“My baby came home so tired, loved, and happy! We got regular updates and so many photos. I didn’t have to worry for a second. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be using Stacey’s services again.”

“Michelle and her family were great with Jojo. After looking after Jojo for acouple of days we asked if we could leave her there for another couple of days and she accepted without any hesitation. I definently will take Jojo back again when we're in that area.”

“Devon and Jordan were great to have look after our little terror lol. They were very easy going and accommodating when it came to pick up and drop off. They kept me updated with lots of pics and put me at ease as it was the first time we’ve left Roscoe. There were a couple hiccups that came with looking after a puppy but they handled it like champs! Would definitely recommend”
“Nina and Gordon were great!!! I have not left my two dogs with anyone other than family. This was all new to me. They allowed me to come over with the dogs for a meet and greet before booking. They just spent their first night away yesterday and it went very well. I could definitely tell my dogs were taken care of. The updates and photos were an added bonus for me which was much appreciated. Booking again for sure !!!”

About: Hi, I'm Lindsay! I'm a lifelong animal lover based on an acreage just outside Sherwood Park, and I treat every pet in my care like my own. Whether your pup is a social butterfly or a little shy, they'll feel right at home with me. What makes my setup special? Wide open space, fresh air, and plenty of room to explore. I love taking dogs out for walks across the property and giving them all the snuggles they deserve - because honestly, that's the best part of my day. I offer boarding and day care, and I'm committed to keeping you in the loop with regular updates and photos so you never have to wonder how your fur baby is doing. Your pet deserves more than a kennel - they deserve a real home environment where they're loved, exercised, and cared for. I'd love to meet them! 🐾 I work from home 3 days a week, and can provide day care on those dates - I'm also available for long-term stays over those days and weekends. I have two pups of my own, and they get walked daily. I would be able to walk your pups daily, bring them in for day care, and longer weekend stays.
“Breanne was looking after 5-6 other dogs at the time Buddy arrived. Buddy was given his own space and got along nicely with the other dogs. A daily walk was much appreciated.”

“Robyn and her family are so welcoming and kind to my senior dog. He receives great care, with appropriate communication and pictures to make leaving my pet behind much less stressful.”

“Absolutely incredible experience with Ana! She stepped in last minute to watch our dog Sadie for two nights and completely exceeded our expectations. Ana sent tons of photo and video updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. Sadie came home happy, calm, and totally pooped out—which is saying something because she’s a high-energy Australian Shepherd! Ana even gave her a bath before we picked her up and sent her home with homemade treats. Truly above and beyond. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

“This was the first time leaving Jack anywhere or with anyone. So, we were nervous. Neil was easy to communicate with and is calm and reassuring. We left for 2.5 days, Neil kept us apprised of Jack and all the walks and eating habits. Pictures were much appreciated. Neil and Fergus made Jack's stay a great experience for all. We would recommend Neil and Fergus to our friends and family.”

