“I honestly don’t think we could have found a better person to take care of Ziggy while we were away. This was our first time leaving him for such a long time (11 days) and being still so young, we were obviously a little anxious about it. From the very beginning, Jill made us feel completely at ease. She took the time to really get to know Ziggy, his personality, his routine and all his little quirks, and it was so clear from her messages, photos and updates how much genuine care and affection she was giving him every single day. She didn’t just feed him and take care of the practical things, she played with him, cuddled him, paid attention to his behaviour and even quickly learned all his favourite toys and little habits. She was incredibly attentive whenever we had the slightest concern and always kept us updated, which meant we could actually enjoy our holiday knowing that Ziggy was happy, safe and very loved. By the end of our trip, it was obvious that the two of them had formed their own little bond, and that honestly meant the world to us. Über: I’ve always lived with a dog ever since I was little and I have developed a strong affinity with animals. I’m particularly well-suited to looking after dogs. Ever since I moved here in Zürich, I’ve felt the need to look after a pet, that’s why I’m happy to lend a hand in my spare time! Of course I’d be glad to arrange an introductory meeting with you and your pet friend before taking on this role. I’m currently working full-time. I’d be available in the evenings on weekdays (from 6 pm onwards) and especially at weekends (more flexible). I can’t keep pets in my flat at the moment. However, there are plenty of parks nearby. If, on the other hand, you require my services for a longer period, I would be happy to help you at your home.

Über: I’ve taken care of pets (cats and dogs) since I had my cat at 13yo. Apart from my cat, I would say family and friends mostly called me for dogs, to walk them or to stay with them at their place while they were running errands. I’m waiting to start my thesis in November, so my routines now can revolve around pet care and jobs of this kind I am searching for. When I will start the thesis in a laboratory I think I will have the nights and the weekend to petsit, but I still need to understand how this project will work. I live in a dorm in which I have my own room and balcony, that is why I wouldn’t prioritize hosting pets at my place, but I can still do it. In the pet’s home I would be extremely careful to the needs and the safety of the animal and the house.

My friends and acquaintances always believes in my responsibility to take care of their pet when they are busy. I am a student at eth, from June to the end of August I will be mostly free. My daily routines are some light studying and going out for a run or biking. I would be happy to combine my summer life with accompanying cute dogs/cats. Zum nächsten Wald muss man ein bisschen laufen (ca. 15 - 20 min) aber nicht gross durch die Stadt, wenn der Hund an Bus/Tram gewöhnt ist, kann man auch etwas weiter in die Natur fahren.
