About: I’ve had dogs in my house for over 10 years, as well as cats. I’m a big animal person and I also have experience on farms and with horses. I have a fairly flexible work schedule depending on the week, and I am available all evenings and most mornings, as well as on weekends. I treat all pets as if they were my own and respect clients' requests and needs for their pets. If I’m unsure of a situation I’d much rather ask the owner than assume! I also am happy to send daily updates and photos of your pets throughout my stay.

“Val did hour long drop ins for a week at our place and did an absolutely amazing job taking care of our furry friends! She was very attentive with our pets and excellent at communication. I received updates and several photos daily, which was much appreciated. Val is just the best and I won't hesitate to recommend her! We will certainly be spreading the word and using her services in the future!!! ?”

6. Mikayla R.
“Whenever I need to leave my dogs somewhere I am always very nervous about the care they receive. When Mikayla came in for the first visit I knew she would take great care of my dog Lily and she definitely did. She took her out for lots of potty breaks and play time and took some great pictures. Lily and our new arrival will definitely want to see Mikayla again!”
7. Richard G.
“I have known Richard for several years. He has always been an animal lover. He treats my dog and cat as if they were his own and they are always overjoyed to see him. He always pays attention to other people’s pets and spoils his own.”

About: Hello everyone ! My name is Lyla Waycott. I’ve got on Rover to fill up my spare time spending time with animals and making some extra cash. I work full time at Mountain View Stables in Norton, therefore my schedule is limited primarily to late afternoons and evenings. That being said, I can accommodate early morning (before 7am) walks/drop-ins. If you take a look through my photos you’ll get a glimpse of my herd! I have one horse, three dogs and two cats. That being said, I’m quite comfortable with a variety of different species. Big & small, I love them all! I also have experience administering medication to horses, dogs and cats. Thanks to a fair amount of life experience I’m quite capable and knowledgeable with animals, though always eager to learn more!! I look forward to hearing from you and your furry family members, if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to reach out!! Talk soon. Take care, Lyla && the herd ❤️ As mentioned above, my availability is primarily late afternoons (after 4pm) and evenings. Though I can make early mornings (before 7am) work as well. I already have a schedule set in place with my animals, so I’m just looking to squeeze in a few extra hours of “work” in with Rover a week!! I will always do my best to make your animals comfortable with my presence and to make our visits as enjoyable and fun for us both as possible. I’m comfortable with and able to crate dogs after my visit if need be, I have experience using shock collars and walking reactive dogs if either things are a concern. I will always respect any safety measures you have in place.

About: I am relatively new to caring for dogs but I have a way with animals and have taken care of cats for more than half my life. I am kind, detail-oriented, meticulous, and observant. I love dogs and am happy to give them loving attention and care when you cannot be there. I have experience with young, old, sick, and playful pets. I manage properties so I am used to making multiple stops a day to different locations. I am in recovery from an injury so I have a varied schedule and generally open availability for as-hoc appointments. I am very trustworthy and have always prided myself on having integrity. I am a property manager by trade so I know how to respect other’s homes, privacy, and ensure security is maintained.

About: I have worked with dogs and multiple other animals such as horses, cats and small animals (hamsters and rats) throughout my life. I have experience with puppies, pregnant moms, mature dogs and everything in between! Have a troublesome puppy? I can help! I've trained multiple dogs and have worked along side a breeder for over 5 years. Your dogs will feel relaxed and at home with me, recieve all the love and attention they could ask for. My priority is your dog; to ensure that they are comfortable, relaxed and can enjoy themselves! If you are just looking for training advice or someone to help train your dog, I can do that as well! I've taught dogs simple obedience and house manners as well as more complicated techniques that one would see in an agility course. I've also been able to help with more complex behavioural issues such as food aggression, resource guarding and dog/human reactivity. I'm currently in the process of training my girl Nova to be my service dog! I am in school full time at Wilfrid Laurier University, studying psychology and neuroscience with a minor in animal biology. I am able to take doggos for walks and do drop ins between my classes Monday-Thursday. My weekends are fairly flexible, so don't hesitate to message meat! At this time, boarding and doggy day care are closed, however I will accept an emergency board or daycare as a last resort only. I live in a small apartment building, so you don't have to worry about elevators. There are multiple fields near by, both closed in and open that I can play fetch and run around with your dogs. I also do a full clean of my place between doggy guests. My (large) puppy Nova is super friendly and enjoys the company of every dog that stops by for a couple of days or just an afternoon.
