Your fur baby will be on vacation too, we walk at least twice a day not short walks all the way up too 2.5 miles dependent on their level of exercise. We play fetch and we snuggle. I provide numerous toys from stuffed to indestructible to accommodate their toughness, let me love on your babies and leave you worry free. I love sending updates (the more the merrier) the genuine care and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. With experience caring for both playful puppies and gentle senior dogs, I understand the unique needs that come with every stage of life. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to details I also have a background in healthcare, which has taught me the importance of responsibility, routine, and compassion,qualities that I bring into every pet-sitting experience. Available for walks and check ins after 5pm Monday through Friday and any time during Saturday and sunday I can easily crate your dog if needed, back porch closed in, quite neighborhood. About: I have cared for my own dogs and cats for over 40 years. I have not done this professionally, other than helping out friends and families while on vacation. I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet and home is cared for while you are away. If there are gatherings I am usually the one hanging out with the dogs/cats and keeping them at ease when there are a bunch of people around. I am available early mornings and late afternoons and evenings and most weekends I am available any hours...but I have some flexibility to meet other needs. In our yard I try to train them to stay in the yard. I have done leash yard training but typically let them run around. When had a fence yard I typically left my dogs out as much as possible.

About: I've been working with dogs since I was 9 years old. It started at a summer camp located at my local shelter and at home with our own dogs. At 18 I helped foster 2-week-old kittens that were born in our front yard and abandoned by their mom. I have worked with many different dogs and have been house sitting since I was 16 years old with different types of dogs and different care levels, from needing to give elderly dogs medication to hyper puppies who need lots of play time. I fit in Pet care into my daily routine by waking up at a specific time every morning to take care my own dog out for a morning potty break, then it is breakfast time, then an hour after is a morning walk, after I have lunch is a shorter afternoon walk and before dinner is an evening walk, with several potty breaks scattered reasonably every 3 hours to make sure. Sometimes I take my own dog on small hikes or to the dog park to get some more socialization in. Outside of my hobbies and schooling pet care is my life. This does depend on what I am hired for, if I am hired for potty breaks and play time then I do just that, I arrive at the home, let the dog out to go potty, take a walk play with some toys. If I am housesitting, then I follow the schedule the owners have their dogs on as to not disrupt the dog's stability.

My schedule is opened up quite a bit so I'm just doing some doordashing on the side so I'm more than available and capable of spending time with your fur babies. About: While I don't currently have a dog, my ex-wife and I had a wonderful Goldendoodle together. We got her therapy trained, which says a lot about us and of the dog we had. It was a great experience, and this dog single handedly converted me to a dog lover. I currently work from home and am living alone, so I have some flexibility on the weekends. If I continue to do this, I will look at opening time during the week since I also hvae some flexibility in my current position. I don't have a fenced in yard, but our apartment complex has a small dog-park, and another official dog park within 2 miles. I also understand the importance of a dog needing to be outside for walks for not only exercise, but for mental stimulation as well. I also love taking dogs on a card ride.

I have 4 years of experience volunteering at the local humane society, caring for cats, medicating occasionally, and walking dogs if needed. I work at a dog daycare as a kennel tech whenever I’m not volunteering. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and cats, and I’d love to take your dog for a walk or drop in for care, or even stay with them in their own home to ensure your pet is extra comfortable in a familiar environment.
