About: I've been taking care of animals my whole life. Neighbors, friends and family rely on me babysit their pets while they are away, and call on me in emergency situations for advice with behavioural or health related issues. My love for animals knows no bounds - I currently volunteer with Marshall's Dog Rescue as well as Freedom Dog Rescue and only babysit when I do not have a foster in home. I have experience with puppies as young as 8 weeks as well as older, senior dogs. I work in a seasonal industry and as such, am laid off for the winter months. I am home all day and able to walk and play with your pup until we are both exhausted! I live in a quiet village with lots of back roads, perfect for quiet walks. I have a pack of aussie mixes - two rescues - so there will also be friends to play with and your pup will never be lonely. Is there something you've been trying to work on with your dog? A trick? About: I had the absolute honour to be a dog Mom for 15 years. My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

About: My goal for when taking care of others animals is to make sure they’re comfortable and feel like they’re part of the family while their family is away. I’ve been surrounded by dogs and animals my entire life. Ive had many dogs as well and trained them myself. I’m now a certified trainer as I love the challenge it brings. If there is another animal such as, bunnies, rats, lizards, ferrets, etc… I’ve taken care of them all and more! Provide me with the info as to what animal needs to be cared for and I’m sure I can take them in. ***( All animals I have at home are use to different types of animals. You can rest easy knowing they will not be bothered by my animals if they’re not use to them)*** Je parle aussi français For the most part I’m at home Monday through Sunday. Friday, Saturday & Sunday I’m out for three hours in the morning working. Potty breaks are always available:) I have a puppy and a cat. Treats and love are always available. If there are any food allergies I’m use to this, it’s not a problem. If they need a bath I’m happy to do so ☺️ I make homemade treats but I always ask when I meet with you if they can have them.

About: Je fait les soin de base mais si je n'y arrive pas j'appelle les vétérinaire pour me guider sinon je l'amene immédiatement et je paye les soins Je travail à temps plein actuellement, mais l'après midi vers 16h je travail plus donc je peu m'occuper de tout et me libérer l'esprit avec les animaux J'ai une grande cours avec des cordes très solide et une barrière clôturer vue que j'ai un camp de camping en arrière de chez moi

Mes journées sont bien organisées et me laissent plusieurs plages libres en matinée, en fin d’après-midi et en soirée. Je suis également disponible les fins de semaine selon les besoins. Cette stabilité me permet d’offrir une présence attentive et régulière aux chiens et aux chats dont je m’occupe, que ce soit pour des promenades, des visites à domicile ou des gardes plus longues. J’ai un grand jardin et une maison avec deux étage et un sous-sol. Cependant je donne priorité à garder les animaux dans leur environnement et ainsi interagir avec eux en sécurité.
