“Whitney treated willow so well! even though it was a very short stay, Whitney sent pictures and videos of willow and willow got along great with her dogs!”

“Miss Jennifer was wonderful! I was glad she suggested a meet and greet before the stay. She was easy to communicate with and kept in touch during Gabby’s stay with pics and videos. Was understanding about medication. I felt like she spoiled my baby even more than me! I would highly recommend and will use her again for sure!”

“We were so relieved our whole trip leaving our two large babies with Talhia. They’re high energy and she made sure they walked and even went for runs outside. I had so many picture updates throughout the day so I was always happy knowing they looked comfortable. She even bought us a small bag of food cause I under-calc how much food to send. Definitely enjoyed having her watch our babies, will def be using her again!”

“Anna is always wonderful with my Nahla. This is my second time having Nahla board with her. She’s very accommodating and sends updates daily. I love that Nahla enjoys their fenced backyard!! She goes in happily every time seeing Anna!”

“Bailey’s stay with Morgan was FABULOUS! I volunteer for Lost Dogs Illinois so I know firsthand how many dogs are lost when with a sitter. Morgan was super patient with my many questions and happily allowed a meet and greet in advance of Bailey’s stay so I could see her home and yard. When we arrived for Bailey’s stay, Mason and Morgan had it planned very carefully for a safe introduction to another dog staying with them and their dog, Tug. During her stay, Bailey enjoyed playing with Tug and the other pup visiting. Morgan sent me photo and video updates and was always super speedy in her responses to my texts. I could not be happier with Bailey’s stay with Morgan, Mason, and Tug. I’m sure she’ll be back with Morgan when we visit our Bama student again in the future.”

“I thank God that I chose Quadricka to book with. She made me feel very at ease about leaving my Bailey with her. She has the most welcoming spirit and her personality certainly matches her bio. Her home is very nice, comfy, and very clean which means a lot. She sent pics of Bailey, kept me updated, and she also was very responsive if I checked on him. He was happy and energetic when I dropped him off and when I picked up him up! She is definitely a 10/10 so book with her today because she is definitely my sitter from now on out.”

“Marisela really saved the day for us when we needed a last minute sitter. My highest recommendation! Thank you, Marisela.”

“She was great. She sent us pictures daily and our pup came home happy.”

About: I am super flexible and comfortable with dog care. I currently have an energetic young german shepherd so I understand the importance of dogs getting lots of exercise so that they can relax throughout the day. The main breeds I have experience with are Labs/Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Mixed Breed herding dogs, and Horses! I understand when dogs want to play and when they need their own space to relax. I currently have a german shepherd that I exercise twice a day either by walking, hiking, fetching or chasing hose water. Typically, I do one of these activities in the morning and one in the evening. My dog is free fed throughout the day, but I am familiar with dogs that prefer the routine of scheduled feeding or don't have self control, so I am comfortable following the routine that the dog is used to. I have a great walkable neighborhood, but I am very familiar with great places to walk and hike with dogs throughout the city. I am a grad student with lots of flexibility so my schedule is different from week to week, during the summer I will have lots of time each day to spend with your pup, but during the year I will provide excersize but less one-on-one time. I have a fenced in yard and a 1900 square foot home with hard surfaced floors. I don't allow my dogs on furniture, but if your dog is used to it, that is not currently a concern. My fences are sturdy and chain link, and about four feet tall. I prefer dogs that are crate trained overnight, and am happy to provide my own crates for them to sleep in. If they are not, I would happy to set up a play pen environment for them to be in!

