is not good with other dogs, so I do have experience with dogs being dog reactive. I also know how to react under high pressure situations like dog attacks! I currently work for Target for the holidays & usually have my schedule for the next 2-3 weeks out! If house sitting or dog drop ins i usually go around my schedule! In my home I treat my dog Nala like the princess she is. She is a bit older so she isnt as active as she used to be but she does still get the zoomies sometimes! As for other peoples homes, I always treat them BETTER than i would my own. Their dogs too, i know its stressful leaving your home open to a stranger on top of leaving your dog(s) with said stranger. I am always giving updates to clients whether its messages, pictures or videos!

About: I've loved animals since I was young, and any day I get to spend with an animal , especially a dog, is a good day. I currently have a Shiba Inu puppy of my own, and have had a border collie mix in the past. I've dog sitted for "difficult" and anxious dogs and always won them over! About: I have taken care of my aunts dogs for years and her nieghbors dogs as well. I even taught one of the dogs to go outside meaning potty train. I am available weekends and weekday also. I take them walking and play fetch with them. They love it. I have three people beside my aunts who I dog sit for. About: I grew up in a house that always had pets - cats, dogs, or both! As a teenager, I began to take a very active role in taking care of our animals and have not stopped since. I adopted my own dog in 2020 after I graduated college, and my husband and I adopted another dog last year. We adore our dogs and prioritize their care at every turn with extra attention to details like mental stimulation, plenty of exercise and homemade dog food. I have the most experience with medium to larger sized dogs, but am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I also have experience taking care of senior dogs and dogs with unique medical concerns that require special medication or attention, such as allergies, tremors, and ear infections. I am well equipped to handle whatever specific care your fur baby might need, and look forward to the opportunity to step in and love on them while you are away! I currently work full-time, but have flexibility with when I take my breaks. My husband (who will help me with any boarding responsibilities) also works but is completely remote and thus has lots of flexibility. However, my evenings and weekends are typically wide open. At our home, we have a fenced in backyard, security cameras and floodlights, and live in a neighborhood with lots of sidewalk access. We have a routine with our own dogs that includes twice daily feedings, bathroom breaks every few hours, daily mile long walks, evening play sessions, homemade dog food, and lots of cuddles. We do not crate our dogs because they are well behaved enough to be trusted, but we have an extra crate or can accommodate your crate in our home pending your preferences. I am quite familiar with the greater San Antonio area and feel comfortable getting out to walk dogs in other parts of the city. I believe in keeping furry friends as close to their routine as possible while their owners are away to minimize stress and anxiety and make sure they feel loved. That said, I always take guidance from pet parents when traveling to take care of new pets!
