I was a proud pet parent for my adult life as well as my beloved childhood pets. I have decided to take a break from full time pet-mom-ing but miss having the lovable fur balls around. My days were generally spent with a morning hang in the back yard and any food/treats/meds. Working from home allows me to open doors for frequent potty breaks and giving pets and skritches as required. Usually have sleepy or snoring pup as my office mate. Lunch time walks are a must! After work we have some down time in the back yard and then supper. We can’t skip the after supper walk then usually a bit of play in the back yard or playing toys inside (I have a great magic trick they love!) Then time for potty routines and wind down with fluffy blankets for bed! Care for your pet would be provided in my home and I would care for them as I cared for my own, with all my heart.

About: Hey everyone I’m Kenzie. I have always loved dogs and grew up with them in the family. I have extensive knowledge in caring for pets + recognizing their needs. I am able to accommodate house-trained and kennel trained dogs. I have fostered numerous dogs in various ages, sizes, breeds and conditions throughout the years so administering medication or special attention is not an issue. I have raised 2 pups, and although I am not able to own another at this time, I find myself missing the companionship of a furry friend. I would love the opportunity to play + care for your pet(s) whenever I am available! I am currently off work due to injury and do not have a timeline of returning. I am physically capable of caring and playing with your furry loved ones, however I am limited as far as walks go due to the injury to my ankle. As far as scheduling, I will post my availability for the meantime! I have a fully fenced front yard with room to play! Although there is now snow on the ground, I encourage play outside on warmer days and bathroom time is maintained daily. Inside my home, I have a fairly open concept with little room to hide (and get into trouble!), and nowhere is off limits unless there is a door closed. I do have a set of carpeted stairs separating the upper and lower level, but have no problems with assisting in climbs. My couch and bed are dog friendly if that is accepted by the owner, but I will apply the same rules you disclose to me from your home to mine.

About: My husband and I have had a varied experiences with pets. We had a Rottie Cross who was a rescue from northern Saskatchewan that we adopted at 18 months and had for 13 wonderful years. We also had a Kerry Blue Terrier who passed away after 10 years. Currently, we have a two year old Bracco Italiano. We work full time, but spend time with our pets before work whether it be on a walk or in bed for an extra cuddle. In the evenings, Juno is a part of the family attending sporting events, playing with the kids and going for walks. I am a teacher, so will be around during the day in the summer to help give your dog the attention it deserves. We really miss having two dogs, and this is a way in which we can continue having a playmate for our pup without the long term responsibility. We have a fenced yard and a large dog run on the side of our house. The new dog park is also within a couple block walking distance. We do have children (9&11) who are great with dogs.