About: I’ve taken care of pets for over four years, longer including pet care for family dogs. During my time as a pet sitter, I have stuck to schedules, administered medication, and helped with training different dogs. I currently take one class for the month of June, it’s a morning class so I will have plenty of time in the afternoon and evening to make sure each pet gets adequate breaks and playtime. I keep a very close eye on each pet in my care. When trusted with the care of any pet, I believe that it is my responsibility to ensure the safety at all costs for each and every pet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses and goats since I was 6. I grew up training and riding horses and that spilled over into helping train dogs in high school and college, as well as rescuing and fostering strays/dumped animals. I have 2 dogs of my own and know that not having peace of mind about your pets while on vacation doesn’t feel much like a vacation. I can give you the peace of mind knowing your fur babies are being greatly cared for and loved on! I have 2 dogs of my own so I already have my daily schedule planned out where I can go home on my lunch breaks to care for and let dogs out to potty. I work at UA and live 5 mins from my office I can care for pets in my home or your home. I prioritize their safety and well-being first! I follow eating/meal schedules and can let out for potty breaks as often as needed. I have a fenced in yard, perfect for dogs to run and play, throw the ball around with them and sun bathe! In the summer/winter, I am extremely careful and cautious about the temperature for dogs being outside and pay attention to time of day for walks with the temp of the pavement in mind during the summer. I can guarantee you they will be well cared for and loved on like they’re my own!

“Lauren was the best! I had to make an emergency last minute booking and she was extremely flexible. Not only did she take great care of my dog, but she gave me status updates. I really appreciated her service and will most certainly be going straight to her if when I need to board my dog again. Thank you Lauren and your little dog Theo!”

About: I’ve fostered over 40 dogs, from newborn puppies to senior rescues, and every single one has left a pawprint on my heart. I’m the go-to person in our foster network for giving first baths to new rescues, and I specialize in helping puppies transition from chaos to comfort—through gentle training, structure, and tons of love. Animals have always been a central part of my life. When people ask if I have kids, I proudly say, “I have dogs.” My dogs are my family, and any animal that stays with me is treated like one of my own—spoiled, safe, and deeply loved. What sets me apart is not just my experience, but my commitment. I don’t just watch animals—I nurture them. Whether it’s helping a nervous pup learn to trust or making sure a senior dog has the comfort and care they deserve, I pour my heart into every animal I meet. My home is calm, cozy, and designed with pets in mind, and I’m dedicated to making sure every dog that boards here feels like they’ve found a second home. Pet care is my daily and weekly routine. When I’m not at work, I’m with my dogs—whether that’s going for walks, playing outside, or snuggling on the couch. Every night when I get home, they are my first priority. I plan my evenings around their needs to make sure they’re exercised, mentally stimulated, and, most importantly, loved. Weekends are fully dedicated to them. We spend lots of time outside, staying active and enjoying fresh air together. I’ve created a home environment where animals feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Whether it’s my own dogs or ones I’m caring for, they’re never an afterthought—they’re the heart of my routine. When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where they can relax, play, and feel at home. I follow their routine as closely as possible—whether that means specific feeding times, walks, medication, or cuddle preferences. I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, outdoor time, and stimulation throughout the day. I’m also experienced with crate training, puppy routines, and senior care, so I tailor my care to each dog’s age, energy level, and needs. Whether they love fetch or just want to nap in a sunny spot, I make sure they’re comfortable and happy from the moment they arrive.

About: I’ve taken care of plenty of dogs and cats over the years. I have grown up with four dogs and two cats— and I love spending time with them! I’m currently working but have plenty of time for drop in and walks on Tuesday and Thursdays as well as over the weekends! Availability changes daily so feel free to ask for anything! I don’t have any dogs living with me but would probably prefer you to bring your dogs crate during the night. I have a nice area to walk your dog when they need to go out!

9. Sarah Jane D.
“If you are looking for someone in the area who will love your pet like her own, Sarah Jane is your person! I have seen firsthand how gentle, patient, and thoughtful she is. Not just with her own cute (and very energetic!) German Shepherd, Annie, but with every animal she meets. She is the kind of person who does her research. I am pretty sure she has read every article on how Alabama’s heat and humidity affect dogs, and she adjusts care routines accordingly. Whether it is keeping pets cool in the summer or knowing when a dog needs a little extra calm time, she is attentive and responsive. Sarah Jane grew up with Labs and Goldens, has lived with both cats and dogs (at the same time!), and even works at a horse therapy center (TROT). You can be confident that she is comfortable around animals of all kinds and sizes. She has a calm energy that puts even the most anxious pets at ease. And when I say she is dependable, I mean it. She is the kind of friend you would ask for a 3am airport ride, knowing for sure that she would show up on time. I would one hundred percent trust her with my pets (and honestly, my future kids too). Your pet will be in kind, capable, and loving hands with Sarah Jane! :)”
