“Our puppies enjoyed their stay with Lindsay and family! While they were very happy to see us return, you could tell they loved and enjoyed their weekend. Thanks for keeping them safe and well cared for!”

“John and Lynda took excellent care of our husky shepherd last week for the first time. They sent us picture updates and messages during her stay. We could tell she was very comfortable and having lots of fun too! Their yard was perfect for her to run and play in.”

“I’ve left Apollo with Karrie twice now and I’m so thankful for her help. She has excellent communication skills and is very flexible when it comes to pick ups and drop offs. Apollo seems to love his time with Karrie and Lily!”

“Pratheesksha and Nilay took excellent care of our dogs. They went on lots of walks and sent many pictures and mesages to show how our dogs were doing. Pratheeska and Nilay were very responsive, pleasant and a joy to work with. I highly recommend! Ryan”

“Julia was phenomenal. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my pup with her, I highly recommend her. My dog typically doesn’t eat while she’s in a new environment but Julia worked her magic and she was eating both breakfast and supper. For each day that we were away, she updated us with videos and photos of their adventures. Julia is extremely comfortable with animals and her knowledge and care is evident. I will be contacting her in the near future for her services. She is utterly amazing!”

“Shavon took wonderful care of our Rory. We could focus on our trip because we knew Rory was in good hands. She was also very flexible with timing. Will definitely use her services again.”

“Rebecca took care of your 7 years old GWP, Ruby. Everything went great, Rebecca even sent us an update with pictures during the stay. Ruby is medicated due to having seizures and Rebecca didn’t have any issues administering medication. I was scared Ruby may be having seizures when she comes back home due to separation anxiety, but it looks like she really had a blast. Really happy with Rebecca’s care and will be contacting her in future again to take care of our princess. Thank you so much.”

“I would give Charmaine more than five stars if I could. Every evening, I received a thoughtful update along with several photos showing my pets happy, healthy, and clearly enjoying their own vacation. She kept me informed about how they were doing, including their health, behaviour, and overall happiness, which gave me complete peace of mind. Knowing they were so well cared for made my vacation completely stress free. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional pet care.”

“Our small dog had a great experience with Wenyu. We met him and his wife as well as his dogs prior to our booking and this allowed us to put our mind at ease. A medical issue came up with our dog just before dropping her off and Wenyu had no issues with dispensing her needed medication. They took great care of her and she seemed at ease and rested when we picked her up. I highly recommend Wenyu.”

“Alyssa did a fantastic job with our dog, giving us the peace of mind that he was safe and well looked after. Plus she sent us pictures of him regularly. We would definitely work with Alyssa again!”

“Gisele was calm and patient. She was very good for a senior dog with some anxiety. We have used rover before, but our last experience left our pup seeming depressed. Gisele was our last try for this app, and we were not disappointed. Would have her watch our dog again. Thanks Gisele”

About: I have extensive experience working with dogs of all ages, helping them adapt to their environment through desensitization and positive reinforcement techniques. I specialize in supporting puppies during their early developmental stages, guiding them in establishing proper potty habits and building a strong foundation for good behavior. In addition, I assist pet owners by providing structured outings that encourage socialization and exposure to new environments. These experiences are especially valuable for dogs learning to remain calm and well-mannered in public settings, including dog-friendly retail spaces. I am currently working full time but i am in and out of the house sometimes gone for 5-6 hours a day. Will be free after 3 pm weekdays most weekdays. Pet care is always number one. I offer a fully fenced yard with a secure 6-foot fence, providing a safe and spacious environment for dogs to play. My friendly pack of well-socialized dogs loves welcoming new companions, making it a great setting for positive interactions and playtime. I can accommodate a variety of needs—dogs can be safely crated if preferred, or enjoy supervised time outdoors on clean, well-maintained artificial turf. In addition to the main yard, I also have crates available and a separate outdoor dog run for added flexibility and safety.
“Alyssa was amazing! I was so nervous to meet & greet with her as our one pug can be nippy at new people. We arrived at her house and our pug’s tail was wagging so much! We booked her for one day and our fur babies were well treated. They loved her deck & fenced backyard! Will definitely rebook with her again!!”

“Marc was excellent with my little Yorkie. She was very recently rescued from an unusual situation and doesn’t act like you might expect a dog to act. She is also still afraid of almost everything and everyone. But she took to Marc right away and he was very understanding of her situation and she obviously enjoyed her stay.”
“Bixby seemed to really enjoy his time, and Nicole was fabulous to work with! We'll definitely be staying again. The photos & videos were a lovely treat, and kept my mind at ease while on vacation.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