About: What sets me apart is that I truly treat every dog in my care like they’re part of my family — not just a guest. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new, so my goal is to make both you and your pup feel completely comfortable. While I may be newer to professional dog sitting, dogs are already a huge part of my everyday life. I share my home with my own sweet pup LunaRu, a collie/malamute mix, and our days usually include 1–2 long walks, plenty of playtime, and opportunities to get outside (including trips to the dog park when it’s a good fit). I understand how important routine is for dogs, so I’m happy to follow your pup’s usual schedule, feeding instructions, training cues, and preferences to help them feel safe and settled. Whether your dog is energetic and looking for adventure or just wants companionship and a cozy place to relax, I’ll adjust to their personality and needs. I also love sending updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is getting plenty of attention, exercise, and love. 🐾 I am currently working part-time from home for myself so I completely make my own schedule! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday routine! My dog LunaRu and I love getting outside, and our typical day includes 1–2 long walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I really enjoy having a dog as part of my daily life, so adding another furry friend to join our routine feels like a natural fit. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend lots of time with the dogs in my care and make sure they get the exercise, companionship, and attention they need. Whether that means an adventure outside, a trip to the dog park (if appropriate), playtime at home, or some cozy downtime, I’m happy to adjust to each dog’s personality and routine. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I want every pup in my care to feel like they’re getting a fun little vacation while still having the structure and security they’re used to at home. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air, playtime, and supervised outdoor time. I also share my home with my friendly dog LunaRu, so visiting pups have the opportunity to have a buddy to play with (after proper introductions and making sure everyone is comfortable). I know every dog has different needs and routines, so I’m happy to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, training cues, sleeping arrangements, and any house rules you’d like maintained. I also have extra crates available for dogs who are crate trained or feel safest having their own cozy space. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your dog feels at home — with plenty of exercise, attention, snuggles, and updates along the way. 🐾
About: As a pet owner who by default is nervous that my girls won’t receive the same level of care that I provide them when I need to vacation, I get it! All the 5-star reviews in the world, I still am running through the things in my mind that could go wrong, I think being a helicopter dog-dad gives me an extra edge when caring for your little. I work a Corporate finance job from home so they really get around the clock care. There is a large green space just across the street from my house that I frequent with my girl, I have a very secure fenced backyard with a doggy splash pool and a deck for them to chill out on. My street in a quiet circular one. Every other day I also take my girl to the dog park (Deermound, she uses the smaller training area because we are still working on her recall skills) and once or twice a week before I start work we get in my SUV and I get a coffee and she gets a pupcup. I recently lost my senior dog (16 years old) so I am well adept at care for a senior dog, and her sister is currently 1 year old so puppy care is also fresh for me. I can give all medications needed and can follow all dietary needs that you request. Regularly daily updates will be provided via message, pics and video. I have one dog, she’s medium and about 30LBs and very friendly with other dogs. The last thing I want is for you worrying about your little while you’re travelling (like I have done so many times lol). I can give you peace of mind :) I work a corporate finance job from home and have basically no social life (lol) so they get around the clock attention and care. Multiple walks per day, lots of playtime in the fenced backyard. I spend my day working and my evening cooking and watching old episodes of the price is right. I treat my girl like any parent would their child. We do everything together. I have a very secure fenced backyard and a deck for them to chill on, a dog splash pool. It’s a large house so lots of space. We spend our evenings on the dogs watching reality tv after a fun evening of walks and dog park of course.
“Leah was fantastic!! She kept us updated, send pictures and videos, made sure Ollie was happy, exercised and fed. She was very accommodating with pick up and drop off times and was great at communicating everything! I highly recommend her ! ☺️”

“Tricia took excellent care of our toy poodle. She sent lots of pictures and we could see he had a great experience. Tricia is very expienced in working with animals and our dog really liked her and was happy staying there.”

About: Whether your dog needs a quick potty break, a midday energy burn, or a structured adventure, I'm here to make sure they come home happy, fulfilled, and well cared for. As a dog owner and training enthusiast, I believe every walk is an opportunity to build confidence, reinforce good manners, and meet your dog's physical and mental needs. I tailor each walk to your dog's age, energy level, and personality—whether they love exploring the neighbourhood, sniffing every tree, or keeping a steady pace. Safety is always my top priority. I'll treat your dog as if they were my own, provide plenty of updates with photos, and make sure you have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is simple: to give your dog a walk they'll genuinely enjoy and give you a service you can completely trust. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to walks, drop-in visits, and giving each pet the attention they deserve. Since I enjoy spending time outdoors and being active, incorporating dog walks into my day is something I genuinely look forward to. I make it a priority to be dependable, punctual, and never rush visits. Whether your pet needs exercise, companionship, or just someone to check in while you're away, I'll ensure they receive attentive, reliable care that fits their individual needs. I believe every pet is unique, so I always take the time to follow your routine and care instructions as closely as possible. Whether I'm visiting your home or taking your dog for a walk, my goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining the routine they're used to. For dog walks and drop-in visits, I'll make sure your pet gets the exercise, potty breaks, playtime, and attention they need, along with fresh water and any feeding or medication you've requested. I also use walks as an opportunity to reinforce good manners and encourage calm, positive behaviour whenever appropriate. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I'll treat your space with the same respect I would my own. I'll make sure doors and gates are secure, clean up after your pet, and send regular updates so you always know how they're doing. My priority is providing reliable, attentive care that gives you peace of mind and makes your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
