About: I have always loved animals and I hold such a soft spot in my heart for them. Growing up I had a dog, cat and bird as pets who I loved deeply until they passed away; I was their main caretaker. Now, in my adulthood I have moved around a lot and never had the stability to offer to get a pet of my own, but I as I settle more into Nova Scotia I would love to get one soon. For now, I am able to offer my time and love in any way I can and would be so excited to offer my companionship and caretaking skills through Rover. I work from home and am able to offer the time and love needed to really care for any animal. I work from home, 9-5 and have the flexibility to offer love and companionship throughout the day. I am already taking long walks mid day and after work and would be more than happy to take a pet along with me. I am new to the area and have lots of free time to visit pets at home, walk them, care for them, etc. My home has a backyard and walkway down to a quiet beach area. Backyard isn’t fenced. I also frequently visit great parks such as Ellenwood park and can take animals there with me for walks.

“Awesome communication, and very kind. Always sending pictures for daily check ins, and I would recommend Ashlyn to anybody needing a sitter! We are very lucky to have found them, and they’ve always been available when we needed them.”

I worked as a dog day care at the pawsh dog and volunteered as dogwalker at a shelter. I take care of your house and your pet, I also can go just to give food for your pet. I'm excited to meet you and your pet. I am availability any time. Please send me a message or call me. Part-time schedule and mom of a 4-year-old boy. I have plenty of time, experience and care to give your furry friend! We leave close to the beach and can go for walks. Patient, dependable, and always alert—my part-time schedule and mom skills mean your pet gets safe, attentive care every visit, walk, or stay. House is not fenced, have a huge yard.

“Nic responsibly and reliably cared for our treasured CKC Champion Toy Group furry friends. She is pleasant, professional, and completely follows instructions. Our dogs immediately loved her. We would be honoured to have her again for a drop-in visit.”

About: I work at sea so I have a rotation of 30 days ON and 30 days OFF and thus I have the flexibility to work whenever I'm needed. I don't mind the cold and if your dog has a jacket I will take them out for walks in the cold. I am currently volunteering at the local SPCA and would love to branch out with the community. My dogs at home were labs and very active with swimming at the lake, walks in the snow and runs on the beach. I am very comfortable with strong or big dogs and can handle jumping or rough play. I have a car/ DL and can transport dogs for pickups and drop-offs to good spots for walking/ running.
