About: I love all animals, but I have personally owned and raised dogs, cats, chickens, racing pigeons, rabbits & lots of other small creatures. In the past I used to do agility training courses with my old dog, and I know many techniques to train puppies/young dogs to walk better on leash and learn basic commands/tricks. I'm available most times. I work as a psw doing homecare but I'm only seeing a couple clients at the moment so I am usually available, including for last minute bookings. “We tried Bozhena for 3 days of doggy daycare and were absolutely delighted. She kept me up-to-date with pictures and videos. Mocha loved the whole household and especially had a great time with the other dogs being boarded. Mocha was so excited to arrive on days 2 and 3 pawing at the gate to get in! Mocha’s tail and whole bum was wiggling with excitement! - this gave me absolute confidence when going to work for the day knowing that Mocha was happy. Bozhena has a massive fenced-in backyard - and for a very active dog like mine - that is a huge plus! Mocha got lots of exercise and was tired out every evening. I highly recommend :)”

“Mika went above and beyond to provide exceptional care for my pup, Noodles. Being it our first daycare experience, I was a little worried because Noodles can be a shy pup, but Mika took the time to get her adjusted and in no time, Mika sent me regular updates with pictures of Noodles having a wonderful time with her dog, Roxie. Noodles even ate her food while she was over which is very telling of her comfort in a new environment! I was also impressed with Mika’s thoughtfulness and professionalism - she is quick to respond, made sure of Noodles’s care instructions and also checked in with me if she noticed anything unusual. It really showed her care and attention to detail. Overall, it was reassuring to see Noodles happy and comfortable in Mika’s care and also to see Mika treat my pup as if she were her own, showering them with love, attention, and playtime. About: Offering quality, loving pet care in your home or mine! My services include boarding in my home, drop-ins, and overnight live-in pet care in your home located across Southern Ontario but primarily Stouffville, Uxbridge and Toronto. I am insured and CPR and Pet First Aid certified (2023). I am a gentle, confident and balanced pet handler. I offer lots of treats and positive reinforcement handling, plus I encourage animal led enrichment while on walks. I am formally educated in animal psychology and animal-human connections and worked in the animal therapy field. Note: I am a balanced handler (not strictly positive reinforcement, but heavy in this method). I live on 5 acres located 10 minutes from both Uxbridge and Stouffville. My primary residence is a bachelor apartment that’s cozy and will suit 1-3 small to medium breed dogs at a time. I request dogs be trained, quiet and love people and other dogs. I also love caring for elderly and special needs pets. There are no stairs in my unit but there are stairs going up to my unit so dogs should be mobile or small enough to carry. My acreage is unfenced so dogs will be leashed during outdoor adventures but they will get to explore so many sights and smells of nature living! I provide pet care full time and am dedicated to this profession. The routine is animal led, however pets usually go outside for formal walks 3x per day and a couple potty breaks in between if necessary. If your dog prefers more or less, that’s what they receive! Pets are with me almost 24 hours per day unless I have to run an errand or visit another client (if your dog likes other dogs then they come with me to other client visits for walks). I am located on 5 acres and pets have access to all of it while leashed as it is unfenced. I offer treats, positive reinforcement, lots of walks, enrichment games, outdoor time at my home, backyard time at yours and just general hanging out! Clients receive regular photo updates of their dog enjoying their stay with me!
