Über: EN/ES/IT DEUTSCH Hallo und willkommen! 🐾 Ich war schon immer die Person, die Freunde, Familie und Bekannte kontaktieren, wenn ihr Tier etwas mehr Geduld, Verständnis oder besondere Betreuung benötigt. Die Tiere, mit denen ich die stärkste Verbindung aufbaue, sind oft diejenigen, die Zeit brauchen, Vertrauen zu fassen, gesundheitliche Herausforderungen haben oder von anderen als „schwierig“ bezeichnet werden. Ich bin 30 Jahre alt, komme aus der Schweiz und bin nach mehreren Jahren im Vereinigten Königreich kürzlich zurückgekehrt. Tiere begleiten mich mein ganzes Leben. Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich mein Zuhause mit 7 Hunden und 6 Katzen geteilt und durfte viele weitere Tiere betreuen. Was mich besonders fasziniert, ist das Verhalten von Tieren. Ich liebe es, Körpersprache zu beobachten, Routinen zu verstehen und herauszufinden, was einem Tier Sicherheit gibt. Oft fallen mir kleine Veränderungen in Verhalten, Appetit, Energie oder Stresslevel schnell auf. Für mich beginnt gute Betreuung mit Beobachtung und Verständnis. Zu den Hunden, mit denen ich gelebt oder gearbeitet habe, gehören Deutsche Schäferhunde, Belgische Malinois, Labradore, Huskys, Jack Russell Terrier, Chihuahuas sowie Englische und Französische Bulldoggen. Diese Hunde waren alle völlig unterschiedlich und haben mir gezeigt, wie wichtig es ist, jedes Tier individuell zu betrachten. Eine besonders wertvolle Erfahrung war die Betreuung einer Belgischen Malinois-Hündin, die territorial und reaktiv war. Anstatt ihr Verhalten als Problem zu sehen, habe ich mir die Zeit genommen, ihre Auslöser kennenzulernen, ihr Vertrauen aufzubauen und ihre Grenzen zu respektieren. Solche Erfahrungen haben mein Verständnis für Hundeverhalten stark geprägt. Besonders gerne arbeite ich mit sensiblen, unsicheren oder zurückhaltenden Hunden. Zu sehen, wie ein Hund langsam Vertrauen fasst und beginnt, sich wohlzufühlen, gehört für mich zu den schönsten Aspekten der Tierbetreuung. Katzen spielen in meinem Leben eine ebenso große Rolle. Neben gesunden Katzen habe ich Erfahrung mit Katzen, die zusätzliche medizinische Unterstützung benötigen, darunter Herpesvirus, Mykoplasmen, chronische Augenerkrankungen, Epilepsie, FIV sowie sehbehinderte oder blinde Katzen. Darüber hinaus habe ich Erfahrung mit Seniorentieren und chronischen Erkrankungen wie Arthrose, Leberproblemen, Magen-Darm-Erkrankungen und eingeschränkter Mobilität. Medikamente nach tierärztlicher Anweisung zu verabreichen ist für mich selbstverständlich. Ein kleiner Fun Fact: Ich habe nicht nur meine Hunde trainiert, sondern auch meine Katze. Sie geht mit mir an der Leine wandern und beherrscht mehrere Tricks – genau wie mein Husky. 😊 Da die Tierbetreuung mein Hauptberuf ist, kann ich meine Zeit flexibel an die Bedürfnisse Ihres Tieres anpassen. Mein Ziel ist nicht einfach, auf Ihr Haustier aufzupassen. Ich möchte, dass es sich verstanden, sicher und wohl fühlt – und dass Sie die Gewissheit haben, dass Ihr Tier in aufmerksamen und erfahrenen Händen ist. ------------------------- ENGLISH Hello and welcome! 🐾 I have always been the person friends, family, and clients call when their pet needs a little extra patience, understanding, or specialised care. The animals I connect with most are often the ones who need time to trust, have medical challenges, or are sometimes described as "difficult." A quick note about this profile: we are a mother-and-daughter team who share a lifelong love for animals. While this profile represents both of us, I personally carry out the vast majority of the pet care and will usually be the person looking after your pet. My mother may occasionally assist when needed, but I will always make sure you know exactly who will be caring for your animal. I am 30 years old, originally from Switzerland, and recently moved back after spending several years in the United Kingdom. