I have also trained dogs for many years now .family and friends rely on me to pet sit for them all the time as I am the person they trust with their fur babies. My house is big enough to be able to separate your dog if they do not like other dogs . Petsitting has enabled us to live and visit Leeds (UK), Halifax, Montreal, Brossard, St-Bruno, Quebec (Canada) Vermont, New Hampshire (USA) and Seville (Spain). We are so grateful for the opportunities that petsitting has opened up for us. The sits have ranged from 2 weeks - 1 month at a time, with pets ranging from young to elderly dogs, young to old cats, rabbits, fish and more. We have experience administering medication and supporting the animals through end-of-life care. Taking care of plants is also a joy of ours! The animals we have cared for hold a special place in our hearts and it's always difficult saying goodbye. I am currently an online English teacher, starting their own teaching academy, so I work remotely and love to give love and affection to animals whilst I work. I work remotely, so if you have needy pets, we will be at home the majority of the time! Our apartment can only hold one small dog and one cat at a time, we do not have a garden however, we take the dogs out for several walks and toilet breaks.

My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing (even when sniffing the ground), making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. About: Cats are everything to me and I would love to spend time with yours! I adopted my first cat when I was living in South Korea and moved with her to New Zealand in 2019. In Korea, I was a dog walker for 2 years and miss that connection and outdoor time with dogs. I volunteered for the SPCA in New Plymouth for 3 years and fostered cats and kittens for them for nearly 5 years. Through my fostering I ended up adopting 3 more cats. We all moved together to Canada and are now happily settled in as a family. I was also taking care of some abandonned cats in my street that I have found forever homes for before moving. I have been doing home visits to look after cats for years and discovered that even I can create a bond with even the most shy cats! I am verh careful in reading their body language and respect their boundaries. Neighbors, friends and family rely on me babysit their pets while they are away, and call on me in emergency situations for advice with behavioural or health related issues. My love for animals knows no bounds - I currently volunteer with Marshall's Dog Rescue as well as Freedom Dog Rescue and only babysit when I do not have a foster in home. I have experience with puppies as young as 8 weeks as well as older, senior dogs. I work in a seasonal industry and as such, am laid off for the winter months. I am home all day and able to walk and play with your pup until we are both exhausted! I live in a quiet village with lots of back roads, perfect for quiet walks. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing (even when sniffing the ground), making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. About: Our experience petsitting has been so inspiring and eye-opening. Petsitting has enabled us to live and visit Leeds (UK), Halifax, Montreal, Brossard, St-Bruno, Quebec (Canada) Vermont, New Hampshire (USA) and Seville (Spain). We are so grateful for the opportunities that petsitting has opened up for us. The sits have ranged from 2 weeks - 1 month at a time, with pets ranging from young to elderly dogs, young to old cats, rabbits, fish and more. We have experience administering medication and supporting the animals through end-of-life care. Taking care of plants is also a joy of ours! The animals we have cared for hold a special place in our hearts and it's always difficult saying goodbye. About: I’ve been petsitting for family and friends for two decades now, and would love the opportunity to help you out as well! I love all pets big and small, with familiarity with dogs, cats, lizards, rodents, and birds! Bonus! I’m a teacher as my day job, so you can trust that I’ve been solidly background checked, fingerprinted, etc, ensuring a safe, trustworthy person around your pets on a predictable schedule. I am a full-time teacher from September to June. This means that my summers are wide open, and you can count on a reliable consistent schedule for your pets during the school year. Since I have my own cats at home, I offer pet-sitting at your home on your schedule. This can range from stop ins for potty breaks to walks every few hours to overnight stays - you tell me and I’m there! We’ll discuss your expectations to make sure that your pets get exactly the care you expect during your time away, and I promise clear and open communication while you trust me to watch over your babies! (If you are looking for boarding, please be aware that I have cats at my home. Any pup coming in MUST be good around cats, for everyone's comfort!)

About: J'ai été propriétaires de chien durant les 20 dernières années, jusqu'à 3 en même temps. Petits et gros. Ils m'ont apporté beaucoup de bonheur et je m'ennuie de ses moment partagés avec un animal de compagnie. Je garde 1 animal à la fois, ou plusieurs si de la même famille. Je suis à la maison à tout les jours mais je travaille à l'extérieur de 7h00 à 15h00. J'ai 2 caméras pour jetter un coup d'oeil de temps à autre. Je viens dîner le midi et je fini tôt, ce qui me permet de passer beaucoup de temps avec vos cocos pour jeux, marche et câlins. À la maison vos cocos seront traités comme ils le sont chez vous. Si ils dorment dans votre lir et bien ils dormiront dans le miens. Si il ne sont pas dans une cage le jour et bien ce sera la même chose chez moi, par contre si ils sont habitués à leur cage vous n'avez qu'à l'apporter. Vos volontés seront respectées.
About: I always had dogs growing up and i just recently got seperated. I have tremendous aptitude in training animals and i like companionship. Let me show you my skills I work full time at the government of canada, and i absolutely love to spend time with my animals, i am an outgoing person that loves the outdoors. I would take the dog out for regular potty breaks and take them for walks at least once per day and twice on the weekends I have a fenced yard for potty breaks and a 3/4 acre land next to the water. We live in the country side, and my neighbours are amazing
