“This was my first experience using rover. I was worried as I was out of the country for a week. However, Maegan exceeded my expectations. She was great with communication and updates. I knew my cat was in good hands and I didn’t have to worry. I will definitely be using her in the future. Thanks again!”

“From the first time I met Jordan, I knew my cat Bobby would be in good hands. I always felt informed about how things were going thanks to her excellent communication and regular updates. I had expected to worry at least a little about Bobby during my vacation, but Jordan put that to rest with her first status update. Highly, highly recommend.”

“Stephanie was fantastic with dropping in on our cat when we were out of town! She logged detailed notes about her visits, took pictures each visit, and was diligent and thorough. Would absolutely hire her again and would recommend her to anybody.”

“I'm very happy with how my two dogs were cared for. One has a persistent problem with one of his ears, and she was very consistent with looking after it and giving him his medication when needed. Probably more consistent than I am normally. Usually by the time I get home his infection has gotten worse and requires a lot of attention to get it back under control. But this time he was his usual self when we got home!”

I like to engage in playtime, go on walks and even teach some new tricks.

About: I have many pets at home (10 to be exact) and they are the best part of each day. I would love to get to know yours as well! I just took a break from college, so I have a lot of free time. I am still available on weekends but not full time because of work. Weekdays are totally free! My main goal is to make your pets feel safe and comfortable with me. I will do what’s needed to make them feel as though they can trust me.

About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is for your babies to have the best care they can. With over a year of experience taking care of fur babies, I do my best to do just that. I love being able to spend quality time with pets and giving them the love and attention they deserve! As a full time student at South Alabama, it’s very important that I find time to do something that I love, and taking care of animals is one of those things. Though I typically have classes all day on Mondays and Wednesdays, the other days of the week are mostly open for me to come in and spend some quality time with your pets! We can always discuss more details and what will work best for you and your baby! By coming in-home to take care of your pet, I offer them the safety and comfort of being in their own home, but I can also take them places like the park to get their energy out and let them have some fun!

About: I grew up with two dogs and now frequently take care of my sister’s pitbull, Squishy! I love taking dog’s for walks (long or short), playing fetch, or even just chilling with them in the house! I currently work full-time and my schedule can vary week-to-week. I would love nothing more than to take care of your pet during my time-off so please reach out! I will always be sure to respect your home and pet! I look forward to working with your pet’s needs to ensure they live the best life possible!

About: With over 5 years of experience in pet sitting, I have a deep passion for animals and a natural ability to care for them. I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently have three pets of my own. I love not only looking after pets but also training them and helping them feel comfortable and happy in any environment. Your pet will be treated like part of the family! I am a recent graduate from the University of South Alabama and am working full time as a diagnostic technician on the weekdays. I am available in the afternoons and on weekends. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities. I create a safe, secure environment for your dog, whether it’s through proper crate training, monitoring during walks, or supervising playtime. With experience caring for dogs of all temperaments, ages, and breeds, I’m equipped to handle any situation with patience and understanding. I can also take your dog on regular walks or trips to the park, ensuring they get the exercise and mental stimulation they need while you're away. You can trust that your pet will be in caring, capable hands.

About: Pets have always been apart of my life! I grew up with a variety of breeds of dogs. I have even had a few pet birds! As a teenager & young adult, pet sitting has been a frequent side gig of mine that has brought me joy and a way to help support my growing family. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule can be very flexible. I am home the majority of the time and able to give your pet lots of attention and love. I would love to make your needs work around my schedule! I have a large backyard that is fully fenced. For your pets safety, they will always be supervised and not left alone outside or be exposed to extreme heat or cold. I take daily walks with my children and your pet, always leashed for safety. I keep a large crate with comfortable bedding for sleeping. I do have 2 toddlers who adore animals & the entertainment that often comes along with them. Because of this, I can only accept pets that are known to be good with children.

“Anna was absolutely awesome with my dog Dana! Every time she came to check on her she would make sure she got the exercise she needed and would hang out with her for a bit to make sure she had some company while me and my boyfriend were out of town. We got the cutest pictures of Dana all throughout the day and we had a great vacation knowing that our pup was in the best hands. Thank you Anna! I’ll definitely be rebooking with you in the future.”

About: Having grown up with dogs in the house, you could say I have a lifetime of experience with them. From adopting a puppy to handling senior healthcare; to living with husky fur machines; to growing up with dogs ranging in size from small scotties to large greyhounds; I am a seasoned dog owner and lover. Although I do not have my own at the moment, I love platforms like these that allow pet lovers like myself the ability to spend time and care for others’ companions while allowing owners a sense of relief that their pet is in good hands while being away. I currently work an 8-5 job. This allows me to have an hour for lunch that I can take to do a midday check or quick walk if needed. I am an active individual, so hyper dogs are not an issue. I live in a nice neighborhood where walking routes are convenient and enjoyable. I live in a 1br condo in midtown. For larger dogs, it may not be the most comfortable for longer term stays. If you typically crate your pet, please provide your own crate. For visiting pets in a client’s home, I am flexible and have no problem mimicking their pets’ typical routine. Please be aware that my job is an 8-5. Depending on how close their house is to my job, I can visit up to 3x a day (morning/afternoon/evening).

About: I've had and taken care of various animals for as long as I can remember! My family includes two dogs and three cats (all rescues), as well as an African Sideneck Turtle named Nelson who has two granulated catfish friends that live with him. I'm patient and willing to attend to your pet's specific needs. I'm open to baths and grooming, walks, playtime, and my home is about as animal friendly as you can imagine! I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies, and giving them the home away from home they deserve. I'm working from home at the moment, so I have plenty of time to be attentive to your babies! My schedule is extremely flexible, so I'm able to accommodate your particular needs and tailor to a schedule that works for you. I have a fenced in yard, and two medium/large dogs of my own that absolutely love to meet new friends! We love to play, snuggle, get the occasional treat, and hang out together pretty much all the time. I've got a great structure for bathing/grooming if needed, and plenty of space to make sure everyone is comfortable.

“Jessica stepped up for me when I had to go out of town for an entire month! She checked in on my cat daily or every other day as scheduled (even after getting in a car wreck one day!) and made sure to get some play time in. Jessica was super easy to work with, very responsive through messaging, and always took several photos on visit days. She eased my worries and made sure my kitty’s behavior didn’t change. Highly recommend for cat owners!”

About: I’ve taken care of my family’s, neighbor’s, and friend’s pets since high school. I have experience with small and large dogs, puppies, and elderly dogs. I love animals so much, and have so much love to give as we don’t have a dog of our own right now. I am an active, stay at home mom to two young kids. They are both in school at the same time for two days a week, so I have that time completely free. I am also available some weekends. I am happy to travel to your home to take care of your animals, take them on walks, and give them plenty of love and attention and play time.

Madison T.
“Maddie loves animals, particularly dogs. She has a level head on her with a fair amount of common sense. She has experience as a previous dog owner and a current cat owner. She currently is not at a place in her life where owning a dog makes sense, but she wants to dog sit to fill that desire as well as make some money.”

Emily S.
“Taylor is great. We have a diabetic dog who required careful monitoring of his insulin injections as well as two cats with their own needs. Taylor would always write down the time of day the insulin was given and how much food our dog ate. The cats were always given special attention and even enrichment too! I highly recommend her.”