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have shared my home with 7 dogs and 6 cats and have cared for many more. What fascinates me most is animal behaviour. I love observing body language, understanding routines, and learning what makes an animal feel safe and confident. Small changes in appetite, energy levels, stress signals, or behaviour are often things I notice very quickly. For me, great pet care starts with observation and understanding. The breeds I have lived or worked with include German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Labradors, Huskies, Jack Russell Terriers, Chihuahuas, English Bulldogs, and French Bulldogs. Every one of them taught me something different and reinforced the importance of treating each animal as an individual. One of the most rewarding dogs I have cared for was a Belgian Malinois who was both reactive and territorial. Rather than seeing her behaviour as a problem, I took the time to understand her triggers, earn her trust, and respect her boundaries. Experiences like this have shaped my understanding of canine behaviour and strengthened my patience. I particularly enjoy working with dogs that need a little extra time to feel comfortable. Nervous, sensitive, anxious, or insecure dogs deserve patience, respect, and someone willing to move at their pace. Watching a dog slowly gain confidence and choose to trust you is one of the most rewarding parts of pet care for me. Cats have always been equally important in my life. In addition to caring for healthy cats, I have experience with cats requiring specialised support, including feline herpesvirus, mycoplasma infections, chronic eye conditions, epilepsy, FIV-positive cats, and visually impaired or blind cats. I also have experience caring for senior pets and animals with chronic conditions such as arthritis, liver disease, digestive disorders, mobility limitations, and long-term medication requirements. Administering medication according to veterinary instructions is something I am very comfortable with. A small fun fact about me: I did not just train my dogs—I also trained my cat. She joins me on hikes on a leash and knows several tricks, just like my Husky. 😊 Because pet care is my full-time profession, I can dedicate the time, patience, and attention that each animal deserves. My goal is not simply to care for your pet while you are away, but to make them feel safe, understood, and genuinely comfortable—and to give you complete peace of mind knowing they are in experienced and attentive hands. Bei Spaziergängen achte ich besonders auf Sicherheit, die Körpersprache des Hundes und seine individuellen Bedürfnisse. Manche Hunde lieben lange Abenteuer und neue Gerüche, andere fühlen sich bei ruhigen, strukturierten Spaziergängen wohler. Ich passe Tempo, Dauer und Umgebung immer an den jeweiligen Hund an. Bei Hausbesuchen nehme ich mir Zeit für weit mehr als nur Füttern und kurze Kontrolle. Je nach Persönlichkeit Ihres Tieres gehören Spielen, Beschäftigung, Kuscheln, mentale Auslastung oder einfach ruhige Gesellschaft selbstverständlich dazu. Besonders bei Katzen und sensiblen Hunden respektiere ich ihr Tempo und lasse ihnen die Zeit, die sie brauchen. Vertrauen ist für mich die Grundlage jeder Betreuung. During walks, I pay close attention to safety, body language, and each dog's unique needs. Some dogs thrive on adventure, new scents, and exploration, while others prefer calm and structured walks. I always adapt the pace, route, and activities to the individual dog. During home visits, I offer much more than feeding and basic care. Depending on your pet's personality, visits may include playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles, mental stimulation, or simply quiet companionship. Über: I have adopted and cared for two animals — a dog since I was 14 and a cat since I was 20, I trust and respect animals, always treat them with love and patience. My friends and acquaintances always believes in my responsibility to take care of their pet when they are busy. I am a student at eth, from June to the end of August I will be mostly free. My daily routines are some light studying and going out for a run or biking. I would be happy to combine my summer life with accompanying cute dogs/cats. I have a big lawn area in front of my house where dogs can run freely, and I am also well informed of dog friendly parks in Züri where I can take your baby for walks and socializing with other dogs. I am also up to a forest hike in Hönggerberg with your dog if he/she is into exploring the nature.
