“Amazing host for my two dogs! Kollin and his girlfriend took excellent care of them and made them feel like at home. He sent regular updates, photo and videos that made us feel very comfortable and confident that we made a great choice of entrusting our girls to Kollin. Definitely, he is our go to sitter any time we go out of town in future. Highly recommend to all!”

“I can not say how grateful we are for their care of our beloved boys. I received daily updates while traveling and pictures to reassure the boys were happy and comfortable with Bill & Tracy. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a caring environment to leave their loved ones in. I am very thankful for the reviews of others and I hope this also helps the next worried parents to be assured that your loved ones will be in good hands with Bill & Tracy. Best wishes to them and I will use them again in the future.”

“Claudia and her family were fantastic. Very welcoming and communication from booking and throughout her stay was great. Abby came home very happy. Would highly recommend and will not hesitate to book Abby to stay with them again.”

“Ranjitha has been wonderful taking care of my pup! She is very kind, communicative, and clearly shows her love towards pets! My dog has been very relaxed and comfortable in her house and enjoys regular walks. I appreciate the regular photos and updates about his day! Highly recommended and will be dropping him again soon!”

“This was my first experience leaving the most important member of our family. I want to extend my gratitude to Jayson. He has been a very kind person with my dog, sending pictures, schedules, and updates on how my dog was doing. He took care of my dog, and I feel that he did it just like I would have. Jayson is a gentle person with dogs; he connects very well with them, and you can sense that you can trust him. Thank you, Jayson, for taking care of Alma.”

“We recently had Cindy and Marc look after our dog Honey, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we dropped her off, it was clear she was in loving, capable hands. Honey can take a little time to warm up to new people, but she took to Cindy and Marc straight away, which says everything!! We received regular updates and it was obvious they genuinely cared about her comfort and happiness. When we picked Honey up, she was relaxed, happy, and clearly well loved during her stay. For Honey, it was a real home from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to trust Cindy and Marc with Honey again. Thank you both so much! 🐾”

“My pup loved going at Mariella. This was his very first stay with her but he absolutely loved it. He seems very happy and playful while there. I definitely recommend her for your pet. Pico came home so happy and was calm aa well. Thank for being amazing to him.”

“Randi did an amazing job looking after my beagle Gus! She sent lots of pictures and updates of their adventures. I felt good knowing I left Gus with someone who really cared for him and made sure he was happy and felt loved. I will definitely bring Gus back to Randi in the future!”
“This past weekend our family used Rover for the first time and Adam kindly and quickly responded to my booking request as well as any questions I had. He kept contact throughout Nova's stay and sent us pictures along the way. It was FANTASTIC to be able to go away and have her stay in a safe, warm and caring environment. We would highly recommend and hope to book with Adam again in the future.”

“Fiona and Dale are fabulous hosts. Karma had an absolute blast! We received regular pictures and communication about her adventures including videos of her swimming! She is tuckered out and had the best time! Thanks for caring so well for our sweet girl!”

“Radhika and Sayan are very pleasant to deal with. I never felt worried about being away from Leo, and received regular updates with photos which helped a lot. They treated Leo like their own. Highly recommend!”

“Gail was awesome, taking care of our dog Wally in her home for 5 days and nights in March 2026. Wally was walked 3x per day, and we felt totally comfortable after an initial meet and greet that Wally would be in good hands while we went on vacation. Gail accommodated an early morning drop off so we could catch our flights. And we got lots of pictures while away which we loved. If you need someone to take care of your dog, and love them like you do, don’t hesitate to contact Gail !”

“We were worried leaving Dexter with a sitter as he is generally very oriented and has anxiety issues. Lynn put us at ease the first day we were away with pictures that showed Dexter was happy and well taken care of. He got lots of attention and walks .We are happy, and sure Dexter was happy with Lynn and her husband. We would defiantly use Lynn again.”

“We have used Daniella twice now, and we have had such a wonderful experience both times! She is very quick to respond, reliable, and so accommodating. She was flexible with an early drop-off and a later pick-up, which was incredibly helpful for us. Our dog absolutely loved her and was so happy and comfortable with her. She also kept us updated throughout the stay by sending pictures and messages, which gave us peace of mind knowing he was doing well. We highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again in the future. We’re so happy we found her!”

“Faye was incredibly friendly with our puppy! Her own big dog Leo is very well trained. We think our puppy came home better than before we left. We would definitely recommend her for your dog sitting needs!”

“Carrie did an amazing job with Maple! ❤️ She made sure she was comfortable, kept me updated with pictures and even had a backup plan for just in case. I felt so connected to my fur baby while I was away. I truly appreciate how well she cared for Maple. 100% recommend Carrie!”

“Can’t Thank her enough for her gentle care and warmth with my buddy, Berny…!!! She took utmost care of him whilst I was away for urgent trip, timely notifications and updates, which were perfect to see him enjoying…. THANK YOU AGAIN…!!”

“I can’t thank Lynn enough! Ollie was a naughty and funny boy before, but he became antisocial after he turned 4 from 3. This winter, he often looks upset because can't play outside for too long, and he feels bored every day. I sent Ollie to Lynn’s house for 8 days due to my travel plan. This wasn’t the first time for Ollie long stay with Lynn but I still worry if Ollie can’t enjoy everything. I was so happy Lynn has many puppy guests during that week! It definitely looks like a winter camp for Ollie! It was so touching to see Ollie start playing with other big dogs, running, sweating and having so much fun there! After I picked up Ollie, he keeps smiling even came back home, seems to have so much good time during that week. Ollie just came back a happy and healthy boy! I really appreciate Lynn always giving Ollie so much patience, and caring if he is truly happy and enjoying his time. Thanks Lynn return me a silly sweet cute dog ❤️”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Woodstock
Leo had an excellent stay with Jasmeet. She was very thorough asking questions to ensure she was aware of any special concerns or needs. Leo is a 11 year old Coton du Tulear with a few minor special needs all of which were accommodated. Jasmeet sent me pictures during his overnight stay. She quickly discovered Leo’s discomfort with thunder storms and gave him comfort and took him to the basement where the storm was not so loud. He got along well with her very friendly golden retriever. I highly recommend Jasmeet. It is nice to be able to go away overnight (or for the day) knowing that he is safe and being cared for.

This is our fourth stay with Claudia and her family and I can’t imagine what more I could ask for. My girls spent the last week in a lovely comfortable home with people who clearly love them, and who in turn they clearly love and feel comfortable with. As good as it gets.

Couldn't ask for a better sitter for our dog ! Saran was amazing, super caring and great to interact with. She sent pictures and videos throughout the day/night, updating us with how everything was going. We will be using her again without a doubt and recommending her to friends !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
