About: **I currently have two dogs of my own, but they stay at my partner's home if I am boarding your dog!** Hi! I’m a PhD student who has called St. Louis home for the past five years, and I’m currently in the final stages of writing my dissertation. The good news for your pets? I work from home, so I have plenty of time for walks, belly rubs, playtime, and keeping your furry friends company while you’re away! I am located in The Grove with access to a dog park at my apartment complex as well as walking distance to both Forest Park & Tower Grove Park for pups that enjoy long walks. One of my dogs loves people and dislikes other dogs, while the other one enjoys dogs and is wary of people so I have experience with a variety of dog personalities and their differing needs. Whether your pet is a professional cuddler, an energetic adventurer, or simply here for the treats, I’d love to spoil them ◡̈ Since I work from home while finishing my PhD dissertation, pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to take plenty of breaks throughout the day for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. 🐾 My schedule is much more “read a paper, take a dog for a walk, write a paragraph, give belly rubs” than a traditional 9-to-5. I can easily adapt to the schedule of your pup! I’m happy to build pet care into my day and give your pets plenty of attention rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Having a furry coworker around is honestly a pretty great dissertation-writing perk! 😂 Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or theirs, I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable and relaxed. I always keep a close eye on pets during walks and playtime. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide plenty of supervision and companionship throughout the day. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can see what your furry family member is up to. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is safe & happy!

About: Hello! My name is Medona but I prefer to go by Ruby! I grew up with dogs in my house and pets have become family members. I literally take them out every time I'm out hiking, shopping, picnics, etc. I have experience working with kids and the elderly so I am very patient and responsible. As a person who loves what Utah has to offer, I would love to have a buddy with me to hit the hiking trails. I'm more than willing to work along your regular schedule for your dogs regarding feeding, walk, and medication time too. As a dog owner myself, I get very anxious about how my favorite boy is doing so I usually send daily updates to make sure you have peace of mind. My partner takes care of my dog (Mani) when I'm watching other pets so there would be no interactions with Mani unless you feel comfortable! My weekend starts at noon on Friday.

About: I have two super goofy, friendly, and loving male Pit bulls. I work from home so will be around pretty much all the time. I take my dogs on a walk mostly 3 times a day but again I’m around a lot and get bored easily so might be 5 times a day :) My dogs are definitely spoiled and should not expect anything less for your pet when I’m watching them! I have experience with senior dogs and dogs who need special care such as taking medicine. Mostly home all day and night. I work from home so your pet will always be attended too unless I leave to make a quick errand run. My dogs do have cages but they are barely in them. Whenever I do leave my dogs stay out freely but they do well in their cages when needed. They do get along very well with other pets. Small dogs or large dogs.

About: I've spent much of my life living with and caring for dogs--from growing up with dogs throughout childhood, to helping care for dogs as an adult, to having Spencer, my most recent dog. I don't currently have pets of my own, which means visiting dogs get my full attention and don't have to adjust to unfamiliar resident animals. I genuinely miss having a dog around! I work from home and love the idea of giving someone's dog a cozy, low-stress place to stay while their humans are away. I intentionally accept dogs from only one household at a time, so I'm able to get to know their routine, personality, and quirks and make sure they get lots of individual attention. I have a dog door that suits a large dog and a fenced-in backyard in beautiful Southwest Garden, across from The Hill. I'm comfortable following detailed feeding and medication instructions and am happy to care for senior dogs. I'm currently focusing on friendly, reliably housetrained adult small and medium dogs that I can comfortably handle on leash. I prefer a meet-and-greet before a first stay so that both the dog and I can ensure we're comfortable together. And I love sending photos and updates! Getting pictures of Spencer when I traveled always made me happy, so I'm delighted to do the same for you. I work from home Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm, so I’m home much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of attention into my routine. I live on a quiet, tree-lined street with sidewalks and no through traffic, just ten houses from Sublette Park. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.

About: I’ve had animals all my life from seniors to littler of puppies. I’ve been to classes to teach and have taken care of multiple pets through hospice. I’ve raised a hand full of litters and pride myself on a loving and fun home for my animals! I can fit almost any Animal within my schedule and around my other small pup! We go on frequent walks and have play time throughout the day. I have a large fenced yard where pets can safely play, exercise, and enjoy some outdoor time. I provide fresh water, supervision, and a safe, comfortable environment. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and care instructions.

About: I run a 5k every day and can handle large or small dogs. For boarding I have 2 acres of fenced in grass nearby where I run by husky at daily. My experience : I've had dogs in my home since I was 7 and was tasked with their walks and training. I now have a 2yo siberian Husky, Shryko, who I have off-leash trained for hikes and river adventures. So I'm very active, and my dogs have a lot of enriched exploring and exercise. All this with only treats, praise and regular patient consistency. I am a circus artist and entertainer by nights and weekends when the work is available. I spend most week days free at home honing my skill set and arranging bookings. Therefore plenty of time to head out for walks, or break and enrich a dog's day with playtime. I have a fenced in yard and large living room. 1 dog, 8 month 40lb siberian husky girl who loves company and playtime. Also have a large crate if separation is needed.
