Dog Walkers in Charlotte, IA

About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

Small quiet neighborhood by the river. Nice size pet friendly home. I know she had her hands full with our puppy with her cats. Puppy never had been around cats before. About: I've had many cats through the years. Currently have 5 of my own including 2 sphynx. I have sadly lost a few cats over the years and I've had to take care of my sick babies so I'm not afraid to take care of sick pets or give medicine as needed. Currently I have to give one of my own cats medicine every other day for his asthma. I'm just a animal lover. Most animals like me. I've also had a couple of dogs over the years but don't currently have any but I love them. I love walking them and playing with them. I'm so looking forward to taking care of your fur babies. 😊 I work full time in Freeport but get an hour break so am available for 30 min walks or drop ins during that time. Also am available after work and most weekends. I clean litter boxes every couple of days and play with my cats daily. Make sure they always have food and water. Wet food in the morning and sometimes treats. Walks too of course. I make sure they get all the love and attention they want and need.

About: My name is Kassidy. I have had dogs my whole life. I currently work at a vet clinic and am very comfortable with all sizes of dogs. Let me walk your dog! I work full time at a vet clinic. I can easily let out your dog before work, on my lunch break and after work if needed. I currently have three dogs of my own. They have a fenced in yard. All three of my dogs are up to date on vaccines as well.

About: I have had a dog my entire life. I have worked as a dog bather in the past for 8 plus years. I get alone with all dogs and make friends with everyone I meet. I like to get to know and meet all new dog family members. I watch family members dogs often when they go out of town. I am free everyday to take care of anyone dog that needs care and love. Right now I’m available anytime needed just not at night when I might be asleep I take my own dog for a walk everyday around the neighborhood. I bath him once a week and love playing with him and his toys outside getting all the energy out of him till he ready for a good nap

About: I've had different types of pets my whole life - dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, etc. I harbor so much love and passion for animals and positive care. I have experience as kennel staff at a vet clinic where I fed and cleaned up after cats & dogs, and walked & bathed dogs as needed. I've cared for puppies, kittens, as well as senior cats and dogs. I have experience giving medication such as pills, chewables, liquid oral meds with a syringe, and insulin shots for a diabetic cat. I work full-time as a paraeducator, so while school is out my schedule is pretty flexible for the summer to pet-sit and go on routine walks with pets as needed. Caring for pets in my clients' homes, I calmly greet pets upon arrival so I don't over-excite them. I follow owners' specific instructions thoroughly to ensure safe and proper care for each animal and their individual needs. If I am letting animals out for a walk or into a yard, I check to make sure fences/gates and that leashes/tie-out lines are safe and secure before having the pets go outside.

About: I have a lot of experience with many different ages and types of pets and love to treat them as my own. I have been hired by many families to care for their pets ranging from guinea pigs to multiple dog households who rely on my responsibility and care. Not only is it important to me for your pets to trust me but also owners to trust my abilities to take care of your pets needs! I am prepared to do whatever your pet needs to feel comfortable and loved! I am currently working part time shifts ranging from 9am-3pm. I am available to look after your pets before my shifts, after, and night/overnight. Your pets will be my number one priority in making sure I give them the best care and attention! I pay close attention to them to know what they need whether it be food, going outside, playtime, or just being snuggled! Any accommodations your pets need will be given to them as well.

About: Hi! My name is Amanda. I have worked in doggie daycare, worked as a bather and in the sales department! At work I got to experience different breeds, temperaments and personalities! My favorite part of my job is building strong relationships with the owners and their dogs! I also have experience dropping in homes while their owners are at work, school or out of town. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.

