“We had Mark back for a second stay at our home to watch our pup while we were away for a week. Just as was the case when we had Mark stay with our pup previously, we were immediately put at ease from the time of booking Mark. Prior to arriving, Mark had already asked all the questions regarding our dog’s usual routine and care, and so we knew that once again our pup would be in great hands. Mark’s willingness to attend to the little things (doggy tooth brushing and wrapping a new foot wound daily) was so appreciated. He sent frequent “pupdates” so we could feel like we were constantly in the loop with how our pup was doing. We have had issues with leaving our pup with others in the past where we returned to find her super stressed out with diarrhea, etc., but this was not the case after a week with Mark - our dog was happy, healthy, and seemed like she had an amazing week under Mark’s care. Further, Mark left our home spotless. We are so grateful for Mark’s fantastic care!”

“Meryem was an absolutely amazing sitter! She followed our instructions to a T and made sure Lulu had everything she needed to feel comfortable and loved. From our first meet and greet, I could see how well she connected with Lulu. She asked important questions, like how she can make Lulu comfortable and her routine. Right away, Lulu opened up to her and wanted to play. Meryem is a very loving sitter and Lulu could definitely tell. Meryem even did an amazing job of making sure we felt comfortable leaving her. Lulu is quite an anxious dog, and Meryem seemed to really calm her down and loved Lulu as if Lulu was her own. Lulu has a bit of throwing up issue after drinking a lot of water and Meryem was great at making sure Lulu was burped so that she didn’t throw up. She took Lulu on a walk twice a day and sent us pictures daily. She went above and beyond in making sure my family was happy with leaving Lulu and always reassured us. When booking Meryem as a sitter, l accidentally forgot to add an extra day to my booking. Meryem was so accommodating and stayed the extra day to make sure Lulu was comfortable and happy. She kept the house clean and returned it to us the way we left it. I was quite nervous using Rover, but after my experience with Meryem, I feel much more confident about leaving Lulu with a sitter. When I go on vacation again, I will definitely book Meryem.”

About: Outgoing, young adult with a genuine love for dogs. I am an active individual who enjoys the outdoors, yoga & hiking. I had dogs growing up until 8-months ago. I enjoy leisurely play with dogs as well as down time. I am comfortable grooming dogs including giving them a bath, trimming nails, and brushing. I am a caring individual who is easy to get along with. I easily adapt to new environments and am excited to help care for your fur baby. I work Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and work from home 3 days a week. Late afternoons/evenings are more available for me to cater to dog walking and could accommodate early morning walks. When I was a dog owner, I was very attentive to their needs. Ensuring they got plenty of exercise, had food/water, socialized them in at the dog park and promptly cleaned up any indoor accidents (and outside of course). I made sure my dogs were in good health, maintained regular vet visits and as needed, engaged them in basic training and of course, provided them with lots of love.

“No one loves or cares for dogs more than Gabby. Don't be surprised if you find her at all the dog expos/ competition. She's a mom to a cute Dogo Argentino named Tater. They both enjoy the outdoors, as they're always outside and frequently go on camping trips together. You'll also find them at just about any dog friendly venue we're they both quickly make new friends with they're matching outgoing a friendly personalities. Gabby is a very helpful and trustworthy care giver for any dog. I speak from first hand experience as she has cared for my dogs on a few occasions. About: Having grown up without pets, I always volunteered at every opportunity to pet and house-sit for friends and family. Over time, I naturally became the go-to person. Now, as a cat owner myself, I can really relate to the anxiety that comes with leaving our furry companions behind. And the one thing I always look for is whether they'll treat them with the same level of care as I would. So, I get it, and I have always done my best to not only benefit from their companionship but offer it back. Also, having travelled extensively and stayed in various accommodations, I have always respected others' homes as if they were my own. House and pet sitting? Totally up my alley! I have two awesome cats, and let me tell you, they've turned me into a full-blown animal lover. Growing up, my mom vetoed pets, so I always volunteered myself to housesit for friends, family, and neighbours. As a result, I have loads of experience, and I’ve decided to pursue it full-time given my ability to work from home, and provide the care and attention the animals deserve, all while discovering new surroundings in a refreshing change of scenery. -I hold certification in Cat and Dog First Aid from the American Red Cross.
