“Lindsay was genuinely the best option for our puppy Fez! Her family provided such a welcoming and loving environment for him- I could tell Lindsay's entire family fell in love with him and were sad to see him go! Will DEFINITELY book with her again! He was so well cared for and I could genuinely sense that while on my 8 day vacation, I was not stressed or worrying about him at all- he was in such good hands!”

“I have left my dog with Karrie many times and it has always been worry free. My dog gets excited to go to Karrie's and I know Karrie treats her like her own. Karrie always sends pictures of my dog so I can see how much fun she is having. When I need to be away from my dog and want her to be somewhere safe, the first person I think of is Karrie.”

“John and Lynda are really great. They are both so kind and it's clear they love dogs. They took great care of my babies. I truly felt like it was a safe place to leave them. Ive used them multiple times now and will again!”

“We will definitely be booking with them again. Pratheeksha and Nilaykumar were kind & responsive to any questions I asked, and gave each of our 2 cats the attention and support they needed. I deeply appreciated the consistent updates with photos of our cats and notes about their behaviour and activities throughout each day. Our cats enjoyed exploring their generous space and entertaining wide window. One of my cats didn’t even want to leave! He had so much fun playing with them. They were even so patient, kind & accommodating when he woke them up throughout the first night for attention. Even my other skittish cat felt comfortable enough to explore their space. You just cannot get this level of care & attention and this much space with most cat hotels or animal hospitals. Highly recommend.”

“The second time we've booked with Shavon and both times she's been great! She takes great care of our dog Hazel and provides lots of updates. We're thankful as when we're away on vacation it's nice for our dog too get a little vacation off her own!”

“Our dog Aspen was excited to be back when Julia kindly took our short notice request for another stay. Lots of pictures and videos showing Aspen making herself at home! Thank you!”

“Sarah watched our dogs for 5 days while we went on our honeymoon. She was amazing with them! We were nervous because they had never been with anyone besides family, but they absolutely loved their time with Sarah and her family! Would recommend 😊”

“Olena took such wonderful care of our petite goldendoodle over the Christmas holidays. Clifford can be quite anxious when we’re away, but thanks to Olena’s gentle, loving approach, he quickly felt safe, comfortable, and back to eating and snuggling. She welcomed him into her home and we’re incredibly grateful for her thoughtful care and excellent communication, allowing us to enjoy our holiday knowing our pup was in such loving and capable hands. Thank you very much, Olena!”

“Rebecca was amazing! She responded right away, was very professional and I just know Jet loved staying with her! I would recommend her to anyone and I will definitely rebook with her again in the future!”
“Alyssa did a fantastic job with our dog, giving us the peace of mind that he was safe and well looked after. Plus she sent us pictures of him regularly. We would definitely work with Alyssa again!”

“Wenyu and his partner are wonderful people who took great care of my dog, Rex. We met at the park for a visit prior to confirming the booking to ensure it was a good fit, and it was clear immediately that it was. After five days away Rex was his normal self. I would not hesitate to book again.”

“Charmaine was great with our pup Lux and Lux seemed to be right at home with her and had a great time! Would definitely recommend her and will be using her for future visits!”

“Gisele was calm and patient. She was very good for a senior dog with some anxiety. We have used rover before, but our last experience left our pup seeming depressed. Gisele was our last try for this app, and we were not disappointed. Would have her watch our dog again. Thanks Gisele”

“Alyssa was amazing! I was so nervous to meet & greet with her as our one pug can be nippy at new people. We arrived at her house and our pug’s tail was wagging so much! We booked her for one day and our fur babies were well treated. They loved her deck & fenced backyard! Will definitely rebook with her again!!”

“Marc was excellent with my little Yorkie. She was very recently rescued from an unusual situation and doesn’t act like you might expect a dog to act. She is also still afraid of almost everything and everyone. But she took to Marc right away and he was very understanding of her situation and she obviously enjoyed her stay.”
About: I have extensive experience working with dogs of all ages, helping them adapt to their environment through desensitization and positive reinforcement techniques. I specialize in supporting puppies during their early developmental stages, guiding them in establishing proper potty habits and building a strong foundation for good behavior. In addition, I assist pet owners by providing structured outings that encourage socialization and exposure to new environments. These experiences are especially valuable for dogs learning to remain calm and well-mannered in public settings, including dog-friendly retail spaces. I am currently working full time but i am in and out of the house sometimes gone for 5-6 hours a day. Will be free after 3 pm weekdays most weekdays. Pet care is always number one. I offer a fully fenced yard with a secure 6-foot fence, providing a safe and spacious environment for dogs to play. My friendly pack of well-socialized dogs loves welcoming new companions, making it a great setting for positive interactions and playtime. I can accommodate a variety of needs—dogs can be safely crated if preferred, or enjoy supervised time outdoors on clean, well-maintained artificial turf. In addition to the main yard, I also have crates available and a separate outdoor dog run for added flexibility and safety.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace.