About: I do love pets! I have owned dogs, cats, horses, and a koi pond, aquariums, birds, even lizards and a pet squirrel! My farm background has included cattle and hogs too. My current fur babies are two cats. I do miss having dogs. I've had dogs for 40 years until recently. Now I just love on other peoples dogs! I am also an accomplished gardener and can help with your plant/ garden care while away. I have been to dog obedience, classes, and can help reinforce your pets training. I don't see a place to mark it on this website but I am fine with taking care of your pet bird, pond, aquariums, including exotic fish, horses, cattle and pet pigs. Let me know your preferences on keeping you updated on your pets while away. If I'm feeding your pet, I prefer a meet and greet so you are comfortable and insist on written or texted instructions on your pet's schedule in advance so it's less stressful for your pets. If they are going outside I will want to check out their fenced yard in daylight and go over any concerns for the 5 star sitter experience I offer. Right now I'm offering to walk your pet, in home visits, but I'm not offering to spend the night, or have them here at my house. I work short days 2 days a week in medical care in Sterling, and can help you before, after or lunch breaks. The other 5 days my schedule is open to travel further and to other towns I walk 3-5 miles everyday and enjoy being outside. I'm dialing down my professional work in medicine from full time to parttime to enjoy life a bit more. That is why I am new here at Rover. I can now do more things, and that includes loving more fur babies. I have a rescue cat named Tessa, she's 15 and the most snuggly cat on the planet. We sleep together. She is tiny, but the vets says she's in excellent health with fabulous teeth and labs. My huge cat Rupert is 7 and he was born on a farm, and is hard to photograph here as he covers my whole lap and then some. He has a loud purr and loves to sit a certain way on my lap. My pond is currently healthy and some of the fish are 6 inches long. I had a 3 pound koi who I trained to swim through a hoop. I loved her. Is it possible to love a fish? I did. We have a few horses renting the pasture this year. We used to own and raise gaited horses. I love horses. I think they are good at reading people, and elegant.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a little girl my love for animals is very strong and I'm going to school to be a vet tech. I can handle any personality in dogs and love to give them all the attention in the world. I currently am not employed and I'm available every day. I take online classes for vet tech. I am very flexible with schedules and will work with you and your pets needs. I live in the little town of fulton. I have a fenced in back yard for playing and I love taking walks by the river. I also like to take pets to the dog parks near me.

About: Sierra has over 20 years of pet care experience between having a range of personal animals and then going into an animal career. Sierra worked as a kennel and vet assistant for a shelter for 3 years before grooming for 9 years. She still is grooming from home. Sierra is experienced in animal CPR and first aid. Very experienced with administering medications and working with nursing animals up to senior special needs animals. Sierra has had chinchillas, rabbits, birds, bearded dragons, snakes but of course dogs and cats as well. Lucas is an avid animal lover. His animal experience comes from his own personal animals as well as he has been pet sitting for a few years. He is very active and works their energy out through long walks, hiking, and playing with toys. Lucas has had bearded dragons, snakes, dogs and cats as personal animals and loved every second of it! We believe having someone do it from Rover provides a more personalized quality of care. They recieve a lot more attention and affection through private sitters than they do in large facilities. We work together so that we can accommodate everyone's wishes. We have super high expectations of care for our animals and we like to give those same standards to those we do pet care for. We are an all around animal fanatic. We love them all furry, fuzzy, hairy, feathery, and scaley. We believe when Pet parents are on vacation their pets should be too. We fully believe in spoiling and going above and beyond. We love taking dogs to the dog park and walking in all different parts of town. We have a cat room set up in our house with tons of toys and furniture to fully satisfy their needs. We believe in animals having a lot of love and affection, especially when they are already experiencing distance from their favorite people. Animals are not only something we are very passionate about but what we have revolved our lives around. Lucas is home all day and would be available to do 24 hour care. Sierra grooms Monday through Friday 8am until 12pm-1pm. If your pet care ends on the weekend and you want your pet to be groomed, arrangements can be made. I keep all dogs leashed when outside to guarantee their safety. I recently got a fenced in dog run that I monitor dogs in so they can be off leash. I never leave pets unattended. I can kennel dogs to keep separate if needed. I am also trained in animal first aid.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family pets, working in a pet boarding/daycare facility and currently in Pet Grooming School. I am currently working full time as a dog walker and would love to spend time playing with, exercising your pets, and making sure that they are well cared for. I can assure you I will attend to and care for your dog or cat in the best possible manner. Fences and gates will always be triple checked to ensure no escapes. Leashes will be used if there is no fencing. They will always have water available and fed according to your schedule you have set for them. About: Ever since I was young, I would take care of animals. I’ve wanted to have a career working with animals for as long as I can remember. Every animal should be cared for with love and affection, from a mastiff to a guppy. They don’t get as much time on this Earth as we do, so we better make it as great as we can for them. About: I grew up on a farm. I was part of FFA (future farmers of America) and 4H growing up. I’ve cared for animals and their well being all my life. I currently work on a two week rotation. Meaning I’ll be in town for two weeks at a time, and out of town for two weeks. I’ll have weekdays from 8am to 5pm and weekends after 4pm. I have majority of the day to relax and exercise your puppies. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room for your pups to enjoy outside or if they are lazy butts; got a couch for them to relax on. I can also take your dogs on walks and or runs if that’s required for them.
